El constructivismo ruso se define como una práctica artística que respondió a las demandas sociales y culturales de una nueva sociedad. Se desarrolló como movimiento vanguardista que se propuso realizar un programa de vinculación de la obra artística con la vida, dejando atrás las formas del arte burgués y abriendo nuevas posibilidades a las funciones del arte en las condiciones sociales de la Revolución. El presente trabajo se propone la actualización de ese legado, me-diante apropiaciones irónicas de algunos de sus productos, en relación con las representaciones del heroísmo y el triunfalismo, del héroe y las masas, en los procesos políticos y culturales de la actualidad. En la medida que ese género de lenguaje ha sido utilizado en otros contex-tos, y las formulas constructivistas desbordan su enclave original en otras coor-denadas geopolíticas, este proyecto procura aprovechar las formulaciones ideoestéticas que fueron sustento de las propuestas constructivistas y productivis-tas al respecto de las experimentaciones del fotomontaje, la faktura y la factogra-fia.

El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo dar a conocer Objetos de Aprendizaje, como un recurso tecnológico, que sirva de soporte a la educación y que contribuya en la enseñanza de las Inecuaciones de primer grado. Para realizar este proyecto se han planteado cinco capítulos de desarrollo: En el capítulo uno se realiza una investigación bibliográfica donde se describe la Educación, orientándola hacia el constructivismo, que centra al estudiante como constructor de su conocimiento y la importancia de usar material didáctico apto para desarrollar sus habilidades. En el capítulo dos se desarrolla el tema de Inecuaciones de primer grado, dividiéndolo en cuatro subtemas: Inecuaciones de primer grado con una y dos incógnitas, intervalos de solución y sistemas de inecuaciones. En el capítulo tres se presenta un análisis a los recursos educativos de libre acceso en diferentes sitios web, dónde se evidencia el desarrollo de plataformas que buscan consolidar los aprendizajes. En el capítulo cuatro se desarrolla el diseño de los cuatro Objetos de Aprendizaje; a partir de su metodología para la estructuración; además se usará guías para su organización. Y finalmente en el capítulo cinco se aprecia el interés que producen los Objetos de Aprendizaje, en los estudiantes de Noveno de EGB. Permitiendo observar que este recurso fortalece el aprendizaje de forma divertida e interactiva; dando apertura al uso de instrumentos multimedia como material de autoformación.

El presente trabajo titulado “Guía Didáctica de Rúbricas de Evaluación para el Bloque Uno de Números y Funciones, dirigida a docentes de matemática de Segundo Año de Bachillerato” ha sido diseñado con la intención de fortalecer el proceso de evaluación a través de la utilización de un nuevo instrumento, la rúbrica; con el objetivo de facilitarla tarea evaluadora del docente. En el primer capítulo, se da a conocer de manera general los cambios que ha sufrido la educación en los últimos años, la necesidad de conocer y relacionar las corrientes pedagógicas innovadoras como el constructivismo y la teoría del aprendizaje significativo con la evaluación del proceso educativo, la didáctica en el ámbito de la matemática, y la implementación de guías didácticas y rúbricas como instrumentos de apoyo para el docente. En el segundo capítulo se busca dar sustento a la propuesta mediante la aplicación de una encuesta, en la cual se evidenciala falta de instrumentos de evaluación que rompan el estigma de la utilización únicamente de pruebas en este proceso, además la factibilidad del uso de una guía didáctica de rúbricas para la matemática. Finalmente, en el tercer capítulo se presentan20 modelos de rúbricas holísticas y analíticas desarrolladas por cada actividad, referidas al Bloque Uno de “Números y Funciones” en base a las Destrezas con Criterio de Desempeño de acuerdo a lo que se establece en el Currículo del sistema educativo ecuatoriano.

