Peces continentales de la Argentina: Bibliografía. Lepidosiren paradoxa.

Espanol: Este trabajo tiene como objetivo la recopilación de la información existente sobre las especies presentes en nuestro territorio. Para ello, se elaboraron fichas que contienen las referencias argentinas y de aquellas revisiones de autores extranjeros que involucran taxas de nuestro país. Como principales fuentes de información se consultaron Ringuelet et al. (1967), CLOFFSCA (2003), López et al. (2003; 2006), Liotta (2006) y las bases de datos on-line de W. N. Eschmeyer y Fish Base. Esta es una publicación abierta, por lo que requerirá de actualización permanente, para lo cual sería necesario se sume a nuestra tarea la buena voluntad y colaboración de la comunidad ictiológica. Esperamos con este aporte colaborar en la construcción de una base de datos de los peces continentales de la Argentina. La concreción de esta herramienta dará soporte a los planes generados desde los diferentes sectores involucrados en el tema, además de fomentar la difusión de la disciplina y la reafirmación de los derechos soberanos sobre nuestros recursos naturales. English: The goal of this work is to compile the existing information about the species present in our country. This has been done by means of datasheets that list both local references and reviews by foreign authors that include Argentine taxa. The main information sources consulted were Ringuelet et al. (1967), CLOFFSCA (2003), López et al. (2003; 2006), Liotta (2006) and the online databases of W. N. Eschmeyer and Fish Base. This is an open-ended publication. As such, it will require permanent updating, which will depend on the good will and collaboration of the ichthyological community. With this contribution, we hope to help to build a database of the freshwater fish of Argentina. The completion of this project will provide support to diverse plans emanating from different sectors, as well as promote the diffusion of this field of research and reaffirm Argentina’s sovereign rights over our natural resources. This series will include all those people who, by means of their contributions, great and small, played a part in the consolidation of ichthyology in Argentina. The general plan of this work consists of individual factsheets containing a list of works by each author, along with reference bibliography and, whenever possible, personal pictures and additional material. The datasheets will be published primarily in chronological order, although this is subject to change by the availability of materials for successive editions. This work represents another approach for the recovery and revalorization of those who set the foundations of Argentine ichthyology while in diverse historical circumstances. I expect this to be the beginning of a major work that achieves the description of such a significant part of the history of natural sciences in Argentina. Hugo L. López (Texto en espanol. Spanish: En esta serie se mencionan a todos aquellos que, a través de sus pequeños o grandes aportes, contribuyeron a la consolidación de la disciplina en nuestro país. El plan general de esta contribución consiste en la elaboración de fichas individuales que contengan una lista de trabajos de los diferentes autores, acompañadas por bibliografía de referencia y, cuando ello fuera posible, por imágenes personales y material adicional. Se tratará de guardar un orden cronológico, pero esto no es excluyente, ya que priorizaremos las sucesivas ediciones al material disponible. Este es otro camino para rescatar y revalorizar a quienes en diversos contextos históricos sentaron las bases de lo que hoy es la ictiología nacional. Considero que este es el comienzo de una obra de mayor magnitud en la que se logre describir una parte importante de la historia de las ciencias naturales de la República Argentina. ¿con qué deporte escolar sueñan las familias?

[ES]En este artículo se recogen las opiniones de las familias de tres centros escolares (Azkue ikastola de Lekeitio, Betiko ikastola de Leioa y Seber Altube ikastola de Gernika), pertenecientes a la Federación de Ikastolas de Bizkaia (FIB/BIE). Las opiniones recogidas están relacionadas con una manera propia de entender el deporte escolar, que se va a ver materializada en la expresión de sus sueños. Estas opiniones han sido recogidas por los coordinadores de los centros, a través de los debates que se desarrollaban en losgrupos de discusión convocados al efecto con diferentes audiencias (escolares, familias, monitores, profesores y direcciones de los centros). El proceso de investigación seguido en el seminario se centra en procesos de interpelación, interrogación, contrastación y redefinición, por lo que se ajusta a un estudio cualitativo que se centra en la construcción conjunta del conocimiento (Pérez Gómez,1994, Imbernon, 1994).

Estudio de investigación de las competencias demandadas y del perfil profesional requerido a los titulados de la Escuela Universitaria de Ingeniería de Vitoria-Gasteiz

A partir del análisis del perfil del ingeniero en la sociedad europea, se ha elaborado una encuesta amplia mediante la que se solicitó a las empresas del entorno las competencias y materias que consideraban más importantes en la formación de los ingenieros de las titulaciones ofertadas en la Escuela. A partir de los resultados de dichas encuestas, se establece un perfil requerido a los titulados.

A rational fraction polynomials model to study vertical dynamic wheel-rail interaction

This paper presents a model designed to study vertical interactions between wheel and rail when the wheel moves over a rail welding. The model focuses on the spatial domain, and is drawn up in a simple fashion from track receptances. The paper obtains the receptances from a full track model in the frequency domain already developed by the authors, which includes deformation of the rail section and propagation of bending, elongation and torsional waves along an infinite track. Transformation between domains was secured by applying a modified rational fraction polynomials method. This obtains a track model with very few degrees of freedom, and thus with minimum time consumption for integration, with a good match to the original model over a sufficiently broad range of frequencies. Wheel-rail interaction is modelled on a non-linear Hertzian spring, and consideration is given to parametric excitation caused by the wheel moving over a sleeper, since this is a moving wheel model and not a moving irregularity model. The model is used to study the dynamic loads and displacements emerging at the wheel-rail contact passing over a welding defect at different speeds.

Pedro de S. Francisco nasceu em Marzagào, na África, em data desconhecida, e morreu em 1638. O religioso franciscano foi mestre em Teologia e Provincial da sua Ordem. Segundo Inocêncio, na ‘Explicação do salmo cincoenta’, o autor analisa e comenta extensamente cada um dos versos do salmo Miserere mei Dei e afirma, ainda, que "são raros os exemplares deste livro, em que (corno diz o censor Jorge Cabral, que o reviu por ordem do Santo Ofício) resplandece a erudição, doutrina, piedade e sabedoria do autor". O impressor da obra, Pedro Craesbeeck, nasceu em Antuérpia, onde aprendeu a arte da impressão na famosa Oficina de Cristóvão Plantino. Mudou-se para Portugal por volta de 1592, onde fundou uma verdadeira dinastia de impressores célebres que ali trabalharam nos séculos XV e XVI. Responsável pela impressão de obras de grande beleza tipográfica. Pedro Craesbeeck tornou-se impressor régio, conforme consta em alvará de 28 de maio de r620. Seus trabalhos foram editados no período de 1597 a 1632.

New fish populations as evidence of climate chage in former dry areas of the Pampa Region ( Southern South America).

Water bodies located at 34º 58' S, 62º 58' W formed after 1980 by 30 % increasing rainfall during the last half century, were colonized by ten fish species which are a subset of the commonest species living in the pampasic lagunas. These new populations imply a displacement of the West of Pampasian fishes to areas of the western basins previously lacking fish.

This compilation groups the bibliographic references up to the year 1992 of the species of the genus Prochilodus present in Argentina. A list of the species of the genus inhabiting del Plata basin is presented.

Aborda a criação da primeira companhia estatal do Brasil, aconselhada pelo Padre Antonio Vieira. Embora copiasse as companhias das Índias Ocidentais dos holandeses e ingleses, não teve exito. A obra contém o "Alvará por que V. Magestade" confirma os capítulos e condições dessa Companhia.
