As Políticas Públicas para a promoção da igualdade racial no contexto de Presidente Prudente

This work aims at presenting the historical and social path traversed in Brazil since slavery until the implementation of affirmative public policies to promote racial equality, at the local level, in the municipality of Presidente Prudente-SP. Therefore, the starting point was the equal rights guaranteed by the Constitution. As a result, there was a brief historical path of national trajectory, starting from slavery to the so-called cordial racism, seeking to demonstrate the route of racial discrimination in the country. Later, we made notes about the necessity and debate on public policy statements of various fields, were made explicit in the text and the articles of the Constitution which prescribe the crime of racism and some of the situations that were highlighted in the national media. The focus in the city of Presidente Prudente was through historical research, interviews, photographic records and documents that informed about the presence of black people in the city. From these data, based on previous research, it was possible to trace the formation and development of the Black Movement in the city and thus point the way to the formation of this City Council for Racial Equality and the need for application of affirmative action policies for the municipality by hereby. Data from the 2000 Census and 2010 indicate the demand of Presidente Prudente as the percentage of blacks self-declared grew this decade. The main demands are paring the areas of Health since the rate of black women Administrative Region (RA) of Presidente Prudente who die in puerperium and high; Education through enhanced, by the Municipal Education Law No. 10,639, and due attention to african-Brazilian culture by respecting the religious manifestations of African origin among others... Os movimentos nas redes e em redes: das manifestações internacionais ao Movimento Prudente

Neste trabalho apresentamos uma leitura sobre o processo de articulação dos movimentos em redes e do uso das redes sociais pelos movimentos socioespaciais que mais se destacaram no mundo nos últimos cinco anos. Tendo suas bases nos marcos conceituais de movimentos socioespacial, movimentos socioterritorial, Rede e Redes Sociais, remontamos ao processo de formação da Via Campesina e das manifestações na Primavera Árabe, M12M, M15M, Occupy Wall Street, Movimento Passe Livre e o Movimento Prudente na escala local. Analisar e comparar estes movimentos e suas manifestações nos permitiu identificar a conexão entre a difusão de informações nas redes sociais e a materialização das manifestações no espaço público. Destaca-se que o uso destas tem acarretado em uma nova dinâmica não só na difusão de manifestação, mas também na realização de trabalho de base, caracterizando-se como um importante espaço de socialização política da atualidade

O trabalho dos catadores de materiais recicláveis de Presidente Prudente, São Paulo: um estudo aplicado na COOPERLIX e na coleta seletiva municipal

This work focuses on analyzing the organization of the Workers Cooperative Recyclable Products of Presidente Prudente (COOPERLIX) and selective collection of municipal service. Aiming to analyze the issue of solid waste and the work of collectors of recyclable materials in an organized Economic Development Outreach (ESS). Throughout the work was carried out theoretical approaches on the issue of solid waste, the precarious work of scavengers, some laws, among others, were conducted several field studies over the years 2011 and 2012 in COOPERLIX, with the realization meetings and debates on various subjects; tools were also used Geographic Information Systems mainly in the production of selective collection of municipal map, now at 100% of the urban area of Presidente Prudente. Finally, we carried out a comprehensive analysis of the situation of the productive and financial COOPERLIX during those two years, checking their capability and weaknesses

Alimentar ou ser alimentado?: a expansão da agroindústria canavieira e a soberania alimentar em Flórida Paulista/SP

Devido às características de uso e ocupação do território nas últimas duas décadas, marcadas pela substituição da heterogeneidade da paisagem camponesa pela monotonia dos mares verdes do agronegócio, o município de Flórida Paulista contempla elementos representativos para analisarmos algumas das resultantes entre a expansão da cana-de-açúcar e a produção de alimentos voltados ao abastecimento dos locais próximos. Com isso buscamos entender, com base no recorte eleito para estudo, o percurso do alimento no espaço, desde as pequenas propriedades camponesas que ainda resistem à imposição do formato único, até os diversos pontos de venda/aquisição de alimentos disponíveis na área urbana, além do CEASA de Presidente Prudente/SP, responsável pela distribuição da maior parte dos produtos alimentícios encontrados nas bancas do município. A expansão das áreas monocultoras encontra-se sintonizada aos imperativos da lógica do abastecimento alimentar referenciado no movimento do alimento no espaço, no qual áreas antes policultoras, produtoras de alimentos, são sobrepostas pela geometria monocultural dos canaviais, o que diminui as possibilidades de abastecimento local e reforça o discurso de que os alimentos devam ser garantidos a partir de sujeitos estranhos ao lugar. Alimentar ou ser alimentado, soberania ou segurança, poder de decisão que emana autonomia ou dependência, constituem o eixo central no debate aqui proposto, de modo a identificar, a partir do movimento que denuncia a lógica por detrás do alimento, atores e setores entre a terra e o alimento. Aplicação de coagulantes naturais no tratamento de lixiviado de resíduos urbanos

With the constant increase in the municipal solid waste (MSW) generation, mainly due to the high consumption patterns, it becomes difficult to manage correctly the solid waste and thus minimize their impact on the environment. One of the most problems of the large amount of waste generated is the liquid originated from physical, chemical and biological decomposition process of organic wastes, with dark color and bad smell, called leachate: it can reach the soil, polluting the groundwater and the surface water. This study was conducted in partnership with the Extension Project in Education Environmentally Semente Viva and it is an assessment of the environmental education methodology applied by the Group in 2014, at the Municipal School Sylvio de Araújo, in Rio Claro- SP. The implemented methodology was named Programa Eco Escolas- Semente Viva and it was based on the use of certain bases of the Eco-Schools program, created by the FEE (Foundation for Environmental Education), with some adjustments in accordance with the goals of the Group. The study followed the participatory research method, and the data collection gave up through participant observation, literature and documentary. The chapters present the description and analysis of the events that represent the implementation process of the Programa Eco Escolas- Semente Viva. The meetings with the community and environmental education activities with children from 1st to 4th year are described in detail, and is given regarding the analysis of situations, from the point of view of one of the members of the Semente Viva Group

This final work graduation presents a proposal model Seniors Center Day in the city of Presidente Prudente. The municipality has local (private and public) with socialization activities and some medical treatments for the elderly, but the attendance capacity is not sufficient and in some places the infrastructure is not adequate, as in Case Study Centro de Referência do Idoso Feliz Idade maintained by Presidente Prudente Prefecture. From projective references created the model Centro da Atividade that integrates users in the city through the spatial continuity (main architectural party) and physical and psychological comfort of the elderly. The space designed has strong links with the external environment, creating relationships of older people with nature through living spaces to free up and the psychological comfort (and the relation with nature) is present in the project through spaces with elements that make part of the affective memory of users
