Die Beiträge greifen "den Wandel von einer Lehr- hin zu einer Lernkultur" auf und konzentrieren sich dabei auf "zwei Indikatoren dieses Wandels: die Einführung von Lerntagebüchern und die Implementierung von Portfolios im Bildungsbereich, und zwar im schulischen Unterricht, in der Lehrer-Grundausbildung sowie in der Weiterbildung. Der Lerntagebuch- und Portfolio-Ansatz implizieren eine bestimmte Haltung gegenüber dem Lernen und Lehren. Der Einsatz von Tagebüchern und Portfolios führt Lehrende dazu, ihren Unterricht für neue Zugänge zu öffnen und ihre Rolle als Lernbegleiter/innen und -berater/innen zu professionalisieren. Andererseits erfordern Tagebücher und Portfolios von Lernenden eine aktive, selbstreflexive und eigenverantwortliche Auseinandersetzung mit ihrem Lernprozess. In diesem Band werden zum einen praxisbezogene Erfahrungen, zum anderen aktuelle Erkenntnisse aus der Forschung zum Potenzial des Lerntagebuch- und Portfolio-Ansatzes präsentiert. Jeweils drei bis fünf Beiträge zum Kontext Schule, Hochschule und Weiterbildung sind drei Hauptteilen zugeordnet: 1. Grundüberlegungen zur neuen Lernkultur und zur Arbeit mit Lerntagebuch bzw. Portfolio; 2. Lerntagebücher in Forschung und Praxis; 3. Portfolios in Forschung und Praxis.

In January 2011 some fifty scholars from different parts of Europe met in Groningen, the Netherlands for an expert meeting entitled Gender in theology and religion: a success story?! to analyze the factors that contribute to the successful mainstreaming of gender in a theological discipline and to reflect on the future of gender studies in theology and religious studies. Different speakers highlighted the many successes of gender studies in theology and religious studies: its power to 'trouble' the disciplines and their heuristic categories; its contribution to the development of other disciplines such as queer studies and postcolonial studies; the many PhD studies produced; the number of significant publications that had appeared over the last years. All indicate that gender studies in theology and religious studies have matured. But the participants also pointed towards the ambiguity of the success of gender studies in the academy: the indeterminacy of the institutional position and positions of gender studies in the theological disciplines in seminaries, departments faculties and universities; the lack of male scholars’ engagement in gender studies, which is expressed by their absence in these studies and/or the low reception of gender studies publications in their disciplines. Both ambiguities represent a danger for the future of gender studies, according to the participants in the meeting. In order to further the success of gender in theology and religion they formulated the following recommendations: to analyze the position of these studies in their institutions from the perspective of the implied audience (church, academy, ordinary theologians); engage men in gender studies; embrace the cultural turn in religious studies; develop interdisciplinary cooperations with gender studies in the humanities; engage creatively with the changing role of religion in contemporary society; analyze whose perspective one follows and authorizes in the perception of theology, religious studies and gender studies themselves; record the history of women’s and gender studies in theology and religion, and honor and celebrate the successes.

The International GNSS Service (IGS) provides operational products for the GPS and GLONASS constellation. Homogeneously processed time series of parameters from the IGS are only available for GPS. Reprocessed GLONASS series are provided only by individual Analysis Centers (i. e. CODE and ESA), making it difficult to fully include the GLONASS system into a rigorous GNSS analysis. In view of the increasing number of active GLONASS satellites and a steadily growing number of GPS+GLONASS-tracking stations available over the past few years, Technische Universität Dresden, Technische Universität München, Universität Bern and Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich performed a combined reprocessing of GPS and GLONASS observations. Also, SLR observations to GPS and GLONASS are included in this reprocessing effort. Here, we show only SLR results from a GNSS orbit validation. In total, 18 years of data (1994–2011) have been processed from altogether 340 GNSS and 70 SLR stations. The use of GLONASS observations in addition to GPS has no impact on the estimated linear terrestrial reference frame parameters. However, daily station positions show an RMS reduction of 0.3 mm on average for the height component when additional GLONASS observations can be used for the time series determination. Analyzing satellite orbit overlaps, the rigorous combination of GPS and GLONASS neither improves nor degrades the GPS orbit precision. For GLONASS, however, the quality of the microwave-derived GLONASS orbits improves due to the combination. These findings are confirmed using independent SLR observations for a GNSS orbit validation. In comparison to previous studies, mean SLR biases for satellites GPS-35 and GPS-36 could be reduced in magnitude from −35 and −38 mm to −12 and −13 mm, respectively. Our results show that remaining SLR biases depend on the satellite type and the use of coated or uncoated retro-reflectors. For Earth rotation parameters, the increasing number of GLONASS satellites and tracking stations over the past few years leads to differences between GPS-only and GPS+GLONASS combined solutions which are most pronounced in the pole rate estimates with maximum 0.2 mas/day in magnitude. At the same time, the difference between GLONASS-only and combined solutions decreases. Derived GNSS orbits are used to estimate combined GPS+GLONASS satellite clocks, with first results presented in this paper. Phase observation residuals from a precise point positioning are at the level of 2 mm and particularly reveal poorly modeled yaw maneuver periods.
