This work presents a project of Action Search in a consumption industry of the sector of personal care, health and beauty. Following the implementation steps of Autonomous Maintenance Pillar of TPM methodology, stands for Total Productive Maintenance, this work aims to ensure the advancement of some machines in a production line of the company to the next steps of the methodology implementation, demonstrating the results achieved by the TPM. In the company in question, the TPM has been implemented in the past but lost strength over the years and some of its concepts were abandoned, producing then a drop in the equipments efficiency, increased wastes and breaks in the processes, as well as loss in product quality. Then, the need arose to restart the implementation process from the beginning, to strictly follow all the steps of the methodology, ensuring increased efficiency of equipment and processes. Through training and a changing in the company culture, it was possible a joint effort between Operation and Maintenance in order to enhance the knowledge of the operators on their machines. Initially, it was developed a general cleanliness program of equipments so that it could be possible to find the anomalies in the process. Subsequently, operators and maintainers were trained to detect anomalies, enabling equipments to work under their basic conditions of operation and subsequently building provisional standards of equipment cleaning, lubrication and inspection. Through the improvement presented by some indicators such as OEE, wastes, bankruptcies and unavailability, it was proved the importance and the positive effects of TPM implementation in manufacturing

A crise ecológica, considerada reflexo de uma crise social por vários autores, tem na Educação Ambiental (EA) um dos caminhos possíveis na reversão desse quadro. Para isso, acreditamos que ela deva contemplar três dimensões (conhecimentos, participação e valores) que se articulam e se complementam. Particularmente interessadas na dimensão dos valores, voltamo-nos à questão da valorização estética da natureza. A dimensão estética, com destaque aqui para sua associação com a arte em geral, pode contribuir para a construção de uma visão de mundo menos fragmentada, na medida em que propicia ao educando a construção de novos valores e o desenvolvimento da sensibilidade, ampliando a perspectiva desenhada pela cultura em que ele está inserido. Reconhecendo o desafio que significa a abordagem da dimensão estética em projetos de EA, objetivamos com esta investigação, de caráter qualitativo, identificar os entendimentos e práticas de professores e de arte-educadores interessados no trabalho com EA, analisando os limites e possibilidades para o trabalho com essa dimensão. A pesquisa envolveu quatro professores de escolas públicas da cidade de Rio Claro-SP, participantes de um curso de formação docente cujo tema foi a EA e o trabalho com valores, e quatro arte-educadores que realizam trabalhos de EA. Os dados foram coletados a partir das transcrições de filmagens e de relatos das reuniões ocorridas ao longo do referido curso, da análise documental dos Planos de Ensinos e diários dos professores, observação das práticas dos professores, entrevistas e questionários respondidos pelos arte-educadores. Um dos principais aspectos que emergiu da análise dos dados refere-se à necessidade de se romper com o modelo racionalista adotado por nossa sociedade, o qual, dentre outras coisas, nega a sensibilidade a ponto de tornar a dimensão estética... Currently the company suffers a heavy influence of media, through their tentacles people are reached and clawed into a consumerist context, and the reason for the success of this market share is linked to aesthetics. An ideal beauty standard is followed, aimed at recognizing social, emotional success, professional and loving. Thus, people are accustomed from his childhood with the image of a perfect prince or princess, heroes that is becoming increasingly more muscular and developed throughout the evolution of cinema. While the aesthetic perfection is internalized by society and see that this beauty is not a particular good for some people, but everyone should become pretty standard to suit hence those who do not fit this stereotype are somehow excluded from the circle of society standard. One way people try to develop and hone the look is through weight training exercises in specialized academies. The problem is when it appears not the contentment of the individual in relation to his body. Even when your muscles are increasing, for the person who suffers from Vigorexia changes are significant to the point never to be content with their state of development, which is seen distorted and underestimated. Thus this paper aims to describe the situation and how the routine Vigorexia context and people are distorted to suit the aesthetic and social demands that are made, through a literature search on the muscle dysmorphia. It is of paramount importance to know the pathological picture of Vigorexia not only by professionals of Psychology, Psychiatry and Medicine, but also for Physical Educators that are constantly present in an active and that can positively or negatively influence the routine and pathological picture of these people with Muscular Dysmorphia

O presente estudo tem como propósito fundamental a realização de uma revisão de literatura a fim de analisar os conceitos e problemáticas que envolvem a relação do homem com sua imagem corporal e os ditames culturais impostos pela mídia. Estamos diante de uma realidade na qual a sociedade exalta padrões de beleza corporal muitas vezes inatingíveis que proporcionam uma série de transtornos de ordem física, psicológica e emocional em indivíduos que buscam de forma incessante alcançar e exibir tais padrões. Corpos transformados, os mais variados produtos e estratégias do mercado da estética, são cada vez mais valorizados em detrimento não apenas da saúde, mas também da individualidade do ser humano que não mede esforços para se destacar e ser aceito socialmente. Na atualidade fica cada vez mais evidente que não apenas as mulheres são influenciadas e sofrem com as questões da aparência física, mas vem se intensificando os transtornos de imagem corporal e suas conseqüências no universo masculino. Dismorfia Muscular, popularmente conhecida como vigorexia, é o foco do presente estudo pela necessidade de aumentar as pesquisas na área a fim de intervir numa realidade que se mostra crítica a cada dia. Nossa conclusão aponta para um melhor direcionamento de olhares para o corpo transformado, seja ele em qual transformação se der a incidência de um trabalho sistemático e pontua a ação do profissional do corpo, em qualquer das suas feições, como o líder de um trabalho equilibrado e assertivo

