Athletics in most of its history, turned to competition, giving it little pedagogical knowledge, prevailing knowledge grounded in records, indexes and competitions. Thus, although it is considered a classic content of Physical Education, this modality is still not widespread in schools. The present study aimed to investigate possible progress in the teaching and learning of athletics in the State Schools of Bauru from the implementation of the Curriculum of the State of São Paulo for Teaching Physical Education. We attempted to checking the perspective of teachers and students, the changes in teaching and learning as well as difficulties encountered from the deployment. To that end, we conducted survey of the theoretical and practical alternatives developed by Physical Education teachers, about athletics theme, since the implementation of the Curriculum of the State of São Paulo for the Teaching of Physical Education in 2008, in seven (7) state schools in Bauru-Sao Paulo, randomly chosen, prioritizing different regions of the county. There was the purpose of investigating, through questionnaires, interviews (applied to teachers and students), what progress has been achieved with regard to the approach of collegiate athletics in the teaching/learning process, if there are difficulties, what are these and how they could be addressed in order to improve teaching and learning in school athletics. The collected data were analyzed comparatively, before and after implementation of the Curriculum of the State of São Paulo for Physical Education, gathering and specifying negative and/or positive aspects raised by teachers and students. It was concluded that the students' knowledge of the sport has increased, but the practice of sport is still far from being normal to them, doing so is necessary to include content from the earliest school years. Fundamentals of Theoretical Ecology and the principles governing ecosystems are discussed in relation to the anthropological concept of culture. These principles have been formed along with the development of Ecology and the advancement of other sciences not necessarily biologically based, such as Mathematics and Physics. A deeper understanding of Ecology in interdisciplinary projects is important because it is both a holistic Science, encompassing several disciplines of the field of knowledge, as a Science, whose principles can be applied to any other science. Its origin and evolution differ from modern sciences that emerged from Renaissance, because, taking place at the turn of the nineteenth to the twentieth century, developing itself along with the theories of systemic thinking at the beginning of this century, Ecology inspired this new thinking, culminating with the emergence of General Systems Theory in search of a "transdisciplinar" unification proposed by today's New Science. By applying the System Theory to the analysis of the behaviors of the individual and of the group, it is possible to approach the Agrarian Reform in a more comprehensive way.

A educação ambiental nos projetos político-pedagógicos das escolas municipais de ensino fundamental da cidade de Araraquara/SP

In this paper, we aim at describing and assessing Environmental Education in Pedagogical Policy Projects (PPP) drawn by eight elementary schools belonging to the city school network of the city of Araraquara, in the State of São Paulo, Brazil. A framework was designed to detail references to topics and activities related to the environment contained in the respective PPP. Next, the information obtained was recorded under two categories: a) content and activities, and b) theoretical background. It was found that, although seven out of the eight PPP studied pointed to work towards environment-related topics, they do not enable the theoretical and methodological grounds behind their programmed actions be identified.

A educação física no ensino médio em escolas particulares: as perspectivas de alunos, diretores, coordenadores e professores de educação física

