Customer Experience Management (CEM) se ha convertido en un factor clave para el éxito de las empresas. CEM gestiona todas las experiencias que un cliente tiene con un proveedor de servicios o productos. Es muy importante saber como se siente un cliente en cada contacto y entonces poder sugerir automáticamente la próxima tarea a realizar, simplificando tareas realizadas por personas. En este proyecto se desarrolla una solución para evaluar experiencias. Primero se crean servicios web que clasifican experiencias en estados emocionales dependiendo del nivel de satisfacción, interés, … Esto es realizado a través de minería de textos. Se procesa y clasifica información no estructurada (documentos de texto) que representan o describen las experiencias. Se utilizan métodos de aprendizaje supervisado. Esta parte es desarrollada con una arquitectura orientada a servicios (SOA) para asegurar el uso de estándares y que los servicios sean accesibles por cualquier aplicación. Estos servicios son desplegados en un servidor de aplicaciones. En la segunda parte se desarrolla dos aplicaciones basadas en casos reales. En esta fase Cloud computing es clave. Se utiliza una plataforma de desarrollo en línea para crear toda la aplicación incluyendo tablas, objetos, lógica de negocio e interfaces de usuario. Finalmente los servicios de clasificación son integrados a la plataforma asegurando que las experiencias son evaluadas y que las tareas de seguimiento son automáticamente creadas.

Evidence Review 4 - Adult learning services Briefing 4 - Adult learning services This pair of documents, commissioned by Public Health England, and written by the UCL Institute of Health Equity, address the role of participation in learning as an adult in improving health. There is evidence that involvement in adult learning has both direct and indirect links with health, for example because it increases employability. There is some evidence that those who are lower down the social gradient benefit most, in health terms, from adult learning. However, there is a gradient both in participation in adult learning and skill level, whereby the more someone would benefit from adult learning, the less likely they are to participate, and the lower their literacy and numeracy skills are likely to be. This is due to a range of barriers, including prohibitively high costs, lack of personal confidence, or lack of availability and access. These papers also show that there are a number of actions local authorities can take to increase access to adult learning, improve quality of provision and increase the extent to which it is delivered and targeted proportionate to need. They aim to teach people where food comes from, appreciate seasonal diversity and environmental impacts of food, be confident in cooking and celebrate the role of food in our lives. The Food Garden Project is unique in bringing these two community groups together to work towards enhancing the participants' understanding of nutrition, healthy eating and self-sufficiency through growing fruit and vegetables and developing cookery skills. The Food Garden Projectâ?Ts aim is to support participants to grow, prepare and cook a range of fruit and vegetables throughout the year. There is also an emphasis on transferring these skills to their home life. The aim of the Food Garden Project is to support very marginalised and vulnerable individuals to grow, prepare and cook a range of healthy organic fruit and vegetables throughout the year. There is an emphasis on transferring these skills to their home life. L'estudi de les característiques de diversos dels CMS més emprats ens permetrà, a més, acostar-nos-hi d'una manera pràctica, atès que una part del treball inclou, després de la tria del CMS, la seva instal·lació en un servidor a Internet i la configuració pertinent per a adequar-lo als rols d'administradors, professors, estudiants, etc.

OER-based learning has the potential to overcome many shortcomings and problems of traditional education. It is not hampered by IP restrictions; can depend on collaborative, cumulative, iterative refinement of resources; and the digital form provides unprecedented flexibility with respect to configuration and delivery. The OER community is a progressive group of educators and learners with decades of learning research to draw from, who know that we must prepare learners for an evolving and diverse reality. Despite this OER tends to replicate the unsuccessful characteristics of traditional education. To remedy this we may need to remember the importance of imperfection, mistakes, problems, disagreement, and the incomplete for engaged learning, and relinquish our notions of perfection, acknowledging that learners learn differently and we need diverse learners. We must stretch our perceptions of quality and provide mechanisms for engaging the incredible pool of educators globally to fulfill the promise of inclusive education.

Personalization in e-learning allows the adaptation of contents, learning strategiesand educational resources to the competencies, previous knowledge or preferences of the student. This project takes a multidisciplinary perspective for devising standards-based personalization capabilities into virtual e-learning environments, focusing on the conceptof adaptive learning itinerary, using reusable learning objects as the basis of the system and using ontologies and semantic web technologies.

El Library and Learning Support Working Group (LLSWG) és una xarxa europea de professionals de biblioteca i de la informació i educadors dins de l'Associació Europea d'Universitats d'Ensenyament (EADTU). EADTU és l'organització que representa tant les universitats obertes i d'ensenyament a distància com els consorcis nacionals d'institucions d'ensenyament superior actius en els camps d'educació de distància i e-learning. El 2005 l'Associació Europea d'Universitats d'Ensenyament de Distància (EADTU) presentava a la Comissió Europea una proposta de projecte sobre Mobilitat Virtual anomenada E-MOVE. El projecte incloïa, entre d'altres, un paquet de treball referent a biblioteca i suport a l'aprenentatge al context de mobilitat virtual. Aquest fou desenvolupat pel LLSWG de l'EADTU.