This essay aims to drive the paths of Frederico Barbosa’s poetry to experience the refusal of the effortless. The dimensions of the emptiness, of the about and the nothing, are here under investigation as a style of expression that builds the structure of the poem. The utopian response to these themes could be in the deviation of the effortless by a refusal gesture of the language that mimetically works the paths of a style that refuses the easy way of making poetry itself.

The finite element method is of great importance for the development and analysis of a new product being designed or already on the market, and that requires some specific request or special application. The tower crane, being an essential equipment for modern construction to increase productivity and safety on construction sites, is required for many types of special applications day after day, in many kinds of work. Paying attention to this growing need for handling special projects for the tower crane, faced with the importance and necessity of development and improvement of knowledge in more accurate and practical calculation methods such as the finite element method , for greater agility and precision in the response to a new project. The tower crane is defined by the maximum load moment that it can act with a certain amount of load. The tower crane which will be analyzed in this work , for example, is a tower crane with a resulting capacity of 85 Metric Tons which are considered basic dimensions data of a fisical tower crane of a crane company Liebherr in Guaratinguetá . Thus, the project analysis will begin with the threedimensional representation of the crane lines with AutoCAD software , conversion of this model to the format accepted ANSYS Workbench and completion of 3D modeling of structural components in Design module ANSYS software. After structural modeling is completed, the simulation is performed in static simulation of ANSYS Workbench software mode. The standards will be adopted to DIN (Deutsches Institut für Normung) and EN 14439 (Europäische Normung 14439) and some NR 's related to specific security class of tower cranes, which will be referred throughout the work

From August 2005 to March 2007, the two seasons (with 12 and 10 episodes respectively) of the award winning miniseries HBO‟s ROME were aired by the Home Box Office (HBO) channel. With screenplay signed by various writers and directors, the TV series was a coproduction of HBO (USA) and BBC (UK) with support from RAI (Italy), and the show was filmed in multiple locations, but mainly in Cinecittà Film Studios in Rome, very famous for having been headquarters also for Federico Fellini‟s movies. In the first season, the miniseries depicts the conquest of Gaul, made by the military genius of Gaius Julius Caesar, and the political trajectory that made him accumulate power to such an extent that this divided Roman citizens into two factions, one supporting and the other opposing him, the latter focused mainly on the historic figure of General Gnaeus Pompey Magnus. The second season shows the period of civil war following the assassination of Caesar, and the future rise to power of his nephew, adopted son and sole heir, Gaius Octavian Augustus, who was destined to overcome his rivals as well as their allies in the triumvirate that had been formed to pursue and punish Caesar‟s assassins. These facts are well known and usually crowd the mind and imagination of every minimally educated person. The HBO series broke new ground not only for the talent of its writers, directors and actors, not only for its visual effects and locations nor for the vibrancy and grandeur of historical scenes – after all, “historical movies” in general do the same – but it has done so also by the (re)construction of historical events from the perspective of a pair of protagonists of whom too little is known: the centurions Titus Pullo and Lucius Vorenus, who are the only low-rank soldiers mentioned by Caesar in his book Commentaries on the Gallic War (Commentarii de Bello Gallico V.44). Thus, the fictionalization of events also took into account several Roman civilization data which were scattered through historical sources and also those that belong to the modern knowledge of material culture, resulting in a TV series whose filmic aesthetics has rare beauty and creativity. From the survey of textual, historical and cultural data put together in this film, as well as the distance featuring the creative space in the dimension of the gap between them, this paper aims to highlight two pivotal moments of visual and narrative strategies of the show: the opening credits footage and the final scenes of the first season of HBO's Rome.

This article aims to reflect on the growth of the practice of plastic surgery for cosmetic purposes and its relationship with the contemporary consumer culture. In other words, we discuss how this practice expresses the values and principles for consumer culture and configures itself differently in different contextsin, as the cities of Sao Paulo and London, where he held field work involving the collection of information in press materials, data files, interviews and observation in clinical aes‐ thetic.

The increased interest in orthodontics by adults has led companies to develop new treatment alternatives that use less visible and more aesthetic orthodontic appliances. The aesthetic aligners stand out among the treatment options that attend these expectations. This paper presented some relevant aspects of these devices, as well as two cases treated with Essix MTM (Dentsply) system, in which all aesthetic and functional objectives proposed treatment have been achieved. The results of this study support the idea that, when properly indicated, aesthetic aligners are a viable treatment option within the clinical routine of the orthodontist.
