O presente estudo propõe-se a investigar as práticas pedagógicas desenvolvidas na Escola Municipal de Frevo do Recife, visando a identificar Inovação Pedagógica neste contexto escolar. O objetivo é compreender como a corporeidade se constitui enquanto processo que possibilita o desenvolvimento de ações pedagógicas inovadoras. Visando tal objeto a pesquisa fundamenta-se em estudos que abordam a relação educação e corporeidade. O estudo dividese em duas partes, uma epistemológica e a outra metodológica. A primeira parte fornece os fundamentos teóricos que sustentam o estudo, contextualizando a corporeidade enquanto elemento da linguagem educacional. Identifica o que os saberes científicos têm apontado sobre o corpo e sua relação com a área educacional, segundo os autores: Merleau-Ponty (1994), Alvin Toffler (1980), Seymour Papert (1994), Gimeno Sacristán (2002), Carlos Fino (2008), Jesus Maria Sousa (2005). A segunda parte contempla a abordagem etnográfica discutida por Georges Lapassade (2005), Roberto Macedo (2010), Laurence Bardin (1997). Participaram da pesquisa os professores e os estudantes adolescentes e jovens que frequentam a Escola de Frevo perquirida. Com base nas falas dos sujeitos investigados, obteve-se, como resultado, algumas categorias, as quais se podem destacar: A arte dançante enquanto espaço para a formação; valorização do frevo; a dança como expressão da emoção; a construção da identidade pernambucana a partir do frevo. Nesse sentido, os dados apontaram que a Escola de Frevo pesquisada apresenta práticas pedagógicas que possibilitam o desenvolvimento de aprendizagem significativa. Desse modo, pode-se inferir que as práticas pedagógicas propostas na Escola de Frevo, em estudo, possibilitaram práticas pedagógicas que incentivam e desenvolvem a formação humana, pois se observa, nos depoimentos dos estudantes investigados, a valorização e o reconhecimento social. Como fator inovador, constatou-se maior liberdade para se expressar, criar, ousar, num imbrincamento entre a tradição e a inovação. Com relação às práticas pedagógicas dançantes, destacou-se a compreensão numa visão de educação integral onde inventividade, ludicidade, sensualidade e energia pulsante, construíram aprendizagens próprias, mediante uma prática pedagógica singular que justifica esta ação investigadora contextualizada na Escola de Frevo investigada. Esta pesquisa possibilitou perceber que a intencionalidad pedagógica centrada no lúdico, na corporeidade, nas interações e nas inúmeras apresentações que reforçam as ações e podem levar à Inovação Pedagógica.

O presente estudo se propôs a pesquisar sobre as práticas educativas interculturais, como inovação pedagógica na escola indígena, a partir de uma classe multisseriada da Escola Indígena Pedro Ferreira de Queiroz, localizada na Aldeia Kambiwá, município de Ibimirim/Pernambuco - Brasil. Instaura a percepção freireana de educação que, ambientada na concepção problematizadora e libertadora, se assenta numa tendência contestadora, que defende o reconhecimento e a prática educacional para a inserção social. Nesse contexto, delimitamos a abordagem qualitativa, sob inspiração da etnografia como possibilidade de investigar, descrever e analisar a problemática de pesquisa, definindo, ainda, um esquema de interpretação e de perspectivas do fenômeno estudado, o que possibilitou destacar, de forma aproximada, as intenções subjacentes ao mesmo. Os dados obtidos apontam que as estratégias pedagógicas utilizadas na escola, campo de estudo e, no entendimento da maioria dos/as entrevistados/as, defendem o princípio da interculturalidade, como inovação, no âmbito da prática pedagógica, visando a construção do conhecimento ou a valorização da cultura quando, o professor da turma investigada, o grupo gestor e liderança, incentivam os estudantes a se reconhecerem como índio, reafirmando sua identidade étnica, através de atividades culturais ambientadas no ritual doToré, praticado na abertura das aulas e no recreio; valorizam o artesanato indígena, a merenda de alimentos cultivados pela comunidade, ou apreciam o uso da história oral encorajando, assim, mudanças nas práticas consideradas tradicionais. Contudo, o estudo aponta para a instauração de um processo incipiente de inovação que rebate em ações mais efetivas de mudança no que se referem à formação acadêmica dos/as professores indígenas, a organização curricular dos conteúdos, do material didático, do calendário, da avaliação e da ação dos docentes quando, esses, tratam do conhecimento e das percepções na sala de aula, além dos entraves provocados pela burocracia e falta de preparação técnica/pedagógica do poder público em atender as especificidades.

