Basándose en la experimentación didáctica, se intenta elaborar una serie de materiales curriculares en los que el planteamiento de situaciones de enseñanza-aprendizaje estén relacionadas con cada una de las etapas del nuevo Sistema Educativo. Los objetivos educativos que se quieren contrastar han sido definidos a partir de la integración de los Objetivos Generales de Etapa y de los Objetivos Generales de Área del Diseño Curricular Base. El procedimiento utilizado ha sido clasificar estos Objetivos Generales según el tipo de capacidad a que se refiera: ámbito físico, ámbito motriz y afectivo-social. Abarca la Educación Infantil, Primaria, Secundaria Obligatoria y Postobligatoria de 35 centros de EGB, 7 de BUP y 5 de Formación Profesional. P. de la isla de Tenerife. El colectivo de profesores de Educación Física escolar de Canarias acordó que cada isla solicitara, por separado, una subvención a esa Dirección General canaria. El proyecto lo llevan Tenerife, La Gomera y La Palma.

Conocer las dimensiones cualitativas del impacto producido en la pr??ctica docente, creencias, concepciones, opiniones, habilidades y disposiciones did??cticas e intelectuales del profesorado, durante la experimentaci??n del proyecto de pensamiento cr??tico 'Filosof??a 6/18'.. Cuatro profesores de institutos de bachillerato de la red p??blica vinculados con las actividades de formaci??n del 'Institut de Recerca per a l'Ensenyament de la Filosof??a'. El criterio de selecci??n m??s significativo fue atender a un rasgo diferencial entre ellos que fue el tiempo y experiencia en el 'Proyecto 6/18'.. Estructura la investigaci??n en tres partes.La primera consiste en una aproximaci??n conceptual que incluye:antecedentes te??rico-pr??cticos; puntos centrales sobre la aportaci??n del pensamiento al curr??culum y a la formaci??n del profesorado desde la psicolog??a y la filosof??a; el an??lisis conceptual de 'pensamiento cr??tico' y su concreci??n en el proyecto 'Filosof??a 6/18'; la contribuci??n del pensamiento cr??tico y la filosof??a a la did??ctica y a la formaci??n del profesorado. La segunda parte incluye el desarrollo, an??lisis e interpretaci??n del 'estudio de caso compartido' investigado y la comprobaci??n de los propios supuestos de investigaci??n desde la perspectiva cualitativa. La tercera parte corresponde a las conclusiones, propuesta de consideraciones para la pr??ctica educativa y formaci??n del profesorado.. Bibliograf??a, observaci??n participante, observaci??n no participante, entrevistas con expertos, cuestionario de autopercepci??n, di??logos anal??ticos, negociaci??n de significados.. Estudio biogr??fico, estudio comparativo, categorizaci??n, interpretaci??n de di??logos.. Se logra conocer diferentes aspectos denominados 'dimensiones cualitativas' del impacto general en concepciones, opiniones, sensibilidades intelectuales, efectos docentes y profesionales de los ense??antes que han experimentado el proyecto durante varios a??os.. El proyecto 'Filosof??a 6/18' tiene tal potencialidad de cambio en el profesorado, que se constituye no solo como proyecto curricular, sino como un proyecto docente y de transformaci??n de la pr??ctica de los ense??antes. Introdução: No Brasil, desde a constituição de 1988, a creche passou a ser um direito da criança, um dever do Estado e uma opção da família. Considerando que o desenvolvimento infantil é um processo complexo resultante da interação do potencial biológico com o ambiente social e cultural no qual a criança está inserida, as creches se constituem como fator ambiental que influencia o desenvolvimento das habilidades cognitivas, motoras e sociais das crianças. Assim, conhecer situações que possam comprometer o desenvolvimento de crianças inseridas em creches é fundamental para a elaboração de políticas e estratégias que contribuam para melhorar a qualidade dos serviços ofertados por estas instituições. Objetivo: verificar a prevalência de atraso no desenvolvimento neuropsicomotor em lactentes inseridos em creches públicas na cidade de João Pessoa/PB e analisar fatores associados ao desenvolvimento infantil. Metodologia: de março a junho de 2012 realizou-se um estudo seccional nas turmas de berçários dos Centros de Referência em Educação Infantil (CREI) da Rede Municipal de Ensino da Cidade de João Pessoa/PB com a população de crianças na faixa etária entre 6 e 18 meses, e suas respectivas mães (biológicas ou substitutas). O desfecho estudado foi o desenvolvimento neuropsicomotor avaliado pelo Teste de Triagem do Desenvolvimento de Denver II. Variáveis explicativas de natureza biológica, materna, social e demográfica foram investigadas a partir de questionário aplicado a mãe/responsável, da avaliação da caderneta de saúde da criança e por um formulário sobre a creche por meio da observação do ambiente físico e pela entrevista com gestores.

