Manuais Didáticos e literatura infantil: as leituras infantis no Brasil e em Portugal

The school textbook is an important pedagogic resource in the classroom, and it is frequently the only one. But, an analysis of the Maternal Language’s textbooks in Brazil and in Portugal allowed us to detect serious didactic obstacles to the learning of the language in its semiotic omnifuncionality. In this paper we are going to present the results of a project that involves the presence of a children’s literature book in the classroom instead of the textbook adaptations. We developed activities before, during and after the reading in a fourth grade class of an Elementary School in Brazil and Portugal having the aim of build readers.

Hip hop na escola: para além da proposta curricular do Estado de São Paulo

Since 2008 the Department of Education of the State of São Paulo implemented the curriculum for elementary and high school. Within the discipline of Physical Education, Hip Hop appears as a theme for the ninth year pertaining to the content of rhythmic activities. However, there seems to be difficulties of teachers and their training against such content. Therefore, this research has developed a textbook to support didactic teaching for physical education teacher about Hip Hop in school. For this we conducted a literature review, which were selected several studies that sought to investigate the main difficulties of the physical education teachers, as well as those who had the Hip Hop theme, so that the material could meet the real difficulties of these professionals. Furthermore, we analyzed textbooks from other disciplines will be considered as the experiences of the researcher with the contents of dancing. Thus, we found some difficulties in the analysis of textbooks in the area of Physical Education, since there is a certain shortage of materials, as well as related specifically to Hip Hop. From the investigations, the book was prepared by selecting subtopics important to treat this content teachers in the school, for example, the story, the basic features and steps. It is understood, therefore, that this type of work is very important for Physical Education Teachers considering the difficulties facing the contents of Hip Hop and can contribute more effectively to their inclusion in the school context

Calor e temperatura: uma revisão dos conceitos nas diferentes abordagens físicas

This work research and analyses the formulations and concepts of heat and temperature presented in Physics textbooks. These issues are deemed important because students often have difficulties differentiating and understanding such concepts, which compromises their education. The goal is to show that well-established relationships between Physical quantities such as energy, pressure, heat and temperature, even in different theories of Classical and Quantum Physics are not enough to define either temperature or heat. It also presents simple experiments that complement the teaching and learning of these concepts

A noção de campo elétrico: reflexões de uma futura professora sobre o processo de ensino

This work offers an overview about didactic reflections in the introduction of the electrical field concept in Physics Teaching activities aimed to the High School by means of a teaching methodology based in a low cost experiment (FERREIRA E RAMOS, 2008). We analyzed the particular use of an experiment named electrostatic vector and its use in the teaching of the line force ideas, proposed by Faraday in 19th century. In the frame of this work we analyzed how this unconventional approach differs of the methodology generally presented in the didactic textbooks. We discussed that the use of low cost experiments, will not cause the student to learn, but the work of the teacher, offering an interaction between the student and the electrostatic vector, play an important role in the classroom

Experimentação e educação ambiental: contribuições metodológicas

During the last centuries, the human being have been considered the center of the universe. The man believed that nature was at his disposal. Appropriated their processes, their cycles changed, redefined their spaces. Today, when faced with an environmental crisis which threatens the planet life, including the human life, the Science Education can contribute to a reconstruction of man-nature relationship in other terms. The transformation of teaching practices in the school environment, to be reflective, it is still a process that challenges the vast majority of teachers. As has been indicated by Guerra (2004), among others, the traditional teaching of content delivery is still very strong and certainly more deeply embedded in ideas and activities of the teachers who focus on environmental education. With it, a theory and pedagogical discourses in critical-reflexive actions is still a major obstacle. Therefore, new proposals for education and continuing education activities need to be formulated and presented based on the characteristics and needs breathing. Therefore propose changes in the way of teaching, where there is more room for a theory and praxis alone or with a only scientific truth. The scenery of society requires that knowledge is constructed to interconnect all disciplines, joining theory and practice so we can understand the whole and their relations in an integrated manner. It was proposed here a way to build a school and applying theoretical and practical activities involving experimental and seeking to meet the principles of Environmental Education for the training of citizens aware and critical. At the same time cares to use textbooks very rich in its pedagogical character that are present in schools and often are, forgotten and unused by teachers. A abordagem do voseo em materiais didáticos brasileiros de ensino do espanhol como língua estrangeira

This work discusses the importance of the language varieties in the Spanish language to the process of teaching and learning Spanish as a foreign language (ELE), focusing on the approach, ie, how to deal with the phenomenon voseo in Brazilian textbooks. It presents a brief historical overview on the arising of this language and its implementation in Latin America. From an educational approach that values a good development of communicative competence, it’s driven to a presentation of the Spanish schoolbooks selected by PNLD for the year 2012, as well as an observation of activities that demonstrate the phenomenon called voseo, in other words, the use of the variety of the pronoun vos instead of tú for the treatment of the second person. Given the vast range of Spanish courses as a foreign language for high school students, and the growing interest of young people in learning a second language, this study addresses the importance of developing the communicative competence of a foreign language

Estratégias de aplicação de softwares educativos como instrumentos para o ensino de física

The technological advances of recent decades combined with digital inc1usion in Brazil sparked the country's population to the constant use of computers to perform tasks in many different natures. Whether it's for communication, entertainment, work or school, computers are tools with increasing numbers in Brazilian homes. Along with this evolution the Brazilian Physics teaching should be aware of the use of teaching tools that relate directly to the computer to student learning. Highlighting in this work we have scanned the contents of the Wikipedia community, a wide variety of educational videos placed on YouTube, educational games that try to teach the player in a fun way and a variety educational softwares placed on the World Wide Web. It is with special attention to educational softwares as tools for teaching physics, which describe some strategies for use of these software, combined with the textbooks, to illustrate some ways to introduce the use of educational softwares directly in the classroom

