The present study had as the main purpose to verify the teacher’s formation who update in the child education institutions of the Irati city (Parana State – Brazil), throughout the years of 2005, 2006 and 2007, and their implications for the pedagogical actions. Seven institutions they had participated of the study. The data collection was made by means of documents of the institutions. A predominance of secondary school in the formation of the teachers was verified, even so had still one high index of professionals with formation level below of this requirement to the legislation. We conclude that it has urgency to the implementation of public politics directed toward the child education, with focus for the formation’s teachers.

O poder da televisão na construção da infância

Com o desenvolvimento da tecnologia, os meios de comunicação de massa evoluíram gradativamente. Neste cenário atual, a televisão representa um dos meios mais poderosos, visto que sua capacidade de alcance abarca milhões de pessoas, dentre elas, o público infantil. Frente aos recursos utilizados, como a exploração de imagens e sons, capazes de acionar as mais variadas emoções, observa-se a presença de um discurso ideológico que, estando aliado ao consumo, propõe mascarar as relações de fragmentação social. Tal discurso é dissipado pela televisão, e encontra-se inserido no universo infantil, denotando aspecto de preocupação. Por isso, a presente pesquisa consiste num trabalho de investigação e crítica acerca dos valores perpassados pela ideologia da classe dominante através da TV, revelando a urgência da discussão e da educação voltadas para a formação de telespectadores críticos, desde sua infância.

The growing demand for quality at competitive prices and fast production process put to the test function in the industrial Maintenance. The need for equipment with high availability to fit this fierce competitiveness makes maintenance becomes essentially reliable. Despite this current context, many companies still have an old view of maintenance, focused only on corrective services, and proposals for change are often neglected due to the sense of urgency day to day. La mission de ce rapport se trouvée dans un projet major de mise en place de la TPM dans l’usine de Biotechnologie à Huningue. Le même sera utilisé comme pilote pour les autres sites de l’entreprise. Le but spécifique de ma mission au sein de Novartis, était d’identifier les activités principales des équipes de maintenance, étudier la façon de travailler et la manière comment ils étaient renseignées dans leurs Ordres de Travail (OT). Ensuite, proposer un standard de flux de travail et façon de renseigner les OT et ainsi organiser la façon de travailler et pouvoir planifier les activités de maintenance, ayant une bonne base de données pour faire les indicateurs

Motivos de adesão, manutenção e preferência de idosos em programas de atividades físicas

Diante do crescente aumento da população idosa, juntamente com o avanço da procura de idosos por programas de atividades físicas voltados à terceira idade, há uma preocupação e urgência em atender aos interesses e necessidades desses indivíduos, a fim de proporcionar um envelhecimento saudável. Tendo em vista a dificuldade encontrada em localizar trabalhos que relacionem a visão dos idosos com a visão dos profissionais de educação física que trabalham diretamente com atividades voltadas a esta população e que abordem aspectos relacionados à prática dos idosos em tais programas, tornou-se importante a realização desta pesquisa. Este estudo, de natureza qualitativa, teve por objetivo identificar os motivos de adesão, manutenção e preferência de idosos, com relação aos exercícios físicos realizados em um programa sistematizado, sob o olhar dos idosos praticantes e dos profissionais que trabalham diretamente com esta população. Para tanto, o estudo constitui-se da união de pesquisa bibliográfica e pesquisa de campo do tipo survey, utilizando-se como instrumento para coleta de dados uma entrevista semiestruturada, aplicada a uma amostra intencional composta de 30 idosos praticantes de exercícios físicos e de 10 profissionais que coordenam essas atividades. Os dados foram analisados descritivamente, por meio da técnica de Análise de Conteúdo Temático, obtendo-se como resultados: a orientação médica como principal motivo de adesão, tanto na visão dos idosos, como na dos profissionais que trabalham diretamente com esta população; melhorar a saúde foi o principal motivo de permanência, de acordo com os idosos entrevistados e, na visão dos profissionais, foi a interação social; saúde debilitada como principal motivo de desistência para os dois grupos da amostra. Estudo de melhorias dos painéis de baixa tensão da Faculdade de Engenharia de Guaratinguetá - UNESP

The protection and distribution systems for the electrics equipments are really important for the safety of products, process and final users, for an enterprise or even for a residence. For that, it’s necessary the utilization of low voltage switchboards for controlling the feeding of a charge, avoiding any kind of abnormality that can eventually occur. It’s necessary to pay attention in the cubicles conditions, and always verify if they are in accordance to the norms of the product, verifying also any kind of physical damage for the operator and/or users. In this line, the present graduation work analyses the low voltage switchboards in the college, checking if they are attending the actual standards, suggesting some improvements and later making a simulation of the creation of a new panel that reach all the needing in substitution of this actual, through the software Simaris. Using the research and lecture of norms and regulations for verifying the problems, this way we could register the greatest acting failures. These actions are made for becoming aware to the university about the danger in using electrics equipments without a minimum degree of protection, allowed by the law, and attempting to the urgency in changing this fails