La llegada de las tecnologías de la información, y su uso cada vez mayor y generalizado que se está haciendo de ellas, ha permitido para que una nueva situación aparezca que, a su vez, ha originado - de hecho, que ha precipitado - una serie de cambios de gran importancia en todos los niveles, pero especialmente en los niveles sociales, económicos y culturales. Este nueva escena ha tenido una gran influencia en el entorno pedagógico. De hecho, la aparición de nuevos modelos educativos como resultado de este cambio ha estado sucediendo de una manera continuada e ininterrumpida durante la década pasada. Estos cambios recientes en los sistemas actuales de enseñanza y de aprendizaje han significado un aumento y un cambio en el tipo de demandas hechas desde las bibliotecas y los centros de documentación.

The EVS4CSCL project starts in the context of a Computer Supported Collaborative Learning environment (CSCL). Previous UOC projects created a CSCL generic platform (CLPL) to facilitate the development of CSCL applications. A discussion forum (DF) was the first application developed over the framework. This discussion forum was different from other products on the marketplace because of its focus on the learning process. The DF carried out the specification and elaboration phases from the discussion learning process but there was a lack in the consensus phase. The consensus phase in a learning environment is not something to be achieved but tested. Common tests are done by Electronic Voting System (EVS) tools, but consensus test is not an assessment test. We are not evaluating our students by their answers but by their discussion activity. Our educational EVS would be used as a discussion catalyst proposing a discussion about the results after an initial query or it would be used after a discussion period in order to manifest how the discussion changed the students mind (consensus). It should be also used by the teacher as a quick way to know where the student needs some reinforcement. That is important in a distance-learning environment where there is no direct contact between the teacher and the student and it is difficult to detect the learning lacks. In an educational environment, assessment it is a must and the EVS will provide direct assessment by peer usefulness evaluation, teacher marks on every query created and indirect assessment from statistics regarding the user activity.

Hintergrund: Trotz ihrer Etablierung als essentieller Bestandteil der medizinischen Weiter-/Fortbildung werden europa- wie schweizweit kaum Kurse in evidenzbasierter Medizin (ebm) angeboten, die - integriert im klinischen Alltag - gezielt Fertigkeiten in ebm vermitteln. Noch grössere Defizite finden sich bei ebm- Weiterbildungsmöglichkeiten für klinische Ausbilder (z.B. Oberärzte). Als Weiterführung eines EU-finanzierten, klinisch integrierten E-learning- Programms für Weiterbildungsassistenten (www.ebm-unity.org) entwickelte eine europäische Gruppe von medical educators gezielt für Ausbilder ein e-learning-Curriculum zur Vermittlung von ebm im Rahmen der klinischen Weiterbildung. Methode: Die Entwicklung des Curriculums umfasst folgende Schritte: Beschreibung von Lernzielen, Identifikation von klinisch relevanten Lernumgebungen, Entwicklung von Lerninhalten und exemplarischen didaktischen Strategien, zugeschnitten auf die jeweilige Lernumgebungen, Design von web-basierten Selbst-Lernsequenzen mit Möglichkeiten zur Selbstevaluation, Erstellung eines Handbuchs. Ergebnisse: Lernziele des Tutoren-Lehrgangs sind der Erwerb von Fertigkeiten zur Vermittlung der 5 klassischen ebm-Schritte: PICO- (Patient-Intervention-Comparison-Outcome)-Fragen, Literatursuche, kritische Literaturbewertung, Übertragung der Ergebnisse im eigenen Setting und Implementierung). Die Lehrbeispiele zeigen angehenden ebm-Tutoren, wie sich typische klinische Situationen wie z.B. Stationsvisite, Ambulanzsprechstunde, Journalclub, offizielle Konferenzen, Audit oder das klinische Assessment von Weiterbildungsassistenten gezielt für die Vermittlung von ebm nutzen lassen. Kurze E-Learning-Module mit exemplarischen «real-life»-Video-Clips erlauben flexibles Lernen zugeschnitten auf das knappe Zeitkontingent von Ärzten. Eine Selbst-Evaluation ermöglicht die Überprüfung der gelernten Inhalte. Die Pilotierung des Tutoren-Lehrgangs mit klinisch tätigen Tutoren sowie die Übersetzung des Moduls in weitere Sprachen sind derzeit in Vorbereitung. chlussfolgerung: Der modulare Train-the-Trainer-Kurs zur Vermittlung von ebm im klinischen Alltag schliesst eine wichtige Lücke in der Dissemination von klinischer ebm. Webbasierte Beispiele mit kurzen Sequenzen demonstrieren typische Situationen zur Vermittlung der ebm-Kernfertigkeiten und bieten medical educators wie Oberärzten einen niedrigschwelligen Einstieg in «ebm» am Krankenbett. Langfristiges Ziel ist eine europäische Qualifikation für ebm- Learning und -Teaching in der Fort- und Weiterbildung. Nach Abschluss der Evaluation steht das Curriculum interessierten Personen und Gruppen unter «not-for-profit»-Bedingungen zur Verfügung. Auskünfte erhältlich von rkunz@uhbs.ch.
