This paper has as its theme the relationship between child corporeity and school culture. The purpose is thus to discuss the school culture, in its dimensions to school times and spaces and to reflect on the influence of these dimensions in the construction of children corporeity who attending primary and the first grade of nine year elementary school.

Teoria crítica da sociedade: um olhar sobre a educação em tempos de sociedade tecnológica

This article aims to discuss and reflect on the contributions of the Critical Theory of Society called for the field of education in times of increasing technological development. Therefore, we look to the works of three authors exponents of Critical Theory: Walter Benjamin, Theodor W. Adorno and Herbert Marcuse, highlighting the reflections and analyzes of these authors and using them as input in the educational field. The selfreflective and self-education is conceived in its potential to overcome the conditions of domination that remain in our society increasingly technified and supposedly democratic. Thus, the educational praxis think it seems like something urgent and necessary to be broken with certain conditions that keeps our potential to barbarism.

Resistência ao cisalhamento de bráquetes fotopolimerizados com arco de plasma, LED e luz halógena utilizando diferentes tempos

This study evaluated in vitro the shear bond strength of brackets bonded with xenon plasma arc light, light-emitting diode (LED) and conventional halogen light using different curing times. Brackets were bonded to the buccal surface of 60 human maxillary premolars allocated to five groups. In groups 1 and 2, the resin was cured with the plasma arc for three and six seconds (s), respectively; in groups 3 and 4, the LED was used for five and ten s, respectively; and in group 5, the halogen light was used for 40 s. The specimens were stored in water for 24 hours and subjected to a shear force until bracket failure. The debonding pattern was classified according to the adhesive remnant index (ARI). The results were assessed by Anova and the SNK post-hoc test. No differences were detected among groups 2, 4 and 5, which showed higher averages than groups 1 and 3, which were not different between themselves. The ARI scores showed no differences among the three types of light sources in all times tested. Plasma arc and LED lights can be used with shorter curing times, within certain limits, than conventional halogen light for bonding orthodontic brackets, without decreasing bond strength.

Cristo si è fermato a Eboli, de Carlo Levi e Francesco Rosi: memórias da cor de olhos tristes

As a hybrid genre, the narrative of Carlo Levi is an objective account and subjective elaboration that are equalized in a literary form. Written between 1943 and 1944, the book evokes with an atmosphere of memoir the period of 1935 and 1936, the writer’s exile. The film based on the narration fragmentizes the daily life of the problematic region and highlights the truth aimed by the discourses composed in times of crises, reinforced by action and expression without provincialism and also without a compensating aristocratic pose. It is possible to see some incapacity of the film by Rosi, natural to a certain degree, to translate the synthesis of literary treatment and socio-historical reflection. For this reason it is necessary to read the adaptation as an attitude about the literary matter and the result of historical experience. The memoir character relies on the artifice that makes good use of the book’s opening, the author’s short monologue, its narrative frame. O som, o sentido e o gênero Giallo: análise do filme Prelúdio Para Matar (1975), de Dario Argento

Considerado exemplo modelar do gênero giallo, estilo exclusivamente italiano e que envolve a solução de um mistério relacionado a uma série de assassinatos, o filme Prelúdio Para Matar (1975), do cineasta Dario Argento (1940-), é o objeto central deste projeto de pesquisa. Para esta pesquisa se dá especial atenção à investigação da trilha sonora, que, parcialmente, junto à composição visual, formalizam as dimensões de estrutura e sentido desse filme. Serão esclarecidas informações introdutórias sobre o som e composição para o cinema de horror e o ambiente de produção de filmes na Itália; os fatores concomitantes e anteriores a produção do objeto de estudo. No tocante à trilha, serão analisados dois elementos centrais da narrativa: (1) a música, com seus códigos específicos de composição sonora; (2) os efeitos sonoros que projetam ao espectador o reconhecimento ou não de determinados sons. Partindo da premissa que o som ainda é um elemento fílmico pouco explorado nas narrativas audiovisuais, esta pesquisa estabelece uma hipótese, a qual pode ser enunciada nos seguintes termos: a trilha musical e os efeitos de som, presentes no filme Prelúdio para matar, são elementos centrais para a articulação do gênero discursivo giallo nesse caso, co-participando, de modo visível ao espectador, com o controle, a estruturação e as estratégias de narração ali presentes

Fabricação e caracterização de diodo Schottky orgânico com arquitetura planar

Usually organic polymeric diodes are made with a semiconductor layer placed between two electrodes in a sandwich-like architecture, where the electrodes are deposited on the surfaces of a polymeric semiconductor film. This methodology leads to two main problems: i) the polymeric film top surface is rough and irregular, resulting in non-uniform electric field into the device; ii) during the deposition of metallic electrode in the top surface polymeric film, by thermal evaporation, occurs the diffusion of metal atoms into the polymeric film, changing the material electronic structure. Thus, the metal-semiconductor junction is not well defined, which is essential for the production of good quality Schottky diode, which exhibits ideality factor close to the unity and low turn-on voltage. In order to avoid these two problems, in the present research was proposed to manufacture an organic diode with the semiconductor polymeric layer deposited over bimetallic (gold and aluminum) interdigitated electrodes. The doping of the active layer was performed by immersing the device in hydrochloric acid solution with pH 2 during different times in order to promote different doping levels of the semiconductor polymer. Was verified that the proposed diode, which exhibits well-defined metal-semiconductor junction, operates as a Schottky diode, with good ideality factor, 10 ± 3, and low turn-on voltage, 1,2 ± 0,2 V, in comparison with conventional organic polymeric diodes. Contrasting with the ideality factor and turn-on voltage, the diode rectification ratio was obtained as 7, a value lower than the expected for a good organic diode. Was also showed that the diode characteristics were dependent on the semiconductor polymer doping level, and that the diode characteristics were optimized with doping promoted by immersion in the acid solution for times longer than 50 s. The present scenario of the employment market, demands an increasing commitment from employees based on one’s potential to offer the often required skills for companies who desire to hold on to a competitive position in its business segment. Studies about the relationship between commitment and the management polices demonstrates that many organizations are still neglecting the importance of their intellectual resources by applying some measures which result in a dangerous psycho-social environment and a decrease in the employee’s commitment. However, some well established organizations, attentive to signs from the market, are showing evidence of strategically integrated policies that invest in strengthening the relationship with their employees.