Treatment of the labile cluster [Os3(CO)11(MeCN)] with PH3 affords the substituted product [Os3(CO)11(PH3)](1) in high yield. Subsequent reaction of (1) with Na2CO3 in MeOH, followed by acidification, gives the hydrido phosphido cluster [Os3(µ-H)(CO)10(µ-PH2)](2). When (2) is heated to 45–60 °C in the presence of [Os3(CO)11(MeCN)] a hexanuclear complex with the formulation [Os6(µ-H)2(CO)21(µ3-PH)](3) is obtained. If this reaction is repeated using [Os3(CO)10(MeCN)2] instead of [Os3(CO)11(MeCN)], an acetonitrile-containing product, [Os6(µ-H)2(CO)20(MeCN)(µ3-PH)](4), is obtained. An X-ray analysis of (4) shows that two Os3 triangular units are linked by a µ3-phosphinidene ligand, which symmetrically bridges an Os–Os edge of one triangle and is terminally co-ordinated to one Os atom of the second triangle. When (3) is treated with a weak base, such as [N(PPh3)2]Cl or [PPh3Me] Br, deprotonation to the corresponding cluster monoanion [Os6(µ-H)(CO)21(µ3-PH)]–(5) occurs. Treatment of (5) with a weak acid regenerates (3) in quantitative yield. Thermolysis of (3) leads to a closing up of the metal framework, affording the cluster [Os6(µ-H)(CO)18(µ6-P)], which readily deprotonates to give the anion [Os6(CO)18(µ6-P)]–(7) in the presence of [N(PPh3)2] Cl or [PPh3Me]Br. The same anion (7) may also be obtained by direct thermolysis of (5). An X-ray analysis of the [PPh3Me]+ salt of (7) confirms that the phosphorus occupies an interstitial site in a trigonal-prismatic hexaosmium framework, and co-ordinates to all six metal atoms with an average Os–P distance of 2.31 (1)Å. Proton and 31P n.m.r. data on all the new clusters are presented, and the position of the phosphorus resonance in the 31P n.m.r. spectrum is related to the changes in the environment of the phosphorus atom.

Glucose 6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PDH) catalyzes the first step of the pentose-phosphate pathway which supplies cells with ribose 5-phosphate (R5P) and NADPH. R5P is the precursor for the biosynthesis of nucleotides while NADPH is the cofactor of several dehydrogenases acting in a broad range of biosynthetic processes and in the maintenance of the cellular redox state. RNA interference-mediated reduction of G6PDH levels in bloodstream-form Trypanosoma brucei validated this enzyme as a drug target against Human African Trypanosomiasis. Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), a human steroidal pro-hormone and its derivative 16 alpha-bromoepiandrosterone (16BrEA) are uncompetitive inhibitors of mammalian G6PDH. Such steroids are also known to enhance the immune response in a broad range of animal infection models. It is noteworthy that the administration of DHEA to rats infected by Trypanosoma cruzi, the causative agent of Human American Trypanosomiasis (also known as Chagas` disease), reduces blood parasite levels at both acute and chronic infection stages. In the present work, we investigated the in vitro effect of DHEA derivatives on the proliferation of T. cruzi epimastigotes and their inhibitory effect on a recombinant form of the parasite`s G6PDH (TcG6PDH). Our results show that DHEA and its derivative epiandrosterone (EA) are uncompetitive inhibitors of TcG6PDH, with K(i) values of 21.5 +/- 0.5 and 4.8 +/- 0.3 mu M, respectively. Results from quantitative inhibition assays indicate 16BrEA as a potent inhibitor of TcG6PDH with an IC(50) of 86 +/- 8 nM and those from in vitro cell viability assays confirm its toxicity for T. cruzi epimastigotes, with a LD(50) of 12 +/- 8 mu M. In summary, we demonstrated that, in addition to host immune response enhancement, 16BrEA has a direct effect on parasite viability, most likely as a consequence of TcG6PDH inhibition. Objective:Gene expression studies have revealed several molecular subtypes of breast carcinoma with distinct clinical and biological behaviours. DNA microarray studies correlated with immunohistochemical profiling of breast carcinomas using cytokeratin (CK) markers, Her2/neu, oestrogen receptor (ER), and basal myoepithelial cell markers have identified five breast tumour subtypes: (i) luminal A (ER+; Her2/neu-), (ii) luminal B (ER+; Her2/neu+), (iii) Her2 overexpression (ER-; Her2/neu+), (iv) basal-like (ER-; Her2/neu-, CK5/6 and 14+), and (v) negative for all markers. Luminal carcinomas express cytokeratins in a luminal pattern (CK8/18), and the basal-like type expresses CK5/6 and CK14 or basal epithelial cell markers. CK5/6, CK8/18, and smooth muscle actin (SMA) expression were assessed in cell blocks and compared with expression in surgical specimens.Methods:Sixty-two cases of breast carcinoma diagnosed by fine needle aspiration cytology with cell blocks and available surgical specimens were included. Cell blocks containing at least 10 high-power fields each with at least 10 tumour cells and surgical specimens were immunostained for CK5/6, CK8/18 and SMA.Results:Percentage sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value and accuracy were, respectively, 77, 100, 100, 92 and 94 for CK5/6; 98, 66, 96, 80 and 95 for CK8/18; and 92, 96, 85, 98 and 95 for SMA.Conclusion:The identification of CK5/6, CK8/18 and SMA by immunohistochemistry in cell blocks can be a reliable method that yields results close to those obtained in surgical specimens, and can contribute to the classification of breast carcinomas with luminal and basal expression patterns, providing helpful information in the choice of treatment and in the evaluation of prognostic and predictive factors.

The purpose of this study was to analyze crown fractures and crown-root fractures due to dentoalveolar trauma, treated in the Integrated Clinic comprehensive dental care at Aracatuba School of Dentistry (UNESP), from January 1992 to July 2002. The data were obtained from files of trauma cases. on the analysis period, 293 patients had crown fractures or crown-root fractures, in 605 teeth. Sixty-nine percent were males and 31% were females. Adolescents between 11 and 18 years old were the most prevalent group (41.6%) and the maxillary arch was the most commonly traumatized (83%). The most commonly affected tooth was the maxillary central incisor (58.3%). The most frequent causes were falls from bicycles (30.8%). It was concluded that the reality of the local service is similar to the published data.
