Pragmatismo e Semiótica de Peirce na organização da informação

Semiotics, as well as its theoretical root, Pragmatism, are associated with the figure of the logical and the American philosopher Charles Sanders Peirce (1839- 1914). Between Pragmatism and Semiotics, there is an embryonic link, and this connection should not be ignored when reflecting on their theoretical contributions the Information Science and, specifically, to knowledge organization. Initially, the relationship between Pragmatism and Semiotics of C. S. Peirce is explored. Subsequently, two contributions of Peirce, both fundamental to understand some aspects of the organization of information and knowledge, are carefully discussed.

O pragmatismo em Kaiser e Ranganathan e o pioneirismo na construção do método analítico-sintético

Considering that Julius Kaiser´s Systematic Indexing brought pioneer contributions to the theoretical framework of the subject approach to information, this paper retrieves the foundations of the analiticalsynthetic method conceived by Kaiser which acted as a basis for Ranganathan’s faceted theory. In this sense, and by adopting William James’ pragmatism as a methodological approach, it analyzes the analitical and sintetic dimensions of Kaiser´s indexing method and in what extent they act as a basis for the definition of Ranganathan´s method, as well as how both Kaiser´s and Raganathan´s methods dialogue each other.

Desafios da formação docente no curso de Pedagogia: aligeiramento e pragmatismo

This paper analyzes recent policies of teacher eduation in Brazil related to the employment and professional dimmensions of the teaching career. It analyzes teacher education policies, and the guidelines established by the World Bank in the 1990s, to reform higher education in the so-called developing countries, focusing on th implementation of neolibera educational policies. These policies have produced a "new" value for educational insititutions: they are emptying schools of education; “defertilization” of schools; “deintellectualization” of the teacher profession; pauperization, fragmentation and emptying the contents teacher education programs and recontextualization of the nexus theory-practice. The reforms after the Directives and Bases of Education - Law No. 9394/1996, with respect to the education of teachers, are analyzed in relation to the process of productive restructuring. We analyze the relation between theory and practice, given the National Curriculum Guidelines for the Education Course (DCNCP, 2006), focusing on the Course of Pedagogy for the Faculty of Philosophy and Science, at the Paulista State University, Campus of Marilia. This course offers an extensive practical training, but restricted as to the academic content offered, limiting the possibilities of an in-depth training for the future teachers. Discussing these relations, this article presents the assessment of the students in the course and concludes offering perspectives for a humanizing and critical training.

O valor probatório dos documentos contábeis eletrônicos no ordenamento jurídico brasileiro

El trabajo analiza la caducidad probatoria atribuida por el ordenamiento jurídico brasileño a los documentos contables. Se analizan los cambios ocurridos en la legislación brasileña durante la década de 2000, con respecto a la legitimación jurídica del uso de documentos contables electrónicos. La legislación brasileña ha sufrido cambios considerables en cuanto a los documentos contables electrónicos principalmente a partir de 2007, con el advenimiento del Sistema Público de Escritura Digital (Sped). El ordenamiento jurídico brasileño se encuentra en un período de transición. Hay diferentes interpretaciones respecto a los mecanismos previstos por este ordenamiento en cuanto a la seguridad de las informaciones contables almacenadas en el medio digital. Es necesario analizar la seguridad y los límites de la utilización de documentos contables electrónicos.

Considering the context that integrates the internet and the information, the present paper has aimed to analyze the content from the juridical portal named Migalhas, more specifically the daily information–newsletter that is sent to its readers. Starting by the passage on the pathway of the internet, cyber culture and web journalism, and some concepts of news production, it is aimed to describe and evaluate, from the content of the proposed analyzes by Laurence Bardin, about general aspects, strategies and bulletin samples. Bringing a little of its history and description of the journalistic and news main points. The present paper approaches how these criteria, news value, and tools are chosen and used to reach the effectiveness of the proposal to take specific and fast information to the readers. Questions regarded to the opinionated character from the content were also stated as a way to evaluate its expressiveness