Na perspectiva de renovação dos métodos de aprendizagem, esta dissertação investiga um modelo de intervenção pedagógica com diferenciações no processo de construção do conhecimento e suas implicações na aprendizagem da alfabetização no meio prisional. Desconstruindo paradigmas da pedagogia tradicional, o programa de alfabetização carcerária MOVA-BRASIL, aplicado aos reeducandos do Presídio de Igarassu, apresenta prática pedagógica a partir das experiências prévias da turma e com interesse tanto na aprendizagem quanto na reintegração social desses apenados por meio da educação. Todo mecanismo de identificação das necessidades de aprendizagem dos alfabetizandos a partir da percepção de suas situações significativas, caracterizam o MOVA-BRASIL como modelo diferenciador de aprendizagem, inserindo-o num contexto de inovação pedagógica. Na potencialização desta prática pedagógica destaca-se a sucessiva relação desenvolvida entre educador e reeducandos como estímulo para a aprendizagem. Logo, a comunicação dialógica ganha espaço e importância numa turma que sofre dupla carência: exclusão social e educacional. O compartilhamento de conhecimentos e os relatos das necessidades, dúvidas e perspectivas da turma favorecem para a construção deste novo contexto de aprendizagem, em um ambiente repleto de restrições. Embora, os reeducandos descubram e conquistem, neste novo modelo de prática pedagógica, a liberdade a para suas ideias, pensamentos e expressões. Assim, este trabalho acende uma reflexão e evidencia a importância do papel da aprendizagem como mecanismos de libertação, emancipação e reintegração social.

Analisa as práticas de mediação desenvolvidas nas bibliotecas universitárias pelos bibliotecários diante das tecnologias digitais. Para tanto estabelece como objetivo geral analisar de forma comparativa, o impacto e mediação das tecnologias digitais no funcionamento de bibliotecas Universitárias de Portugal e da região Nordeste do Brasil. Integraram esta pesquisa 10 universidades federais brasileiras e 12 universidades públicas portuguesas, com um total geral de 115 bibliotecários, que são os sujeitos participantes. É uma pesquisa qualitativa que adota o método quadripolar – recomendado para os trabalhos desenvolvidos no âmbito das Ciências Sociais Aplicadas, e em especial na área de Ciência da Informação. Através da interação entre os polos: epistemológico, teórico, técnico e morfológico, que fundamentam este método, houve o fortalecimento e a fluidez das questões estudadas. Os resultados dos questionários aplicados aos bibliotecários, bem como da análise dos sítios das bibliotecas pesquisadas, foram interpretados através de um alicerce teórico baseado em três pontos principais: as questões paradigmáticas que envolvem a área de Ciência da Informação, a análise da mediação pós-custodial informacional e científica e as Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação presentes nas bibliotecas. Como principais resultados vemos que o impacto das tecnologias digitais nas bibliotecas universitárias é considerado pelos bibliotecários brasileiros e portugueses como positivo, com ênfase em dois pontos: a inovação dos suportes de informação e a autossuficiência dos utilizadores. A maior diferença se percebe em relação ao aspecto social, através de uma maior preocupação entre os bibliotecários brasileiros com as barreiras informacionais causadas por questões econômica, social e educacional e sentido com menos intensidade pelos bibliotecários portugueses, que ascendem as tecnologias digitais com mais facilidade. De forma conclusiva, a análise do impacto e a mediação das tecnologias digitais nas bibliotecas pesquisadas, apontam para uma evolução nas práticas mediadoras das bibliotecas universitárias de Portugal e do Nordeste do Brasil e uma convergência laboral entre os bibliotecários portugueses e brasileiros.

