The present study had the intention to demonstrate how the language used by official sources of economy helps to keep the limitation and lack of accessibility of economic journalism to non-specialist readers. Over two weeks, we compared the disclosures in the economics editorial office of the site Universo Online and the newspaper O Estado de S. Paulo to those cited in official reports. From this analysis of more than 50 issues selected for the sample, was observed how the technical language used by the official press makes more difficult the access to information and citizenship. Besides the comparison and description of the reports, the study involved the content analysis employed in the media. It was noted the presence of biased approaches and materials poorly cleared. The language used in many cases was not appropriate to the type of audience for which the news was heading. One of the most serious problems, perhaps, was the copy and paraphrase of press releases. The reports, most are limited to the specialist showed, contrary to the duty of public transparency, while highlighting the problems, the study also showed well-written texts that indicate a promising future for citizen and economic journalism

O Projeto de pesquisa Mensagem, imagem e ideologias centrou seu foco principal na análise de figuras e signos ideológicos contidos nas placas e nos outdoors da cidade de Rio Claro-SP e região, no âmbito de divulgação de Instituições de Ensino. Pesquisamos os eixos transversais sobre a visão de educação e infância, a ponte entre os signos e o visual, as idéias contidas no processo das propagandas e o que se pretende vender com as imagens e os códigos expostos. Determinamos tais meios de comunicação, com propagandas de escolas de quase todos os níveis de escolaridade, para demonstrar e ilustrar as idéias contidas na aliança entre o capitalismo e a mídia, principalmente a fim de explicitar os fundamentos políticos, suas concepções e possíveis implicações na administração do processo educacional.

This monograph has as objectives introduce digital terrestrial television, describing the process of installation of this in Spain, their technical qualities and possibilities of change and innovation that this creates. The exposure of the different chapters of this monograph has a objective presenting and discussing what are the characteristics of this new technology, your birth, what is its importance in communication and how this is inserted inside the Spanish reality. The introduction of digital terrestrial television in Spain is cited as an example of a pioneer in the development and installation of this new technology, but also appears as a nation that has come a way with some economic failures, reaching one of the largest cases of delayed installation of digital television in Western Europe. Making use of the European system for digital terrestrial television (DVB-T - Digital Video Broadcasting) it was possible some advances as the quality of communication and strengthening national public television system, but many vices of analog system were transferred this new system, as the concentration of channels to a foreign group and interactivity opportunities were wasted. Digital terrestrial television can provides better picture quality and sound, possibility of interactivity, mobility, hypermedia and multiprogramming, while the latter tool may lead to the democratization of media, opening it to other social agents. Going much further than just a technological advancement, digital television is strongly connected with the politics and the economy of the nation in which it operates

In contemporary times, to which the media is centralized in the hands of a few, it is necessary to understand and discuss its democratization. In this situation it surges a theory that is still maturing, Communication Public, which reflects the communication by the optic of citizen participation. In this sense, the research has as objective the reflection about democracy, the centrality and conglomeration media in society and what is affecting public broadcast organizations. So has too the intention to defend the performance of professional public relations in this context, due to its humanistic and strategic characteristic. Through literature review, observation of programming of Radio FM UNESP Bauru and interviews with employees, it is perceived that the vehicle radio for its intrinsic characteristics has great potential democratization, when this character in public can promote citizenship. There was also observed the demand for professional public relations, assisting the organization to recognize themselves as a social institution, defining its mission, its goals, its vision and policies, with objective to make two-way symmetrical communication to the public

The means of mass communication are powerful tools to the spread of a concept as persuasion is a strong characteristic of discourses that gather around the sphere of communication, especially in advertising discourses. By the end of the 90’s, the advertisement “Down: the worst syndrome is prejudice”, did great success approaching prejudice / pre-concept in a subtle and innovative way, due its outstanding purpose and style inserting two boys in a carousel, one is a street child, the other a Down syndrome patient. The advertisement reveals a speak project of diffusion and spread of ideas that down syndrome patients are capable of dealing and supporting a routine full of activities, making a opposition to the campaigns and ideas that, in spite of raising the respect towards these kids, only contributed with the attenuation of their handicaps. Our objective is to investigate the presence of these social values in the quoted audio-visual material, and for that we’ve searched the contextualization of the advertisement in its own time period. The theory and methodological aspects got their base in Bakhtinian studies and concepts; we used the concepts of discourse gender, chronotope and mainly dialogism and enunciation. We analyzed the style utilized in the advertisement, the dialogue between the politically correct and the prejudice speeches, the verbal discourse of the music that flows with the progress of the enunciation, the non-verbal discourse of the photography (nostalgic, producing effects of sense in its relation with memory), the chronotope present in the utilization of the carousel and its significations. We concluded that the accession of the recipient, in it responsive comprehension of the enunciation at hand, is an effect produced by the well-succeded addition of these different types of discourses