Este estudo pretendeu pesquisar acerca da influência do cinema histórico de ficção na construção do conhecimento histórico de alunos de História A do Ensino Secundário. Foi realizado com uma turma do 10º ano de escolaridade de 20 alunos e foi antecedido de um estudo prévio. O trabalho baseou-se no visionamento do filme "O Gladiador" e na realização de fichas de trabalho: a "Ficha de Enquadramento Histórico do Filme", para contextualizar a época histórica em que decorria o filme; a "Ficha de Análise do Filme”, para recolha de dados e finalmente a "Ficha de Trabalho de Comparação entre Fontes Históricas e o Filme". As respostas fornecidas pelos alunos foram organizadas em categorias. Para as perguntas que pediam uma resposta mais directa e simples foram criadas três categorias: básica primária, básica secundária e definição elaborada. Para as perguntas que exigiam uma resposta mais complexa criaram-se cinco categorias: incoerente, básica primária, básica secundária, definição emergente e definição elaborada. As principais conclusões foram: a) o cinema de ficção desempenha um importante contributo na construção do conhecimento histórico dos alunos do ensino secundário; b) o visionamento de filmes de ficção na aula de História deve ser acompanhado com o confronto de fontes históricas para os alunos distinguirem ficção de conhecimento histórico; c) o cinema desempenha um papel muito importante no desenvolvimento das competências específicas de História do Ensino Secundário e do espírito crítico dos alunos; entre outras. / ABSTRACT: This study aimed to understand the influence of historical fiction movies in historical knowledge of students in History of Secondary Education. The study was conducted with a group of 20 students of the 1O th grade and was preceded by a preliminary study. The work was based on viewing the film Gladiator and on worksheets: A "Historical Background" to contextualize the historical era of the movie, the "The analysis of the Movie" to collect data and finally the “Comparison of Historical Sources and movie” worksheet to analyze distinguish fiction from historical knowledge. The responses given by students were categorized: for questions that asked for a more direct and simple answer were created three categories: Basic; Primary; Definition elaborated. For questions requiring a more complex answer were created five categories Incoherent; Basic; Primary; Emergent and Elaborated. The main conclusions were: a) the film fiction has an important contribution to historical knowledge of secondary school students, b) using films in history lessons should be accompanied with a comparison of historical sources for students to distinguish fiction from historical knowledge, c) the film plays an important role in the development of specific skills for the History of Secondary Education and the students' critical thinking, among others.

For many years, battles raged between those who saw knowledge as perception of a given reality and those who saw it as being constructed through rational activity. More recently, epistemological debates have focused on that activity being essentially individual or social. Initially, the International Group for the Psychology of Mathematics Education (PME) was heavily influenced by the idea that mathematical knowledge is constructed by individuals, and particularly by von Glasersfeld’s “radical” constructivism. The social constructivist thesis that mathematics is a social construction challenged this dominant notion, but Steve Lerman critiqued the “shared consciousness” interpretation of social constructivism and articulated the sociocultural idea of the centrality of social interactions. His influence led a strong turn to the social, with a focus on intersubjectivity in mathematical knowledge and mathematics learning. Steve not only challenged individual people’s ideas but also drew PME into a position where sociocultural and other poststructural theories are in regular use.

Understanding Curriculum: An Australian Context encourages readers to reflect on how curriculum theory can enhance classroom practice. This book provides a critical introduction to contemporary curriculum theory and practice, outlining both traditional and progressive approaches in order to reconceptualise curriculum. Drawing on a range of perspectives, including behaviourism, constructivism and critical theory, it considers questions of curriculum ownership and culture. It explores technology, gender, equity and diversity, and Indigenous issues in depth. Key principles and debates are brought to life in each chapter through reflective questions and vignettes. Every day, teachers make countless judgements and decisions about the best learning experiences for their students. The authors show how understanding curriculum through different lenses can uncover habits and prejudices that may inhibit good teaching, and can enhance the value of the learning experiences offered to students.