This study approaches bureaucratic organizational structures with the aim to understand the adherence procedure to virtual technologies in the stricto sensu educational administrative process. Thus, the author navigates through the formation of these organizations in Brazil with the intent to demonstrate the bureaucratic organizational culture and the consequent form of domination of those who detain power. In this epistemological construction, the author explores the culture s bureaucratic environment and the organizational power. In the analyses, it was observed the technological phenomenon in the ODL s administrative environment, which can explain the adherence procedure to structures and technological instruments for stricto sensu courses that, hypothetically, dilutes the traditional inherited organizational axiom. Therefore, it was utilized as object of study the Professional Master s degree in National Scale Public Administration PROFIAP, hence analyzing the documental content and the legislation related to institutionalization as well as the positioning of professors/coordinators and of the director of CAPES/MEC. Considering this axioms, it was concluded that the bureaucratic structures can admit ODL in the stricto sensu s environment. However, this can only be done as long as the adherence does not imply in a dilution of the traditional forms of power and institutional bureaucratic inherited dominance, as well as the alleged hegemony of the governmental structure in the educational administration adopted in person by the stricto sensu courses in Brazil

The theme Corporate Social Responsibility is relatively recent both in the academic field and in the business practice. Because of the lack of socialization of experiences and precision of concepts, there are gaps regarding the understanding of the subject and, also, how to conduct operations. This study just seeks to investigate such matter, focusing applications of social responsibility in business. It takes, as empirical field, winners of the PSQT - SESI Prize of Quality at Work in Rio Grande do Norte (2002-2007) in order to systematize the various approaches on the issue, aiming to reveal subjective visions and perspectives of the theme. It is characterized as a qualitative study, carried out by structured interview. The universe was composed by 15 companies. It was used analysis of content categorical as an axis for the interpretation of the information. Three approaches guided the analysis: Business Ethics, (normative); Business & Society (contractual); Social Issues Management (strategic). The findings are related in three ways: 1) reasons for the CSR practice; 2) the results obtained; 3) the means of CSR. It was found that the award participation occurs, mostly, linked to SESI invitations, so, as an articulated movement of industrial corporations in Brazil it occurs, also, because of the organizational commitment with the society and the possibility of internal and social growths and because of the importance attributed to the report as an instrument of consultancy. There are no indicators to check impacts of organizational interventions, in spite of the existence of planning for the actions. Social responsibility appears as a tool to reinforce the organizational image and to increase satisfaction of the employees. There is a tendency of large and medium firms to a contractual commitment while the small and the micros firms are on strategic or normative level. The theme of corporate social responsibility (CSR) provides discussion and analysis and relatively recent, particularly in the last twenty years, has grown into the world as well as in Brazil, the interest on the involvement of the business sector in social activities or projects facing combating poverty. However, a lack of socialization of successful experiences in the practice of CSR and clarity and consensus concepts generate deviations of understanding on the subject and the structuring of interventions. This research aimed to reveal how corporate social responsibility of the IMA Food was developed from Project Nursery Saci. The research took place under a qualitative approach of descriptive-explanatory, conducted through semi-structured interviews and non-participatory observation and interviewed 35 people in total. The interpretation and analysis of data occurred through a categorical content analysis, having as theoretical approach to socioeconomic CSR. The results showed that the major form of social responsibility of the Food IMA is based on a classical approach of CSR, focusing on philanthropy. The absence of a more systematic management of the project and reflect the fragility, instability and lack of commitment towards the community. The contributions generated by the project are substantial and important, but do not reach the development occasioned by the company. However, none of this invalidates the initiative of the organization's commitment to the community, however, requires a reassessment and restructuring of the proposal in a way that leverages the performance of the project and the company itself and it can more effectively contribute to society