Construindo desenvolvimento sustentável: contextualização dos mecanismos da gestão empresarial de recursos hídricos superficiais no estado de São Paulo

A escassez de água para a manutenção dos processos naturais ou para abastecimento humano e em empreendimentos seja em quantidade ou qualidade, corrobora a necessidade e a urgência de comprometimento efetivo de responsabilidade do ser humano com os recursos hídricos e com o ambiente. Falar em Gestão Ambiental (GA), entretanto, especialmente no Brasil, tornou-se lugar comum no discurso de diversos segmentos da sociedade, e em muitos casos desprovido de sentido efetivo. No meio empresarial, ações e discurso ambiental veiculados são reflexo da atuação de diferentes perfis de profissionais, com diferentes tipos de treinamento, e regidos por interesses que nem sempre remontam preocupação com o meio. A regulamentação sobre como devem ser exercida a atuação na área de ambiental, entretanto, bem como monitoramento institucional desta atuação, ainda se encontram em estágio de construção. Mas, a crescente pressão da demanda socioeconômica na iniciativa privada responde por crescente consumo de água e produção de águas residuárias. Para que o desenvolvimento atingido seja sustentável nestes empreendimentos é, portanto, urgente que haja disseminação de informação a gestores ambientais e a comunidade, disponibilizando ferramentas para um gerenciamento mais adequado – com entendimento da situação, de alternativas para amenizar impactos gerados, de como o empreendimento se insere neste cenário e com acompanhamento do desenvolvimento institucional. Assim, este trabalho tem como proposta a produção de material de referência na contextualização da situação dos mecanismos da gestão de recursos hídricos superficiais no estado de São Paulo para empreendimentos, dentro do foco do saneamento básico. Acidentes na infância atendidos no pronto socorro de pediatria do Hospital das Clínicas de Botucatu que motivaram internação

Accidents represent a major public health problem as they are frequent, preventable, and account for high morbidity and mortality rates. Children are the most vulnerable to accidents due to their inherent characteristics, and as a result of their physical, sensorial, psychomotor and cognitive limitations, which will only develop with time. Watchfulness and careful attention are of paramount importance, especially as children develop locomotor skills that are accompanied by curiosity about their surroundings. Child accidents, particularly those that could have been avoided, are the accidents most commonly seen in emergency and urgency departments. Urgency and emergency departments are the greatest allies in the attention to pediatric accidents as they offer adequate, immediate and specific high complexity care to patients at risk, viewing their vital stabilization. Investigating the causes and consequences of this insult is essential to establish a diagnosis and to contribute for the adoption of measures of prevention, control, and assistance. To identify the epidemiologic characteristics of the accidents involving children that received care at the pediatric emergency department of Botucatu Medical School Hospital and required hospitalization. This quantitative, retrospective, descriptiveanalytic epidemiologic study included all children aged 0-14 years who had had an accident and were seen at the Pediatric Emergency Department of Botucatu Medical School Hospital of São Paulo State University/UNESP between January 1/2008 and December 31/2009. A total of 227 medical charts were reviewed and 178 (78.4%) patients were included in this study. Of these, 116 (65.1%) were males and 62 (34.8%) were females. Children aged 5 - 9 years (38.9%) were the most affected, followed by those aged 10 - 14 years (37.5%). Fractures occurred in 138 (77.5%) of the cases, followed by foreign bodies... The competitiveness in the industrial sector is increasingly fierce. In this context, the quality of maintenance is often neglected due to the sense of urgency that arises in these companies. Gestão no futebol: os quatro grandes times do estado de São Paulo

This research aims to identify elements that show how management influences and is present in modern Brazilian soccer, the competition and rivalry between the soccer teams, especially in the state of São Paulo, have increased considerably and consequently causing the search for efficiency to advance even more. The research was based on how close a relationship between management and soccer could influence it. Is the management so significant for the outcome of soccer match? The clubs with the best results are always those who apply best management models? Data that enabled the determination of financial indicators was collected from those who are considered the four major clubs in the state of São Paulo (SC Corinthians Paulista, SE Palmeiras, Santos FC and São Paulo FC ). With the data, the indicators and events that occurred with the clubs in the period 2010-2012, it was possible to demonstrate the influence of management in soccer, both good and bad, and see that even with the immediate results that soccer requires, managers should invest in some long-term measures to improve the structure of the clubs they represent
