With reference to curricular changes proposed by the CNE Resolution 1 /2002 and CNE 2/2002 on Teacher Education in Basic Education teaching degree - this study aims to analyze the new professional profile proposed in curriculum pedagogy , Physical Education , Science Biology , Mathematics , Physics and Geography . Within the curriculum guidelines was observed in a more normative articulated curriculum, focused on action-reflection- action. A guided design in practical rationality and the skills set without breaking the commitment of the public university with emancipation and quality education . Although there is this understanding we must also attend to the care that must be given to the new guidelines , based on the same reveal great concern with vocational training , with its instrumentation , with the pragmatic and utilitarian dimension of the training process . It is noteworthy that throughout the twentieth century in Brazil , where he fought for educational policies that were to solidify the construction of teacher identity , but the gains have largely remained restricted to the issue of educational reforms and a roster of disciplines , called pedagogical varnish . Therefore, this work is to deepen this thematic perspective , studying the identity of the teacher in the new curriculum design presented by undergraduate courses . Anemia and hemoglobinopathies in pregnant women attended in a public hospital

Objectives: to identify the demographic profile and frequency of anemia and hemoglobinopathies, as a basis for future implementation of actions aimed at pregnant women in the public health domain. Method: this is a cross-sectional study developed with pregnant women attended in a university hospital at Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil. Blood samples were collected for the erythrogram analysis for detection of anemia and selective and specific tests for abnormal hemoglobin. The patients regarded as indigenous and mentally ill, as well as inmates, were excluded from the research, as they represent a vulnerable population which needs a cohort different from that of the sample. For data collection, a particular questionnaire was used. The research was approved by the Ethics Committee of Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS), under the Protocol 873/2006. Results: of the 215 pregnant women under study, 20% were adolescents; 36.3% had incomplete primary education; 53.0% were non-Caucasian; 43.3% were from Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil; and 21.1% were of European descent. 17.7% had some type of anemia and, in the evaluation of hemoglobinopathies, 4.7% of patients were detected with some abnormal hemoglobin, with the following frequencies: 3.3% with HbAS; 0.9% with HbAC; and 0.5% with intermediate β-thalassemia. Conclusion: the frequencies of anemia and hemoglobinopathy found in these pregnant women showed the importance of early diagnosis, revealing indicators able to provide a basis for preventive and assistance actions for adequate clinical monitoring, reducing maternal and neonatal morbimortality in the public health services. This article deals with the Park School, a proposal prepared by AnísioTeixeira to organize basic education in Brazil. This is a bibliographic study, anchored in texts produced by the author himself and researchers who are dedicated to their legacy. Records show that the proposed Park School was an experiment, bold and innovative, to arrange a policy for primary education in Brazil. Was expertly planned and stood out in the architectural and pedagogical aspects. Park School has shown that it is possible to provide a quality public education; political commitment and solid educational training are therefore fundamental.

Parceria entre universidade e escola pública: Pibid e Núcleo de Ensino e suas contribuições para a formação inicial dos licenciandos do curso de Pedagogia FC/Bauru

The initial teacher training can be enhanced with the participation of undergraduates in specific programs aimed at the relationship between the university and the primary education system, such as Pibid and Education Center, promising initiatives that aim to strengthen the transition from student paper the teacher. Given the importance of such programs, we analyzed in this study the impacts of the partnership between university and public school in initial teacher training of undergraduates and graduates of UNESP in Bauru, specifically in the Faculty of Education. The programs selected as objects of study of this research to draw together teaching, research and extension to enhance the link between licensing and school environment promoting the experience of concrete situations of teaching even during training, are seeking to consolidate a horizontal relationship between university and public school to both involved understand and contribute in some way to solve the dilemmas faced by the education system. In addition to identifying the similarities and singularities between programs and analyze the contributions of those in initial formation, we attempted to verify what challenges and solutions were experienced by students during the participation in the projects. In general, it can be said that participation in programs such as Pibid and Education Center are key to improving the quality of initial teacher training

Marcos legais para os cursos de graduação em pedagogia no Brasil: análise das atribuições do pedagogo

The current National Curricular Guidelines sets as parameters for Education’s programs the teaching and professional training in order to allow the realization of activities of school tutoring (management) and educational research. Our objective was to analyze educators’ attributions since 1930. For that, we made an analysis of the main laws that guided the activities of these professionals. We tried to demonstrate how the educator became from an “old” school teacher (1854-1880) to a primary education professor (end of XIX and XX centuries) and, nowadays, in a “make it all” in schools and in the administrative tasks into the schools. We hope, with this analysis, to contribute to the definition of attributions of the educator in current days and to offer subsidies for a better thinking of the process to students of Education in Brasil, helping in the tutoring of those future professionals.

A universidade e o desafio de escrever para professores

The article broaches processes relating to the production of texts aiming primary education teachers, focusing both function and role of the authors on these texts. In the present educational context, the authors of these papers perform an important purpose as their actions integrates the legitimation of specific discourses and new modalities of teacher formation. These academic researchers come across new challenges, e.g. writing for school teachers. The study which data is presented in this article was accomplished under a qualitative approach, starting with documentary analysis, and interviews, having as an empiric reference a special program for graduated working teachers.

O rúgbi e seus valores educacionais na escola

Physical education in their school environment can contribute positively in the training of students as it is in this discipline that many students feel more motivated to discuss and reflect on conflicts related to school life or in society. In this study we treat the rugby exploring attitudes and values that are present in this sport, considered important for the development of the student, with the methodological approach the dimensions of the contents developed by Coll et al. (2000) and Zabala (1998). Thus, the aim of this study was to develop rugby content emphasizing the values linked to it with students of the 5th year of primary education in a public school in the city of Rio Claro / SP. Among the values are integrity, passion, solidarity, discipline and respect that will be developed through conceptual and procedural lessons about rugby and its educational values, also taking advantage of situations up to during classes for discussions. The survey was conducted for 3 months. The evaluation was by holding a tournament organized by the students and by the researcher to observe what they learned regarding the dimensions of rugby contents (conceptual, Procedural and Attitudinal) and an essay where students expressed the experiences. As a result we see the importance of working educational values in society and the implementation of educational sports at school as a motivational tool. With the contribution of this research, it is expected that rugby can be worked in schools as an educational sport for the training of the individual and the development of physical culture of the students
