This paper analyzes recent policies of teacher eduation in Brazil related to the employment and professional dimmensions of the teaching career. It analyzes teacher education policies, and the guidelines established by the World Bank in the 1990s, to reform higher education in the so-called developing countries, focusing on th implementation of neolibera educational policies. These policies have produced a "new" value for educational insititutions: they are emptying schools of education; “defertilization” of schools; “deintellectualization” of the teacher profession; pauperization, fragmentation and emptying the contents teacher education programs and recontextualization of the nexus theory-practice. The reforms after the Directives and Bases of Education - Law No. 9394/1996, with respect to the education of teachers, are analyzed in relation to the process of productive restructuring. We analyze the relation between theory and practice, given the National Curriculum Guidelines for the Education Course (DCNCP, 2006), focusing on the Course of Pedagogy for the Faculty of Philosophy and Science, at the Paulista State University, Campus of Marilia. This course offers an extensive practical training, but restricted as to the academic content offered, limiting the possibilities of an in-depth training for the future teachers. Discussing these relations, this article presents the assessment of the students in the course and concludes offering perspectives for a humanizing and critical training.

Análise multitemporal de indicadores geoambientais como subsídio ao plano de gestão ambiental - Floresta Nacional de Ipanema - SP

The objective of this research was to conduct an analysis of multitemporal landscape Ipanema National Forest, located in the municipalities of Iperó, Capela do Alto and Araçoiaba da Serra – São Paulo estate, Brazil, considering the scenarios of 1965, 2007 and 2011. The multitemporal analysis, using aerial photographs and satellite images, contributed to the contextualization and spatialization of the evolution of the landscape area. Through analysis interpretation of the images, performed by means of supervised classification were obtained thematic maps of the area, equivalent to approximately 53 km2. Through geoprocessing techniques, especially Geographic Information Systems, it was possible the integration and manipulation of data, both spatial and statistical, allowing integrated analysis of data from the entire area of the National Forest of Ipanema. As the main result, we found that the Ipanema National Forest is in landscape evolution positive, with those 46 years examined the increase of native heavy foliage areas. Increasing from 7.1 km2 of the total area of dense vegetation in 1965 to 35.9 km2 in 2011. Overall, it was possible to realize a scenario landscape quite optimistic about the evolution of forest conservation area

O regime de metas de inflação no Brasil: um exame teórico e empírico de seu funcionamento

The Inflation targeting regime is a concept of monetary policy which was adopted by several countries in the 90’s; Brazil being among these countries, having adopted it in 1999 after a currency crisis. With it theoretical structure regulated by the New – Classical theory and having as its main characteristic the prior announcement of a numerical target for the inflation, this regime was adopted by countries attempting to achieve a prices stability. The present project is going to explain the theoretical basis of the regime, as well as its implementation process in Brazil and the criticism it received. However, the main focus will be on the discussion of the employment of the IPCA (Consumer Price Index) as a measuring index for Brazil’s inflation

Importância do exame laboratorial no diagnóstico de linfoma em cães e gatos

Lymphoma is a cancer originating in solid hematopoietic tissue and is one of the most common tumors in dogs and cats. Usually the diagnosis is made late, when the disease is at an advanced stage, reducing the success of treatment, affecting the prognosis. Therefore, early diagnosis is the best tool to combat this increasingly common disease in veterinary medicine. Due to the diversity of presentations and forms of the disease, clinical signs are nonspecific and varied making the use of laboratory testing essential to lymphoma diagnosis in order of establishing the most appropriate treatment as quickly as possible, giving the patient a longer survival rate

The processes resulting from globalization are backdrop for the work. On the other hand the Regulation Theory is theoretical north that drives research directions. Considering these two basis, we studied the formation of economic groups as a consequence of the processes of concentration and centralization of capital, giving more emphasis on their national character. We see how they went through the restructuring process in the transition from Fordist accumulation regime to a flexible system of accumulation. We 'll discuss the brewery industry and how major industry groups are currently creating a sector overview, ranging from the productive process to the forms of competition among large companies. Specifically we will see the Petrópolis Group this framework and how the company relates to the territory, and what answers we have of this relationship in terms of local development in the territories where the group entered, and territorial changes which have occurred there

Políticas educacionais dos anos 1990: a questão do fracasso escolar

O presente trabalho consiste numa análise teórica das políticas educacionais delineadas a partir dos anos de 1990, mormente nos oito anos do governo Fernando Henrique Cardoso, com o objetivo de verificar se os principais documentos legais, planos e ações, elaborados no período, enfrentam a questão do fracasso escolar no ensino fundamental, considerando ser este um dos grandes desafios da educação brasileira. A análise documental envolve o estudo (i) das distintas concepções de fracasso escolar; (ii) da legislação básica promulgada no período, examinando a) a Constituição Federal de 1988 e as emendas constitucionais referentes à educação b) a Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação Nacional 9.394/96 e as leis que alteraram o texto original c) a Lei nº 9.424/96 que trata do Fundo de Manutenção e Desenvolvimento do Ensino Fundamental e de Valorização do Magistério (FUNDEF); (iii) dos planos de educação, examinando a) O Plano Decenal de Educação para Todos - 1993-2003 b) o Plano Nacional de Educação – PNE 2001-2010 – Lei nº 10.172/2001 e (iv) dos Programas para correção do fluxo escolar, em especial o modo como se operam o sistema de ciclos e de progressão continuada, por considerá-los como importantes ações governamentais utilizadas para o enfrentamento do fracasso escolar por boa parte dos sistemas escolares. O exame da legislação e planos objetiva destacar artigos ou trechos que demonstrem preocupação, discutam, ou indiquem ações para a resolução do problema do fracasso escolar. Os dados estatísticos sobre repetência, abandono e evasão escolar subsidiam a análise da temática. O trabalho ratifica as teses de diversos autores sobre a exclusão escolar, presente nos diversos sistemas educacionais, a escola de hoje pratica uma “inclusão excludente”, mantendo os alunos em seu interior mesmo que não estes não apresentem níveis de aprendizagem satisfatórios.