The aim of this study is to understand how parents manage the risk of child sexual abuse, including prevention as well as early intervention and detection strategies. Using a social constructivist theoretical foundation and grounded theory methods, qualitative in-depth interviews were conducted with Australian parents between 2006 and 2008. Based on the data, a balance theory was developed, which explains how parents attempt to balance the type of information given to children in order to protect their children from sexual abuse without scaring them as well as how parents manage sexual boundary crossing incidents experienced by their children in the context of complex social relationships. Implications for prevention programs as well as reporting of child sexual abuse are discussed.

BACKGROUND OR CONTEXT: A developing international engineering industry is dependent on competition and innovation, creating a market for highly skilled graduates from respected overseas and Australian Engineering universities. The delivery of engineering teaching and learning via blended faceto-face, problem based, research focused and online collaborative learning will continue to be the foundation of future engineering education, however, it will be those institutions who can reshape its learning spaces within a culture of innovation using 1:1 devices that will continue to attract the brightest minds. Investing in educational research that explores the preferred learning styles of learners and matching this to specifically designed 1:1 personalized web applications may be the ‘value add’ to improve student engagement. In this paper, a survey of Australian engineering education is presented and contrasted against a backdrop of internationally recognised educational pedagogy to demonstrate how engineering teaching and learning has changed over time. This paper draws on research and identifies a gap where a necessity to question the validity of 1:1 devices as the next step in the evolution of engineering education needs to be undertaken. How will teaching and learning look using 1:1 devices and will it drive student demand into engineering higher
education courses. Will this lead to improving professional standards within a dynamic engineering education context? How will current and future teaching and learning be influenced by constructivism using 1:1 device technologies? How will the engineering industry benefit from higher education investment in individualised engineering education
using 1:1 devices for teaching and learning?
PURPOSE OR GOAL: To review the current academic thinking around the topic of 1:1 devices within higher education engineering teaching and learning context in Australia. To identify any gaps in the current understandings and use of 1:1 devices within engineering courses in Australia. To generate discussion and better understanding about how the use of 1:1 devices may hinder and/or improve teaching and learning and student engagement.
APPROACH: A review covering the development of engineering education in Australia and a broader international review of engineering teaching methodology. To identify the extent of research into the use and effectiveness of online strategies within engineering education utilising 1:1 devices for teaching and learning. i.e. “Students must feel that they are part of a learning community and derive motivation to engage in the study material from the lecturer.’ (Lloyd et al., 2001) It is proposed to add to the current body of understandings and explore the effectiveness of a constructiveness teaching approach using course material specifically designed to cater for individual learning styles and delivered via the use of 1:1 devices in the classroom. It is anticipated the research will contrast current engineering teaching and learning practices and identify factors that will facilitate a greater understanding about student connectedness and engagement with the teaching and learning experience; where a constructiveness environment is supported with the use of 1:1 devices. Also, it is anticipated that the constructed learning environment will foster a culture of innovation and students will be empowered to take control of their own learning and be encouraged to contribute back to the discussion initiated by the lecture and/or course material with the aid of 1:1 device technologies. A gap has been identified in the academic literature that show there is a need to understand the relationship between engineering teaching, learning, students engagement and the use of 1:1 devices.

RECOMMENDATIONS/IMPLICATIONS/CONCLUSION: A gap exists in the current research about the effectiveness and use of 1:1 devices in engineering education; therefore, it is necessary to undertake further research in the area. It is proposed to hypothesize and conduct field research to identify any shortcomings and possible benefits for engineering educators and learners within a constructivist-teaching
context that explores the relationship between the use of personalized 1:1 devices for teaching and learning, adapting for individual learning styles, and identification and application of appropriate teaching and learning strategies within a constructiveness engineering course approach. Research is required to clarify the following research questions;
• What education teaching and learning strategies best facilitate the use of 1:1 devices for online teaching and learning?
• Does student engagement improve when 1:1 device technologies are used and adapted to cater for individual learning styles during online delivery of engineering courses?
• What are the factors within a university engineering faculty that may hinder and/or support the use of 1:1 devices for online teaching and learning?
• To what extent do 1:1 devices assist engineering educators and students to foster a culture of innovation? The study results will offer engineering educators and students an opportunity to reflect on
their current teaching and learning practice, and contextualise the use of 1:1 devices as a tool to improve student engagement. It is expected the learning benefits will outweigh the implementation costs and derive a unique learning experience that will empower engineering educators and students to inspire a culture of innovation.

