Utilização de 5S, Kanban e Layout para a melhoria do controle de estoque em um varejo de materiais para construção

Many small businesses suffer from a lack of control of goods stored. This lack of control affects other areas of the company as purchase, that can’t buy material in an advanced and accurated way. It also affects services provided by the company, especially when it is a store because for sell something it is necessary to have the material in the right time. Futhermore, the business isn’t able to identify obsolete items in stock, theft and vandalism, loss or damage to materials. All of these disorders can be converted into financial losses that make much difference to a small business that needs to remain competitive in the market facing the giants while generating a profit that allows it to invest in their growth. Therefore, any unnecessary expense is exceedingly harmful and any savings already differentiates it from other companies of similar size. This study deals with the application of production engineering tools as 5S, kanban and layout in a building materials retail to tackle problems that prevent this company to have a stock organized and accurated. Finally, we recorded gains that the company reached with the implementation of part of the solution proposed

Análise ambiental em um canteiro de obras

The building sector can cause the environmental degradation, by the natural resources consumption, machinery use and natural landscape modifying. The environmental management system (EMS) improves the environmental quality and makes the companies more competitive. So, this work developed an environmental management system in a building site focused on the solid waste and in the development of mitigation proposals for the most significant environmental impacts. To develop this work it was necessary to follow the building site activities; evaluate the solid waste management; identify the law requirements; identify the environmental aspects and impacts; evaluate the environmental impacts; and propose alternatives for mitigating the adverse environmental critical impacts. The main proposals are the reduction of the waste generation in the place that it’s generated; the reuse and correct final disposal of that wastes; the treatment and reuse of the effluent; and the supervising in the trucks and machineries avoiding the oil spilling and the air pollution

Planejamento e organização das atividades de manutenção em instalações elétricas prediais e seus componentes

Are presented on this paper, concepts of corrective, preventive and predictive maintenances, following the prerequisites for planning and implementation of a maintenance plan. You also find the theoretical introduction of some measurement instruments accompanied by the necessary and recommended activities during routine maintenances of the electrical equipments in a building installation. Using case study, it is possible to assess a real maintenance plan applied to two occupied floors in a financial institution. The developing of a case study consolidates the effectiveness of the present concepts on this theoretical introduction and shows that the current maintenance plan can be improved in order to obtain better results on company productivity and reliability of equipments. As a conclusion, we can notice the importance of a solid maintenance plan and the need of including this theme on the graduation in Electrical Engineering

Políticas públicas municipais de saúde: fortalecendo a democracia em pequenos municípios brasileiros

This article presents the endeavors of health municipal teams in building services that meet citizens’ demands, in a small municipality from a less developed area of the state of São Paulo. Beyond health services practice characterization and organization, our study assesses the challenges and advances in the implementation of public, health policies in Brazil. In this way it is possible to perceive how the family health strategy needs to overcome impasses in the service work processes, as well as more dynamic local and regional relations to provide comprehensive care to citizens. Health care exemplifies how, in democracy building, municipal action is indispensable to strengthen the effectiveness of public actions.

Comunicação empresarial e relações públicas: a construção de relacionamentos no contexto do Facebook

Currently with the context of the Internet, especially on online social networks, it is observed that people and companies are establishing relationships both online and offline. The new digital culture and the competitiveness of the market are making companies change the way they communicate with their customers, providing a broader and more participative communication with their stakeholders. This resear chaims to understand the relation of corporate communication and Public Relations and from the conceptualization of the trials will detect the relationship processes of companies and their public in online social networks. Understand this type of relation ship is interesting because that, it is the field of the Public Relations professional. An area that grows in importance in today's market, since Facebook is being used as a channel of communication and relationship with consumers. The methodology used is exploratory research, in which, it aims to familiarize themselves with the subject and the possibility of analyzing three examples of relationships and engagement in the corporate communications field. In this case, the ranking of the top three companies, Coca-Cola, Guaraná Antarctica e Mc Donald's, in the Top Facebook Posts Brazil in January 2015. It is important that to have a Public Relations Professional that is able to create an open channel of communication on social networks with the purpose of detecting the characteristics of the target public and promote the participation of such public in the building of content and the innovative organization process. Diagnóstico do plano de gestão de resíduos sólidos do município de Osasco (SP)

The management of solid waste has been a great challenge to public managers both because of its high operational costs and increasing waste generation. Besides environmental and public health harm, it involves high costs to be mitigated. It is necessary to seek solutions that focus on, amongst other matters, economic efficiency for a healthy environment. This could be reached with sustainable development, which has proven itself as an alternative model of development to the actual one in place. In order to ensure that sustentability is the goal of an activity, it is necessary to establish goals and to evaluate a system in order to track opportunities and correct possible mistakes, that is, it is necessary to elaborate a Waste Management Plan. However, in order to establish goals, it is also necessary a good description of the management of solid waste, thus diagnosis is a core aspect in the building of an specific law, as it will allow for the knowledge of the actual status of solid waste collection in Osasco town, showing what progress has been made in recent years, identifying current problems and generating the foundations to build future perspectives in the area. The present work has seeked to elaborate a diagnosis on waste management in Osasco municipality, presenting places for consultation and analysing how it meets the current legislation in place, enabling it to serve as a model for the elaboration of other diagnosis in other Brazilian municipalities

Pesquisa em educação ambiental e questões metodológicas: uma discussão coletiva

The Research on Environmental Education Meetings (EPEAs, in Portuguese) include in their schedule the Groups on Research Discussion (GDPs, in Portuguese). These are sessions to discuss and deepen themes considered significant to the research on environmental education but that must also be seen as a moment to gather the participation of researchers who present works related to the GDPs’ themes. The GDP on Methodological Questions happened during the VII EPEA in 2013 and conducted effusive discussions which resulted in the building of some indicators to be used in the research of our field in order to ensure more and more social commitment and scientific competence in the field's maturation process. This article presents part of these discussions with emphasis on those indicators.

Design de superfície - abordagem qualitativa para fachadas corporativas

This paper reports the stage of a research on the corporate identity in commercial buildings. The objective of the research is to develop a system that aims to help the designer to enhance the transmission of the brand identity on the construction. At this step, we looked for the ascertainment of the variables that contribute to it in buildings considered as icons of brand identification in the building. And this paper also presents an analysis of a flagship located in Tokyo, from the Dior brand, which we used Surface Design techniques, combining cultural studies to geometric modeling, to Gestalt and Semiotics.

Análise de projetos arquitetônicos modernistas com interferências visuais no Brasil

Modernism was a movement that began in the 1920s through the critical activities of Oswald de Andrade, Menotti del Picchia, Mário de Andrade and others who warned of the valuation of national roots. Thus exposed their ideas renewing groups of artists who begin to unite around a new aesthetic proposal. Modern architecture in Brazil had its origins in European avant-garde in the early twentieth century as well, represented by architect Antonio Moya. In 1923 arrives in São Paulo Warchavchik the architect, who always insisted on the same character "modern" time and "Brazil" in its architecture. Years following: architects claim in full, influencing young architects. This research aims to analyze the projects executed by some architects that have reshaped or rewrote the architecture in Brazil with modernism and artistic / visual interference with paneled walls and details entered in these buildings.
