(Résumé de l'ouvrage) Les recherches sur l'historiographie de l'Église primitive se sont multipliées depuis des temps récents, en France comme à l'étranger, et de grands projets d'édition et de traduction arrivent actuellement à leur terme. Il a donc semblé utile de faire le point sur les travaux en cours, qu'ils aient été entrepris par des historiens de l'Antiquité tardive ou par des philologues, latinistes, hellénistes et orientalistes, par des théologiens ou par des exégètes, et d'engager une réflexion sur la manière dont s'écrivait l'histoire de l'Église et dont l'Église pensait ses origines et sa propre histoire. C'est l'ensemble de leurs travaux qui se trouve présenté dans ce volume, dont la problématique correspond à une actualité à la fois médiatique, historique et religieuse, puisque se célèbre cette année le deuxième millénaire de l'ère chrétienne - tant il est vrai que toute réflexion sur le passé est aussi (et avant tout ?) une réflexion sur le présent et sur l'avenir.

Desenvolvimento de Rhodnius pictipes Stal, 1872 alimentado através de membrana de silicone e em camundongos (Hemiptera, Reduviidae, Triatominae)

Rhodnius pictipes (Hemiptera, Reduviidae) from Serra Norte, State of Pará, Brazil, aclimatized in an insectary at the Laboratório Nacional e Internacional de Referência em Taxonomia de Triatomíneos, Departamento de Entomologia, Instituto Oswaldo Cruz, were fed through a silicone membrane. In order to know the viability and the efficiency of this membrane compared with insects fed on mice, the number of bloodmeals taken, period of development of the five nymphal instars, longevity of adults, average amount of blood intake in each meal and percent of mortality were observed. A total of 310 insects, were used, comprising 50 nymphs of each instar, as well as 30 male and 30 female adults. Insects fed artificially had reduced minimal and maximal periods of development than the group fed on mice. The largest relative increase of body weight was observed in the 2nd instar followed by the 1st, and the amount of blood ingested increased during the development, to the 5th instar for both groups. There were no significant differences between the groups fed artificially and in vivo according to Tukey's test for p>0.05. The percent of mortality in the 1st instar was 18% for artificially fed and 16% for the group fed on mice; these percentages decreased as insects developed until the 4th instar, without mortality, returning to increase in the 5th instar. R. pictipes was shown to be easily adaptable to artificial feeding, and could be considered as an important and viable experimental model.

Maurice Blanchot: autonomie et responsabilité (1944-1948)

RÉSUMÉ En conjuguant les méthodes de l'histoire littéraire, de la sociologie des champs et de l'analyse littéraire, ce mémoire se propose d'étudier l'élaboration de la « posture » de Maurice Blanchot dans l'immédiat après-guerre (1944-1948). Le passé de Blanchot, marqué par des positions politiques d'extrême droite dans les années 30, et dans une certaine mesure encore sous l'Occupation, le conduit à un repositionnement conséquent dans le champ littéraire de la Libération marqué par l'Epuration des écrivains collaborateurs. Ce repositionnement se traduit par l'élaboration de la « posture » de l'écrivain en retrait, qui se présente comme la manifestation d'une autonomie littéraire radicale. Toutefois, cette posture du retrait demeure une forme de participation au champ littéraire et Blanchot, malgré sa volonté d'une parfaite autonomie de son oeuvre vis-à-vis des impératifs économiques ou idéologiques du temps, n'en est pas moins amené à réélaborer ses postulats critiques de même que sa production proprement dite (Le Très-Haut, L'Arrêt de mort), en interaction avec les nouvelles forces dominantes du champ littéraire de la Libération. Il est notamment conduit à se positionner vis-à-vis de la nouvelle avant-garde qui a émergé de la Résistance, dominée par Sartre et ses Temps Modernes, qui promeut un nouveau modèle, celui de l'écrivain engagé.

Rhodnius amazonicus Almeida, Santos & Sposina, 1973, Bona Species, Close to R. pictipes Stål, 1872 (Heteroptera, Reduviidae, Triatominae)

The discovery of two atypical specimens of Rhodnius pictipes Stål, 1872 in French Guiana and the examination of the female holotype of R. amazonicus Almeida, Santos & Sposina, 1973, the only specimen of this species so far known, lead us to propose the rehabilitation of R. amazonicus synonymized with R. pictipes. The male is described for the first time and the female redescribed. Both external characters and genitalia distinguish R. amazonicus from R. pictipes. R. amazonicus shows affinities not only with pictipes but also with R. stali Lent, Jurberg & Galvão, 1993 and R. paraensis Sherlock, Guitton & Miles, 1977. A key is provided for these four species forming, in all likelihood, a natural group, i.e. the "pictipes group".

Report on Symphysiotomy in Ireland 1944-1984 - Professor Oonagh Walsh

This Final Report is the culmination of a two-stage process aimed at fulfilling the request of the previous Minister for Health and Children (Mary Harney) in relation to the practice of symphysiotomy in Ireland. Development of genital plates in nymphs of Triatoma pallidipennis, Stål 1872, (Hemiptera: Reduviidae) and its application as sexing method

Searching for morphometric differences between sexes in immature forms, the development of genital plates in the exuviae of Triatoma pallidipennis Stål 1872nymphs was studied. Differences were found in the form and size of the 9th genital urosternite, it is larger and wider in males as compared to females. This difference is reported in several South American Triatoma species. From our results it is possible to sex early stages from microscopic observation of genital plates in whole insects.