China’s emergence as an economic powerhouse has often been portrayed as threatening to America’s economic strength and to its very identity as “the global hegemon.” The media’s alarmist response to an economic competitor is familiar to those who remember US-Japanese relations in the 1980s. In order to better understand the basis of American threat perception, this study explores the independent and interactive impact of three variables (perceptions of the Other’s capabilities, perceptions of the Other as a threat versus as an opportunity, and perceptions of the Other’s political culture) on attitudes toward two different economic competitors (Japan 1977-1995 and China 1985-2011). Utilizing four methods (historical process tracing, public polling data analysis, social scientific experimentation, and content analysis), this study demonstrates that increases in the Other’s economic capabilities have a much smaller impact on attitudes than is commonly believed. It further shows that while perceptions of threat/opportunity played a significant role in shaping attitudinal response toward Japan, perceptions of political culture are the most important factor driving attitudes toward China today. This study contributes to a better understanding of how states react to threats and construct negative images of their economic rivals. It also helps to explain the current Sino-American relationship and enables better predictions as to its potential future course. Finally, these findings contribute to cultural explanations of the democratic peace phenomenon and provide a boundary condition (political culture) for the liberal proposition that opportunity ameliorates conflict in the economic realm.

Ce mémoire s’intéresse aux apports possibles de la biomécanique meyerholdienne à l’expression théâtrale et plastique du slam de poésie, l’objectif initial de la recherche consistant à bonifier et à développer l’expression tant gestuelle que vocale du poète performant son texte à slamer. Il s’agissait donc, à travers le processus de recherche-création proposé, de conduire une série de laboratoires et d’expérimentations théâtrales afin de développer Panpan!, un spectacle expérimental hybridant à la fois biomécanique et slam de poésie. Des multiples expériences nécessaires à la réalisation de ce court spectacle, j’ai dégagé une série d’outils théoriques et pratiques, que j’ai ensuite exposés en profondeur dans cet essai. En annexe, le lecteur trouvera également l’ensemble de mes outils de travail, développés au fil de ma pratique expérimentale et ayant permis tant la réalisation de Panpan! que la découverte et l’étude des principes théoriques et pratiques dont fait état ma recherche. Introduction: Knowledge transfer in pediatric rehabilitation is challenging and requires active, multifaceted strategies. The use of knowledge brokers (KBs) is one such strategy noted to promote clinician behavior change. The success of using KBs to transfer knowledge relies on their ability to adapt to ever-changing clinical contexts. In addition, with the rapid growth of online platforms as knowledge transfer forums, KBs must become effective in virtual environments. Although the role of KBs has been studied in various clinical contexts, their emerging role in specific online environments designed to support evidence-based behavior change has not yet been described. Our objective is to describe the roles of, and strategies used by, four KBs involved in a virtual community of practice to guide and inform future online KB interventions. Methods: A descriptive design guided this study and a thematic content analysis process was used to analyze online KB postings. The Promoting Action on Research in Health Sciences knowledge transfer framework and online andragogical learning theories assisted in the coding. A thematic map was created illustrating the links between KBs' strategies and emerging roles in the virtual environment. Results: We analyzed 95 posts and identified three roles: 1) context architect: promoting a respectful learning environment, 2) knowledge sharing promoter: building capacity, and 3) linkage creator: connecting research-to-practice. Strategies used by KBs reflected invitational, constructivism, and connectivism approaches, with roles and strategies changing over time. Discussion: This study increases our understanding of the actions of KBs in virtual contexts to foster uptake of research evidence in pediatric physiotherapy. Our results provide valuable information about the knowledge and skills required by individuals to fulfill this role in virtual environments.