Although physical education is regulated by law and recognized as a mandatory component of basic education class, which includes high school, there are many reports that these classes do not actually happen. Such evidence shows the situation experienced by the author of this study, which brought this research to the attention. Therefore, the objective was to investigate and understand the perspective of students, physical education teachers, principals and coordinators forward their ideas to this reality, about the high school physical education in private schools. The research made use of qualitative approach, guided by an exploratory study. The technique was undertaken to collect the questionnaire with open and closed questions, involving 263 students enrolled in high school of four schools in two cities in the state of Sao Paulo and also the director, coordinator and professor of physical education of each one of these institutions, resulting in 12 education professionals. The categories of analysis were defined as: 1. Regarding physical education in high school, 2. The occurrence of physical rducation in high school, 3. Content and dynamic strategies developed in class 4. Student participation in class. The results show that despite, although some schools have physical education classes, there are still many students who do not take them. This reveals a double challenge to the area, which is: although it is essential that such a curriculum component is included in the grades (respecting the regional law legal system) that is not enough students that actually participate in it. As teachers, coordinators and directors recognize the importance of effective physical education, there are numerous of factors that deserve consideration to better understand this reality. Content belonging to the movement's body culture and inserted in Official Documents such as National Curriculum Parameters and Curriculum of the state of Sao Paulo, Gymnastics, was object of this Course Conclusion Paper. After the reality of more then 20 years of researches pointing to a distancing of Gymnastics content in School Physical Education, this study aims to understand and analyze the experience with Gymnastics contents during the middle and High School in Physical Education classes, having as perspective the view of students in the third year of high school from state schools in the city of Rio Claro-SP. Participated in this study 97 students from eleven state schools in the city. O estudo de matemática nas salas de recursos de escolas do ensino fundamental

Conforme a Declaração de Salamanca, toda criança tem direito fundamental à educação, em particular aquelas com deficiência. Para atender a esta recomendação, os Estados e Municípios brasileiros instalaram salas de recursos (salas para atendimento especial) em diversas escolas. Esta pesquisa vem apresentar uma análise do trabalho realizado com alunos com deficiência nas Salas de Recurso de escolas da cidade de Rio Claro, focando o ensino de matemática. Foi feito um levantamento das escolas que possuem estas salas e cinco delas foram selecionadas para a realização de entrevistas com os professores especialistas. O objetivo foi conversar sobre as dificuldades e potencialidades deste tipo de atendimento especializado, no que diz respeito à matemática. Estilo de liderança e stress: uma pesquisa em escolas estaduais de ensino fundamental

This survey attempted to find out whether or not the management styles adopted by schools can be associated with teacher stress. The study considered 175 teachers working with 1st‑to 4th grades in twelve public schools. The instruments first identified the leadership style predominant in the schools, then sought to identify the presence of stress in the teachers. Although stress was present in the majority of the teachers, an association with specific management styles could not be confirmed. This can be linked to the fact that the stress was already present in the teachers and did not allow the identification of additional influence by the schools’ leadership style

O desafio da interação no ensino de língua estrangeira em cursos on-line e presenciais nas escolas públicas paulistas

La popularización de los medios digitales y los recursos de comunicación difunde las narrativas no lineales y agrava la crisis de la enseñanza en el aula, con la expansión de diferentes modelos presenciales virtuales de la educación (PVE). Es evidente la demasificación de los nuevos medios, en un contexto que agudiza la percepción individual y social de los individuos, que son atraídos por el enorme flujo global de mensajes informativos (BRIGGS; BURKE, 2006). La transición de los métodos de enseñanza en el aula para modelar la educación virtual e interactiva ganó un nuevo formato en la educación pública en São Paulo en 2012, con el lanzamiento de cursos electivos de enseñanza de Inglés y Español para estudiantes de la secundaria, con la mediación de el PC y con el contenido producido por la Escuela Virtual de Programas Educativos del Estado de São Paulo - Evesp. Aún continua presencia en los salones de las grandes clases del sistema escolar, la falta de materiales de enseñanza y aprendizaje adecuados en las clases impartidas por los profesores cuyos repertorios están alejados de la vida cotidiana de los estudiantes. En este contexto, se comprueban las actuaciones de aprendizaje cualitativos más bien negativos de las cuatro habilidades comunicativas: escuchar, hablar, leer y escribir (CAMERON, 2001). La investigación que llevamos a cabo es analizar las experiencias de enseñanza de Inglés y Español en la plataforma computarizada Evesp y de la clase de Inglés y Español de los Centros para el Curso de idiomas (CELS), para la escuela secundaria, y el piloto Early Bird, de enseñanza y el aprendizaje de Inglés de la escuela primaria, todos bajo la Junta de Educación de Bauru (SP).