Livro didático e educação física escolar: interlocuções e entrelaçamentos

This study aimed to analyze the relationships – some already established and others that are still necessary – between the obligatory curriculum component Physical Education and the textbooks, understood as materials that assist both teachers and students during the teaching and learning process. In this way, we focused the discussion on some topics that have enabled a greater understanding of textbooks for Education in general and for School Physical Education more specifically, taking into account their specific characteristics. There were also some understandings about School Physical Education in Brazilian contemporary society as well as some official regiments about this curriculum component. Finally, it was elaborated some propositions that seek to generate interlacements to a deeper comprehension about textbooks in Physical Education classes. We concluded that although there are (few) textbooks in the area and some curriculum proposals from different Brazilian States that quest new ways of conceiving the teaching and learning process of School Physical Education, it is important to have more understandings about the roles of these materials in the pedagogical practice, as well as studies that can enable ways to treat this curricular component that could contribute to the critical and reflective educational practice during the years of schooling in Basic Education

Fazendo conexões com o mundo real: uso de conceitos e modelos da física no contexto da zoologia

There are considerations of that the education of Physics of the way as comes being driven us textbooks and consequently in classroom, is distant and distorted of their real purpose. We notice that the education of this science through the Physical school discipline, has I assume a character of preparation for university entrance exams exercises resolution, exceling for the memorization of formulae and by the mathematical solutions, fact that looks to cause to it is lacking of motivation and to the disinterest of the students regarding his contents. Since we are surrounded by phenomena, events, elements of the nature, new technologies, objects and so many others that can be explained and many times until applied and/or reproduced by means of physical concepts, there is no reason for treat to Physical as somewhat academic and remote of the reality. The little interest of high school students by the discipline of Physics and their poor performance in the learning of his contents has led to the search of new paths, resources and strategies that promote a more meaningful learning. Taking into account these facts, we seek in this course conclusion work, observe, analyze and apply concepts of the Physical one in multiple elements of ours routine, doing use of the interdisciplinary nature as a possible mechanism. The animals exert a fascination on most people. Much of what we see in their way of being and behaving can be explained by the laws of Physics and its models. Their physique, behavior and activities involve diverse movements, communication and sensing as physical limitations varied. Zoologists and physicists build models in an attempt to explain or understand animal behavior using well-established physical principles. The creation of physical models is going to approach a problem, identifies the fundamental information and removing all of the irrelevant details. An example... Análise de condicionantes geológico-geotécnicos para o rompimento de pequenas e médias barragens de terra: estudo de caso na bacia do rio Jaguari Mirim no município de São João da Boa Vista, SP

The act of containing water is one of the most practiced by the civilizations along history, in the will to increase the offer of water to many uses. The raise of environmental worries surround many human activities has given a big attention to dams. Indeed, the environmental consequences about dams are proporcional to their size, what gives to the big dams a more detailed Project and a bigger political concerning that increases the built, estability and maintenance of them. Then, the projects of medium and small dams are weak, limitaded to handbooks, textbooks and empirical recommendations, while the constructions of small dams are growing everytime more. With that being said, the present work intends to analise the geological and geotechnical conditionants that can cause break of small earth dams by making a case study in the Jaguari Mirim Watershed, located in the city of São João da Boa Vista (SP), and can be used to encourage the concern with small dams. In the area of study were identificaded, from satellite images, 248 dams. The map of physiographical compartmentalization defined by Pilachevsky (2013) was used to define the locations in the study área that would have bigger risk to the break of dams. Then, 9 of this dams were analised in field research, using references made by Cerri, Reis e Giordano (2011) and the risk of the analised dams were defined. A study about this type of structure is highly necessary to avoid big damages. An analysis of the geological and geotechnical conditionants that can cause break of dams guides the project in a way to avoid adverse consequences, especially when integrated with locacional conditions observed in the place of the dam’s building

As orações concessivas nas gramáticas e nos livros didáticos do Ensino Fundamental: análises e novas propostas

This paper aims to discuss the approach of sentences concessive on grammars and teaching books in Portuguese in order to ascertain to what extent is closer or more distant from the description of sentences concessive in real interaction from the perspective of Functional Discourse Grammar. Were consulted normative grammars, descriptive and five textbooks used in primary schools. In some, the grant was not addressed, as in others, we note that, in general, have definitions which simply equate concessive clauses a concept syntactic and sometimes semantic, detaching it from the domain of pragmatic language. This level of analysis is not left out, however, by the prospect Functional Discourse, which analyzes the pragmatic as the broader component within which we analyze the semantics and syntax. From this point of view, we intend to propose new emphases in approach given the award by the grammars and the teaching materials.

As orações subordinadas substantivas em função de sujeito: questões de ensino

This paper attempts to answer how the descriptive analysis of the substantive subordination clauses made within the realm of academic research can contribute to the effective teaching of those structures in the Elementary School. After showing how the subordination has been treated in grammar school and textbooks and pointing at some recurring problems in the presentation of the subject, we present the treatment of subordinate clauses with the function of subject in two descriptive grammars of Portuguese, in order to ascertain to what extent the relevant aspects of the description of those clauses are related to the traditional way of teaching. From those descriptive works, we selected some functional features considered to be essential for the treatment of the subject in the Elementary School.
