Like other transgenic animals, transgenic fishes produced by microinjection are transgenic mosaics. In order to produce homogenous transgenic fish, the transgenic blastula or gastrula cells were dissociated from Carassius auratus, Pengze var, and Cyprinus carpio, Huanghe var., and the nuclei were transferred into the mature eggs of the same species via microinjection or electro-fusion. Five nuclear-transferred Carassius auratus, Pengze var. and one Cyprinus carpio, Huanghe var. were obtained and the existence of the transgene was detected. The possibility of generating homogenous strain of transgenic fish by nuclear transplantation with transgenic early-embryonic cells is discussed.

Within an isospin- and momentum-dependent hadronic transport model, it is shown that the recent FOPI data on the pi(-)/pi(+) ratio in central heavy-ion collisions at SIS/GSI energies [Willy Reisdorf , Nucl. Phys. A 781, 459 (2007)] provide circumstantial evidence suggesting a rather soft nuclear symmetry energy E-sym(rho) at rho >= 2 rho(0) compared to the Akmal-Pandharipande-Ravenhall prediction. Some astrophysical implications and the need for further experimental confirmations are discussed.

Using a transport model coupled with a phase-space coalescence afterburner, we study the triton-He-3 (t-He-3) ratio with both relative and differential transverse flows in semicentral Sn-132 + Sn-124 reactions at a beam energy of 400 MeV/nucleon. The neutron-proton ratios with relative and differential flows are also discussed as a reference. We find that similar to the neutron-proton pairs, the t-He-3 pairs also carry interesting information regarding the density dependence of the nuclear symmetry energy. Moreover, the nuclear symmetry energy affects more strongly the t-He-3 relative and differential flows than the pi(-)/pi(+) ratio in the same reaction. The t-He-3 relative flow can be used as a particularly powerful probe of the high-density behavior of the nuclear symmetry energy.

Extended quark distribution functions are presented obtained by fitting a large amount of experimental data of the l-A DIS process on the basis of an improved nuclear density model. The experimental data of l-A DIS processes with A >= 3 in the region 0.0010 <= x <= 0.9500 axe quite satisfactorily described by using the extended formulae. Our knowledge of the influence of nuclear matter on the quark distributions is deepened.

We have investigated the isospin dependence of the neutron and proton (PF2)-P-3 superfluidity in isospin-asymmetric nuclear matter within the framework of the Brueckner-Hartree-Fock approach and the BCS theory. We show that the (PF2)-P-3 neutron and proton pairing gaps depend sensitively on isospin asymmetry of asymmetric nuclear matter. As the isospin asymmetry increases, the neutron (PF2)-P-3 superfluidity becomes stronger and the peak value of the neutron (PF2)-P-3 pairing gap increases rapidly. The isospin dependence of the proton (PF2)-P-3 superfluidity is shown to be opposite to the neutron one. The proton (PF2)-P-3 superfluidity becomes weaker at a higher asymmetry and it even vanishes at high enough asymmetries. At high asymmetries, the neutron (PF2)-P-3 superfluidity turns out to be much stronger than the proton one, implying that the neutron (PF2)-P-3 superfluidity is dominated in the highly asymmetric dense interior of neutron stars.

We perform a systematic calculation of the equation of state of asymmetric nuclear matter at finite temperature within the framework of the Brueckner-Hartree-Fock approach with a microscopic three-body force. When applying it to the study of hotka on condensed matter, we find that the thermal effect is more profound in comparison with normal matter, in particular around the threshold density. Also, the increase of temperature makes the equation of state slightly stiffer through suppression of kaon condensation.

The nuclear stopping and the radial flow are investigated with an isospin-dependent quantum molecular dynamics (IQMD) model for Ni + Ni and Pb + Pb from 0.4 to and 1.2 GeV/u. The expansion velocity as well as the degree of nuclear stopping are higher in the heavier system at all energies. The ratio between the flow energy and the total available energy in center of mass of the colliding systems exhibits a positive correlation to the degree of nuclear stopping. The maximum density (rho(max)) achieved in the compression is comparable to the hydrodynamics prediction only if the non-zero collision time effect is taken into account in the later. Due to the partial transparency, the growing of the maximum density achieved in the central region of the fireball with the increase of beam energy becomes gradually flat in the 1 GeV/u energy regime. We briefly introduce the current status and progress in the field of radioactive ion beam physics and the study of super-heavy nuclei. Some important problems and research directions are outlined, such as the sub-barrier fusion reaction, the direct reaction at Fermi energy and high energies, the property of nuclei at drip-lines, new magic numbers and new collective motion modes for unstable nuclei and the synthesis and study of the super-heavy nuclei.

We have developed the formula and the numerical code for calculating the rearrangement contribution to the single particle (s.p.) properties in asymmetric nuclear matter induced by three-body forces within the framework of the Brueckner theory extended to include a microscopic three-body force (TBF). We have investigated systematically the TBF-induced rearrangement effect on the s.p. properties and their isospin-behavior in neutron-rich nuclear medium. It is shown that the TBF induces a repulsive rearrangement contribution to the s.p. potential in nuclear medium. The repulsion of the TBF rearrangement contribution increases rapidly as a function of density and nucleon momentum. It reduces largely the attraction of the BHF s.p. potential and enhances strongly the momentum dependence of the s.p. potential at large densities and high-momenta. The TBF rearrangement effect on symmetry potential is to enhances its repulsion (attraction) on neutrons (protons) in dense asymmetric nuclear matter.

The neutron (PF2)-P-3 pairing gap in pure neutron matter, neutron (PF2)-P-3 gap and neutron-proton (SD1)-S-3 gap in symmetric nuclear matter have been studied by using the Brueckner-Hartree-Fock(BHF) approach and the BCS theory. We have concentrated on investigating and discussing the three-body force effect on the nucleon superfluidity. The calculated results indicate that the three-body force enhances remaxkably the (PF2)-P-3 superfluidity in neutron matter. It also enhances the (PF2)-P-3 superfluidity in symmetric nuclear matter and its effect increases monotonically as the Fermi-momentum k(F) increases, whereas the three-body force is shown to influence only weakly the neutron-proton (SD1)-S-3 gap in symmetric nuclear matter.

In order to determine the equation of state in the isospin asymmetrical nuclear interactions, we have found the observables for extracting the information of them within the isospin-dependent quantum molecular dynamics in recent years. The several sensitive probes for extracting the information of the in-medium nucleon-nucleon cross section and the symmetry potential have found; meanwhile, their mechanisms are investigated in more details. The main point in this paper gives the summary for above probes and their outlook in the future.

Two multi-nuclear titanium complexes [Ti(eta(5)-Cp-*) Cl(mu-O)](3) ( 1) and [(eta(5)-(CpTiCl)-Ti-*)(mu-O)(2)(eta(5)-(CpTi)-Ti-*)(2)(mu-O)(mu-O)(2)](2)Ti (Cp-* = C5Me5) ( 2) have been investigated as the precatalysts for syndiospecific polymerization of styrene. In the presence of modified methylaluminoxane ( MMAO) as a cocatalyst, complexes 1 and 2 display much higher catalytic activities towards styrene polymerization, and produce the higher molecular weight polystyrenes with higher syndiotacticities and melting temperatures ( T-m) than the mother complex (CpTiCl3)-Ti-* does when the polymerization temperature is above 70 degrees C and the Al/Ti molar ratio is in the low range especially.
