This CAS report provides estimates of the quantities of fish landed in the riparian districts sharing the Ugandan waters of Lake Victoria;the monetary value of the fish catches; the contribution of different fish species to the catches; and the trends in fish catch rates, and the monthly catches for the sampled month since the beginning of the current CAS activities from July 2005 to May 2011. So far there have been 14 CASs conducted in the Uganda sector of the lake. The report also compares the annual catch and gross beach value of the catch in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2010 and 2011.

This report presents findings of the first CAS in the Ugandan waters following the agreed SOPs, carried out in July 2005. The findings indicate a total fish catch of 15,047.5 t for July 2005, contributed by Mukene/Dagaa (39.5%), Nile perch (33.1%), Tilapias (17.1%), Haplochromines (9.2%) and other fish species 1.2%. This information gives a new perspective of the estimates of fish production in the Ugandan waters of the lake which are based on field observations. Continuation of support to the CAS programme will certainly get rid of the uncertainties about the fish production levels of the lake which have been there for a long time. This information is vital for fisheries development and fisheries management endeavours.

本文研究了Ce~(3+), Dy~(3+), Eu~(3+), Cu离子以及它们的共掺杂在硫化钙基质中的光致发光和热释发光性质,并用顺磁共振方法研究了磷光体中缺陷的性质及其对磷光体光致发光的影响。在CaS:Ce~(3+)磷光体的稳定性影响因素,并经包膜后稳定性有所提高。计算了新的热释发光峰的陷阱参数。确定了热释发光的动力学级数。在Cas: Dy~(3+)磷光体中,研究了合成条件对磷光体发光性质的影响,讨论了新的热释发光峰的陷阱参数,确定了热释发光的动力学级数。在CaS:Dy~(3+)磷光体中,发现基质对Dy~(3+)离子具有敏化作用,讨论了黄兰比随Dy~(3+)离子浓度变化出现最大值的原因。计算了热释发光峰的陷阱参数,确定了热释发光的动力学级数。在CaS:Ce~(3+),Dy~(3+)磷光体中,研究了Ce~(3+)离子的发光随Dy~(3+)离子浓度的变化,可能具有Dy~(3+) → Ce~(3+)的能量传递。计算了热释发光峰的陷阱参数,确定了热释发光的动力学级数。在CaS:Cu磷光体中,确定了不同Cu~+离子格位所产生的发射峰。根据磷光体中缺陷的转化过程解释了光致发光和热释发光性质随Cu离子浓度增加所呈现的规律性变化。通过实验证明磷光体有可能用作紫外剂量材料。本文还首次研究了CaS:Cu磷光体在UV(3bb nm)辐照下,发生Cu~+→Cu~(2+)的光氧化反应,通过EPR实验证明在Cu'_(Ca)→Cu_i~+处发生光氧化反应。在CaS:Ce~(3+),Cu磷光体中,观察到了Cu离子对Ce~(3+)离子的能量传递现象。在CaS:Eu~(2+)光体中,发光强度随Eu~(2+)离子浓度变化,显示浓度猝灭特性。本文还研究了CaS:Ce~(3+), CaS:Dy~(3+), CaS:Cu以及CaS:Ce~(3+), Cu磷光体中缺陷的性质,在CaS:Ce~(3+)中存在V_S~(2+)空位,并根据这一空位的性质,解释了发光光谱,并且选择适当的助熔剂使发光效率提高。在CaS:Dy~(3+)磷光体中,存在V_S~(2+)-V_(Ca)~(2-)空位对;在CaS:Cu和CaS:Ce~(3+), Cu磷光体中,存在V_S~(2+)空位和Cu'_(Ca)缺陷。

When CaS:Sm3+, Eu2+ is excited at 476.5 nm (Ar+), the emission spectra taken at room temperature and at 77 K are different, indicating that there are two competitive energy transfer processes-Sm3+ --> Eu2+ and Eu2+ --> Sm3+ with phonon participation. So, the luminescence intensity of Sm3+ increases first, and then decreases as the concentration of Eu2+ is increasing. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.

The photochromism in CaS:Sm (from white to pink) was observed for the first time by exposing it to ultraviolet light. The experiments results show that the absorption intensity of Sm2+ in the range of 500 similar to 600nm was strongly increased after irradiation. This reveals that there is the valence changing of Sm. If the sample was excited by visible light again, the pink color turned to white, indicating that CaS:Sm has potential application in the field of storage material.

近年来对一些稀土和重金属离子在碱土金属硫化物的热释发光有过研究,,如CaS: Ce~(3+)和CaS:Bi~(3+)体系。N.Singh et al.(3)研究了CaS:Cu,Al以及CaS:Cu,Cl在UV辐照下热释发光峰值温度分别为80℃和75℃。我们用二甲亚砜硝酸钙为原料合成的CaS :Cu~+磷光体,在UV(366nm)辐照下,热释发光峰值温度大于100℃,峰值温度随铜离子浓度变化。

本文首先用X光电子能谱分析铜在硫化钙基质中是以一价形式存在的.在掺铜的硫化钙的激发光谱中,有三个吸收峰,峰位分别为268nm、307nm和400nm;在CaS:Cu~+的发射光谱中,产生四个发射峰,峰位分别为430nm、465nm、490nm和610nm.这四个发射峰分别由不同铜离子格位产生的.在Cas:Cu~+的热释发光曲线中,显示单一热释发光峰,峰值温度为120℃,该热释发光峰有可能用作紫外剂量材料.

本文研究了不同合成条件对CaS:Ce~(3+)磷光体发光性质的影响。CaS:Ce~(3+)的发光强度随Ce~(3+)离子的浓度发生变化,最佳浓度为1.001×10~(-3)mol。对应于新的单一热释发光峰(426K)的陷阱参数为,陷阱深度E=1.01eV,逃逸频率因素S=1.2×10~(11)s~(-1),磷光体的热释发光满足二级动力学过程。

模拟月壤是与月球月壤具有相似的矿物组成、化学成分和物理力学性质的地球物质,是月球样品的地球化学复制品.长白山龙岗火山群金龙顶子火山喷发的四海火山渣具有与阿波罗14号采集的月球样品相似的化学和矿物组成,并含有20%~40 %的玻璃物质.以四海火山渣为初始物质,研制成功CAS-1模拟月壤,并测量了CAS-1模拟月壤的主量和微量元素组成、矿物组成、密度、颗粒形态、粒度分布、抗剪性和复介电常数等参数.结果表明,CAS-1模拟月壤与Apollo 14号采集的月球样品具有相似的化学成分、矿物组成和物理力学性质,是一种理想的低钛玄武岩质模拟月壤.
