This study aimed to analyze the relationships – some already established and others that are still necessary – between the obligatory curriculum component Physical Education and the textbooks, understood as materials that assist both teachers and students during the teaching and learning process. In this way, we focused the discussion on some topics that have enabled a greater understanding of textbooks for Education in general and for School Physical Education more specifically, taking into account their specific characteristics. There were also some understandings about School Physical Education in Brazilian contemporary society as well as some official regiments about this curriculum component. Finally, it was elaborated some propositions that seek to generate interlacements to a deeper comprehension about textbooks in Physical Education classes. We concluded that although there are (few) textbooks in the area and some curriculum proposals from different Brazilian States that quest new ways of conceiving the teaching and learning process of School Physical Education, it is important to have more understandings about the roles of these materials in the pedagogical practice, as well as studies that can enable ways to treat this curricular component that could contribute to the critical and reflective educational practice during the years of schooling in Basic Education

The concern with the environmental planning has become important in Brazil recently. Until then, nature was conceived as a resource, because of the implementation of developmental policies that perdured to the 1970s, based on the expansion of the industrial complex, altogether hadn´t preoccupation by the federal government with the relationship between society and nature. During this period, after the threat of not receiving more international investment to finance large projects in the country, accompanied by pressure from civil society organizations, the federal government began to take some action related to the environment, such as the creation of federal agencies (IBAMA), application of environmental laws and decrees in order to create rules for the proper use of natural resources such as water, soil and air. From the decade of 1990 onwards the master plans have become a mandatory document for all municipalities in the country with a population over 20,000 inhabitants, ranging from health issues to the development of urban, rural and environmental planning. Thus, the environmental planning gained prominence in the political scene. O presente trabalho visa, em meio à crise de identidade que se instaura na Educação Física desde décadas – do seu início oficial em 1851 com a Reforma Couto Ferraz até os dias de hoje onde se fala em Cultura Corporal (de Movimento) – , enquanto área do conhecimento, explorar seu contexto e constituição históricosocial, perpassar por suas principais abordagens, principalmente no que tange à Educação Física Escolar e promover o entendimento da origem da perspectiva cultural, tal qual tem sido veiculada nos principais documentos oficiais que definem a constituição da área e sua práxis. Nesse sentido, aborda-se o contexto higienista/eugenista, onde se buscava uma educação do físico que o prevenisse de doenças e o purifcasse, com profundas influências militares; o contexto nacionalista, na intenção do aperfeiçoamento físico e aprimoramento das funções orgânicas, atrelado às questões de ordem moral e cívica; escolanovista, que proporcionou uma visão não só embasada biologicamente, mas se atentou à fatores psicológicos da criança; o contexto da ditadura militar, fortemente associado ao Esporte e a visibilidade internacional que ele acarretava ao país, inclusive, remetendo à Educação Física ao binômio Educação Física/Esporte; e o contexto que, a partir de década de 80, vem tentando instaurar uma Educação Física mais humana, sem deixar de lado questões relativas à saúde. É a partir dessa última década que o tema será aprofundado, apresentando-se alguns conceitos de “cultura” trazidos e utilizados pelas ciências sociais para, posteriormente, explanar como a Educação Física se apropria de tais conceitos para justificar-se enquanto conteúdo curricular obrigatório, no contexto escolar. This work has the propose to discuss the National Examination Performance of students for the course in Production Engineering , from 2005 up to 2011, subsidies are shown how this came about assessment and how the course has been evaluated in recent years . Compares higher education from public and private universities in Brazil and is also discussed how important a good performance in the exam. Qualitative and quantitative surveys were conducted at different times that the work that enables a critical analysis of the examination , the institution and also the students themselves , so the list is the main motivators for the exam and also what should be done to obtaining good results in academic performance. Motivators for the exam has highlighted its importance is paramount and the consent of all involved from the beginning of the course to ensure that the examination is compulsory for all graduates of undergraduate manufacturing engineering in Brazil