This project aims to analyze and understand the extension project called Observatório do Esporte, and especially, the radio program Observatório do Esporte, aired weekly on Rádio Unesp FM that reached the 100th edition in October 2012. Constructed on a research of structure and style of the program, based on eleven chosen editions, this project tries to identify regularities and changes during the almost three years of existence, as well as their linking with the original project configuration to which it is linked and which has as its main objective the realization of a differentiated thematic approach in relation to sports journalism commonly practiced in the media

Falar sobre imagem corporal têm se tornado cada vez mais frequente no mundo atual. A cada dia que passa evidenciamos estereótipos corporais sendo nos concedidos por inúmeros meios de comunicação através da sociedade para uma padronização da nossa estética corporal. Com esse quadro de incessante insatisfação corporal da população diante de seus corpos, inúmeros distúrbios relacionados à imagem corporal que antes eram exclusivamente relacionados ao público feminino começaram a surgir para o público masculino, como a anorexia, a bulimia e o mais recente deles, o transtorno dismórfico corporal, conhecido por vigorexia. Os vigoréxicos, muitas vezes, acabam buscando seu aprimoramento estético através do uso de anabolizantes. Diante disso, o objetivo do estudo foi analisar a insatisfação corporal, a vigorexia e os esteroides anabolizantes androgênicos. Optou-se por um questionário de 13 questões de múltipla escolha e a identificação do indivíduo, adaptado do Questionário do Complexo de Adônis (POPE JR. et. al., 2000), aplicado numa academia de classe média na cidade de Rio Claro, interior de São Paulo. O questionário foi respondido por 93 indivíduos do sexo masculino com idade entre 14 e 53 anos, com tempo médio de treinamento de 39,3 ± 57,62 meses. Para este estudo, foram utilizadas apenas quatro questões do questionário para análise de resultados e discussão, de modo a trabalhar nosso objetivo. Como resultado da analise das questões escolhidas, obtivemos na questão 2, 48,39% dos indivíduos relatando se perturbar as vezes com suas preocupações com a aparência e 5,38% frequentemente. Enquanto que na questão 4, constatamos que 90,32% dedicam mais de 30 minutos do seu dia envolvidos em atividades destinadas a melhorar sua aparência, deixando muitas vezes de se sociabilizar e fazer seus demais afazeres para dedicar-se a sua estética, corroborando... Recentemente, a temática ambiental tem sido caracterizada como um dos temas mais abrangentes, nesse sentido, o tema degradação ambiental tem se constituído em um problema tanto da geração que nos constituiu quanto da geração que nos sucederão. Podemos afirmar que o modelo de desenvolvimento econômico adotado em inúmeros paises, inclusive no Brasil, baseado no consumo e na exploração dos recursos naturais tem contribuído para a persistência dos problemas relacionados a degradação ambiental. Tendo em vista, esse contexto e a importância dos meios de comunicação em especial às revistas de divulgação científica. O presente trabalho teve como objetivo responder as seguintes questões norteadoras: Quais os problemas relacionados à temática ambiental, particularmente, os problemas relativos à degradação ambiental, são veiculados na Revista Ciência Hoje (CH)?Os temas e os problemas relativos à degradação ambiental são trabalhados de modo a contemplar as controvérsias socioambientais? Em caso positivo quais controvérsias socioambientais são veiculadas? Consistiram na investigação da abordagem da temática ambiental na Revista Ciência Hoje particularmente, os problemas relativos à degradação ambiental. A Ciência Hoje, criada em 1982, a partir do Projeto Ciência Hoje responsável pelas publicações de divulgação cientifica da Sociedade Brasileira para o Progresso da Ciência (SBPC) entidade civil sem fins lucrativos e que tem como objetivo promover o desenvolvimento tecnológico no Brasil. Dessa forma realizou-se uma pesquisa documental, cujo corpus documental foi constituído por 161 exemplares da CH publicados nos anos de 1990-2005. A metodologia utilizada na analise dos artigos da Revista foi a “Análise de Conteúdo” proposta por Bardin (1991). The current rise of the Internet has allowed distances being shortened more and more-creating virtual communities with the most different people, discussing and debating opinions about their environments, what they consume or what they do. Social media has put the people and, consequently, organizations gradually changing their positions about the environment in which they are inserted. Organizations are forced to adapt to new media-always attentive to what people are saying about them. The objective of this project is to give the Public Relations the activity to analyze what is going on in these social networks, always ahead of the organization, posing as a mediator of public opinion between social networks and the organization

It is possible to note that the teaching done in the usual way goes against the language of youth today. It is essential that there be incentives and subsidies regarding the use of such media, whether the responsible government agencies and their members, be they principals and teachers, so there is a reform in the existing educational models and teaching. Currently, teaching is in a purely encyclopedic context of teaching models with pre-defined, ignoring the teaching based on the context in which the student lives (ethnomathematics). The objective of this work is to show how the use of audiovisual best known, such as newspapers, magazines, TV and computers can assist in teaching and learning of mathematics education, making teaching more enjoyable and inserted into the day-to-day student

