Electrochemical detection method and related aspects Herein is disclosed an electrochemical test method comprising (i) comparing how a plurality of immittance functions and/or components thereof vary with a change in a parameter of interest for a first system, and then selecting an immittance function or component thereof for use in an electrochemical test; (ii) carryingout an electrochemical test step for a second system to determine at least one value for the immittance function or component thereof selected in step (i), and then, by using a quantitative relationship between the selected immittance function and the parameter of interest, determining a value in the parameter of interest. A computer program and apparatus are also disclosed herein.

Experiência, infância e cuidado de si: desafios aos atuais saberes e práticas escolares

This paper deals with the problem of experience and its possible languages between school knowledge and practices. Its objective is to find the different possibilities of thinking the experience in the educational praxis, based on the contemporary philosophical categories of event and childhood as well as on the genres of poetic language and testimony. In order to do so, it is reconstructed a genealogy of the transformation of educational praxis into pedagogical art in its relationships with childhood whether as a government goal or as a subject, revealing the domination states that constitute them and pointing out their potential of resistance to the actual one. It is also stated that this event breaks into in the aesthetic dimension of experience and concurs in order to interrupt the order of discourse, making subjects of educational praxis think about it and causing care of oneself to become an ethic attitude put together with an aesthetics of experience. Thus, this research aims at restoring the dignity of experience among school knowledge and practices.

Pluralidade cultural e educação física: elaboração de material didático

In 1997, the National Curriculum Parameters (BRASIL, 1997a) proposed the incorporation of the Transversal Themes in all of the knowledge areas. Specifically in the School Physical Education, the teacher working with transversality must stabilish bridges between the body culture practice with these themes. Promote this relationship is not a simple task and there are many problems that stuck the advance of this propose. So, thinking about making didactical formulat teaching stragies and think about the development of their practice. Another challenge is considerate as a beginning in the pedagogic activity the student’s knowledge and experience, as listening during the process of knowledge construction. In this way, the aim of this research is investigate the 8th and 9th grade of the primary school students conception about Cultural Plurality. After this, using the information taken gron the students, we are going to present subisidies to make a textbook, for the teachers and for students, with Physical Education activities possibilies with this Transversal Theme. Keeping in mind the aim of this research, we used the semi-structed interview as a instrument of data collection. The interview was made with 30 students of the 8th and 9th grade the primary school from two statual schools of Rio Claro city. The procediments were executed following the ethics comite requirements. In other to associate the Cultural Plurality with Physical Education, dance and physical adventure activities contents were selected. The results showed that the students know few thinks about this Transversal Themes, because they had apoor knowledge, according to National Curriculum Parameters. In scholar environment and Physical Education classes, there are many cases of prejudice and discrimination, mostly by the leack of ability. This study has its objective to analyze how the Technology of Information and Communication-TIC will be applied in the construction on new knowledge in the schools bounded to the program Acessa Escola.( School turned on) This program from São Paulo’s Government, developed by the Secretary of Education of the State , under the coordination of the Foundation to the Development of the Education-FDE, which has the work proposal to promote the digital inclusion to all the educational community. Making it possible the access of the Technology of Information and Communication to the users; Students, teachers, and school employees to have the exchange of information and knowledge. Therefore, there is the collaboration between teachers and student.For the development of this research, there will be semi-structured interviews with high school teacher from 3 different High Schools of Piracicaba-SP. These interviews will be done in a qualitative approach and will be submitted to the Ethic Committee from the University

Mídias radicais e a utilização do Culture Jamming: quebrando as barreiras construídas pelos veículos hegemônicos

This monograph aims to analyze the ability of the radical media to lead journalistic productions performed by O Globo during debates of the event Rio +20. The concentration of the major means of communication in the minor part of the population consolidates what can be called by hegemonic media. These media are primarily responsible for controlling the content viewed by a large portion of the population. Aiming a true plurality of information the alternative media day-by-day is looking for a bigger space within the communication market. Thus, the hegemonic media use capable tools to interfere in editorial policies consolidated by corporative media. One of those possible tools is the Culture Jamming, an activist action that interferes in a variety of marketing branches of communication. Therefore, having in its basis theorists such as John Downing and Perseu Abramo this study analyzed the journalistic content produced by the newspaper O Globo between the days 13 to 22 of June, in which the Rio +20 activities were held

Basquetebol X temas transversais: a produção de material didático audiovisual para a Educação Física escolar

This study aimed, first, produce a kind of educational materials in audiovisual format, to the Physical Education, addressing the Transversal Themes in view of the basketball. The themes chosen were Cultural Plurality, addressing the basketball in a wheelchair, and Labor and Consumer Affairs, addressing the marketing and exploitation of labor force that the company is Nike. There is no doubt the importance of media production in contemporary society, as one of its main languages, but of little relevance in the school environment, especially in the area of Physical Education. In a second phase aimed at evaluating the feasibility of this material both as a teaching strategy, such as content of learning lessons. The evaluation was made through a discussion in the form of focus groups with 10 students from 9 th grade of elementary school. The results showed that despite an initial rejection of the material as a teaching strategy because of the history that Physical Education has for several years, students were open to new ways of learning. Since the results on the material, such as learning content, showed that the videos were able to address and the Transversal Themes and meet the need for procedural content with the proposed activities. With this, we realize that students are willing to discuss matters that are not always addressed, but now, with the creation of national curriculum standards should be reflected in the classroom