Este trabalho apresenta uma proposta de qualificação de fornecedores de matérias primas para uma farmácia na cidade de Araraquara, estado de São Paulo. A qualificação de fornecedores é um processo de extrema importância no que diz respeito ao produto acabado e, para que tenha qualidade, essa qualidade deve vir desde as matérias primas que o compõem. A RDC nº 67 de 8 de outubro de 2007 diz que as farmácias devem adquirir matérias primas apenas de fornecedores qualificados. Para o processo de qualificação, a mesma RDC diz que devem ser feitas auditorias e levantamentos de dados dos fornecedores, bem como o controle de qualidade das matérias primas fornecidas. Foram escolhidas quatro matérias primas utilizadas pela farmácia de três fornecedores diferentes. O processo começou com o envio de questionários avaliativos, onde cada fornecedor deveria colocar as informações solicitadas. O passo seguinte é o controle de qualidade das matérias primas. A partir dos dados dos questionários e dos resultados do controle de qualidade, acrescidos de outros fatores como prazo de entrega, compõe-se o Índice de Qualificação do Fornecedor (IQF), que é como uma “nota” que o fornecedor recebe e, através desse índice, pode ser DESQUALIFICADO, QUALIFICADO ou ainda CERTIFICADO. A certificação ocorre após a auditoria do estabelecimento do fornecedor e também entra na composição do IQF. The object of this study was to analyze the process of implementing the compulsory education to nine years, according to the Law 11.274/06, in Rio Claro. Thus it was established a brief analysis of the trajectory of Brazilian educational policy that began with the Law of Directives and Bases 4.024/61 and was followed by the Law 5.692/71, the 1988 Federal Constitution, the Law of Directives and Bases 9394 / 96, the National Educational Plan - Law 10.172/01, Law 11.114/05, 11.274/06 and the Constitutional Amendment. 59/2009, pointing to increase access to education that aims to expand and ensure free education and compulsory basic education for children aging from 04 to 17 years old. The research has been based on collecting bibliographical data, information and data for the municipality of Rio Claro, through official documents, semi-structured interviews, and research on government websites. The expansion of basic education to nine years has been securing the rights gained over time through education. Moreover, this expansion of education promotes a questioning about the quality of teaching and a concern for the financial contributions required for education.

Micronuclei (MN) originate from chromosome fragments or whole chromosomes that lag behind at anaphase during cell division can occur due to excessive exposure to harmful agents, defects in mitosis and / or DNA repair process. The study evaluated the frequency of micronuclei in cytological samples after daily use of alcohol -based mouthwash mouth in smokers and non-smokers. We assessed 30 subjects, aged between 17-42 years and established as exclusion criteria: alcohol consumption; periodontal disease; systemic diseases that may interfere with the integrity of the oral mucosa; individuals with medical or pharmacological history that affect the performance of the study, family history of malignancies. For smokers the inclusion criterion was a minimum consumption of 20 cigarettes / day, and the contrast required for non-smokers. The sample was divided into 02 experimental groups: Group 1 Smokers and Group 2 Non-Smokers, both groups performed mouthwash (alcohol 21,6%) with Listerine® Defense of Teeth and Gums for 04 weeks cytological collection were performed on buccal mucosa and portion median border of the tongue, one for initial, week 0 control, and subsequent three weeks with continued use of mouthwash. The collected material was stained by specific staining Feulgen / Fast Green. The analysis of 3000 cells / individual was performed by light microscopy statistics used Kruskal- Wallis and Mann-Whitney tests for frequency MN. The frequency of micronuclei in buccal mucosa was 1.6 ± 1.75 and 1.46 ± 2.06 for the site language to Group 1 Smokers of showing a slight increase compared with Group 2 Non-smoking, which showed a variation of 1.2 ± 1.53 for the buccal mucosa site and 0.86 ± 1.41 for the site language. However, this difference was not statistically significant. The results suggest that alcohol-based mouthwash tested is not an inducer of genotoxic changes, thus not changing the frequency...

Although physical education is regulated by law and recognized as a mandatory component of basic education class, which includes high school, there are many reports that these classes do not actually happen. Such evidence shows the situation experienced by the author of this study, which brought this research to the attention. Therefore, the objective was to investigate and understand the perspective of students, physical education teachers, principals and coordinators forward their ideas to this reality, about the high school physical education in private schools. The research made use of qualitative approach, guided by an exploratory study. The technique was undertaken to collect the questionnaire with open and closed questions, involving 263 students enrolled in high school of four schools in two cities in the state of Sao Paulo and also the director, coordinator and professor of physical education of each one of these institutions, resulting in 12 education professionals. The categories of analysis were defined as: 1. Regarding physical education in high school, 2. The occurrence of physical rducation in high school, 3. Content and dynamic strategies developed in class 4. Student participation in class. The results show that despite, although some schools have physical education classes, there are still many students who do not take them. This reveals a double challenge to the area, which is: although it is essential that such a curriculum component is included in the grades (respecting the regional law legal system) that is not enough students that actually participate in it. As teachers, coordinators and directors recognize the importance of effective physical education, there are numerous of factors that deserve consideration to better understand this reality.