This study focuses on an analysis of the convergence of Journalism and Publicity on the covers of the magazine. This paper aims to clarify how the dynamics of that relationship, understanding that in contemporary society, both Journalism and Publicity to perform the same function-to inform, differing only in the objective-journalism sells news, Publicity sells dream. The magazine Veja was chosen for this study because its importance and scope in publishing. Inspired by Time magazine, founded in 1922 by Henry Luce, Veja was the 2nd review of gender information in Brazil. Today a record run of more than 1 million copies, occupying the 3rd position in the ranking of news magazines sold over the world and the largest weekly magazine of the U.S. Among the media, the magazine is the most identified with the publicity, because as disseminator of advertising, the magazine has the advantage of being able to achieve precisely the widest range of public and the possibility of dealing with many different subjects; In addition, the number of people who have contact with the advertising is much greater because, on average, four people read each issue and is also common that the same reader review the revised more than once, which helps in setting the message advertising. This affinity between magazine and publicity is in its essence as both are prepared for the market, seek to promote, show themselves to be bought. Accordingly, we intend to find out how media discourse of Veja and publicity, approach in the writing of magazine covers

This monograph aims to analyze the ability of the radical media to lead journalistic productions performed by O Globo during debates of the event Rio +20. The concentration of the major means of communication in the minor part of the population consolidates what can be called by hegemonic media. These media are primarily responsible for controlling the content viewed by a large portion of the population. Aiming a true plurality of information the alternative media day-by-day is looking for a bigger space within the communication market. Thus, the hegemonic media use capable tools to interfere in editorial policies consolidated by corporative media. One of those possible tools is the Culture Jamming, an activist action that interferes in a variety of marketing branches of communication. Therefore, having in its basis theorists such as John Downing and Perseu Abramo this study analyzed the journalistic content produced by the newspaper O Globo between the days 13 to 22 of June, in which the Rio +20 activities were held

It is through the media that information is transmitted, both educational or noneducational. Among the various forms of media there’s television, as one of the means of communication most used since the 50’s. Most of the time, television displays images and words to reach the target audience, something that is done in a simple, but often appealing way. Media is present in our daily lives and takes a significant educational role in the constitution of subjects. That is to say, the persuasive power of television is amazing, in order to influence children in their habits and their ways of thinking and acting. It was intended to discuss in this paper the influence of media on kindergarten children. For this, the historic rescue of television in Brazil was presented and also its trajectory to the present day and the power of media on children in preschool

The theme of this project is the animal world, focusing on Bauru. The magazine Bauru Animal was born from the lack of publications addressing the issue of animals under the focus of their rights in this county. The treatment we give to animals is an important ethical and moral issue that should be discussed by the press. In Bauru there is an animal protection movement, whether organized or independent people. And there are many problems about the animals. The intent of the magazine is to report the status of animals in the city, checking legislation and getting into the philosophical field: we have the right to treat animals as mere environmental and economic resource? For the preparation of the materials were performed several interviews, documented in audio files and performed with the authors' theoretical Cremilda Medina and José Carlos Sebe Bom Meihy. The animal issue is cross-cutting issue that involves all traditional media editorials and allows public bodies to discuss assignments, ethical, moral and legal, the role of the citizen in society and many other issues relevant to the media

Este trabalho de pesquisa tem como objetivo identificar o significado da ética contida nos Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais (PCN). Para tal meta, foi feita uma pesquisa bibliográfica de cunho epistemológico, que proporcionou o estudo dos significados da ética em uma perspectiva história – desde a Antiguidade, ao enfatizar os pensamentos de Aristóteles; na Modernidade com o filósofo Immanuel Kant para, posteriormente chegarmos à contemporaneidade e receber contudo, a contribuição de vários teóricos, dentre os quais destacamos: a visão construtivista de Yves de La Taille; e a ótica crítica de Pedro Goergen. Ao dar ênfase para a contemporaneidade, foi feita uma análise sobre a ética e a educação, contidas em seu contexto, em prol da realidade e da necessidade da ética, de acordo com diferentes percepções teóricas. Finalizamos esta pesquisa com a descrição do conteúdo da ética, presente nos Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais (PCN) – Temas Transversais (TT) que, posteriormente analisou seu discurso baseado nos teóricos apresentados no transcorrer desta pesquisa. Neste momento, percebemos que a ética tem tido um papel histórico de propagação da moral existente na comunidade à qual se insere e esta, entretanto, sempre recebeu influências da classe pela qual é dominada. Na contemporaneidade, percebemos claramente esta realidade, sendo a ética hedonista moralmente propagada pelos meios de comunicação, pelos espaços públicos e privados, pela escola, etc. Com isso, ao pensar no campo educacional, os PCN, trazem a necessidade de uma educação moral na escola que inverta os valores morais existentes, para os valores referentes à justiça eqüitativa que está no discurso neoliberal atual. O qual visa solucionar os problemas advindos da modernidade desenfreada, porém sem modificar a lógica capitalista existente.