In Brazil, the selection of school principals is set in a decentralized manner by each state and city, such that processes may vary with time for a specific locality. In the state of Bahia, school principals were appointed by a higher political hierarchy until 2008, when schools under state administration started selecting principals by elections. The main goal of this work is to evaluate whether changing this specific rule affected students proficiency levels. This is achieved by using a panel data and difference-in-differences approachs that compares state schools (treatment group) to city schools (control group) that did not face a selection rule change and thus kept having their principals politically appointed. The databases used are Prova Brasil 2007, 2009 and 2011, the first one prior and the other two former to the policy change. Our results suggest that students attending schools with principals that are selected and elected have slightly lower mean proficiency levels both in mathematics and in portuguese exams than those attending schools with appointed principals. This result, according to the literature, could be related to perverse effects of selecting school administrators by vote, such as corporatism, clientelism and politicization of the school environment

According to the Public National Security Plan, the security is "[ ] a right by democratic excellence legitimately desired by all sectors of society, which is the fundamental right of citizenship, obligation of the constitutional state and responsibility of each one of us." The 1988 Constitution recognized the rights of life, liberty and personal integrity, considered torture and racial discrimination as crimes. The prime directive of the National Security and Citizenship (Law No. 11,707 of June 19, 2008 - PRONASCI-Brazil) expresses the commitment of the Brazilian state with the promotion of human rights. But despite this formal recognition, official violence continues to be used as a means of maintaining social order, consolidating a police action violating human rights (Amnesty International report "They go in shooting" - AI Index: AMR 19/025/2005) . This thesis analyzes the police work combined with the extension of citizenship rights, the spaces of freedom and democracy as a measure for the degree of affirmation or denial of the Human Rights in Brazil, and proposes the construction of a human friendly Police Force (Post - Colonial, Post-Abyss, Intercultural and Democratic)

The debate around the thematic of Corporate Social Responsibility - CSR involves economic, social, cultural and symbolic aspects in the relations established between company and society. In Brazilian reality, the CSR, understood as enterprise actions, external and/or internal, that contributes to social and ambient improvement, gains greater visibility in 1990 decade. Although the significant increase of theoretical productions about CSR pertinent elements, it is still scarce the studies that treats about the relation company/society in the northeastern reality, and singularly, in Rio Grande do Norte. It was in this perspective, that, in being the salt industry one of most important in the potiguar economic history formation , the present work investigated practicies and perceptions of salt entrepreneurship about CSR. Considering all the Rio Grande do Norte salt industry history phases, since the period of the Brazil s settling, as well as the characteristics of the study object, was opted to the qualitative research, objectified in interviews half-structuralized realized with the salt segment entrepreneurs, as well as professionals of ambient management and human resources working in potiguar salt segment. The research main results indicated a coexistence between the mechanisms of management seated on personal and paternalists relations, typical of traditional salt industry, and the emergency of innovative elements typical of the modern management, like the CSR. In this context, a tension between continuity and rupture with the traditional mechanisms of management in salt entrepreneurship actions

This study attempts to investigate the school administration in the Department of Education of Rio Grande de Norte, in the period 1924 to 1928, in the context of conservative modernization in its management, implemented by Nestor Lima dos Santos. Addresses the trends of administrative Nestor Santos Lima and sequence of these variables so that we can correlate and monitor the development of various economic, social, cultural and political, to show how influenced and even determined the direction of education, not only the state of RN, but throughout the country. For this purpose, it is the recapitulation of the history of life, experiences of work and travel reports of this important figure, including administrative concepts, aiming to identify the school administration, introduced by him in the 1920s, as those who received influence of characters that included the social and historical context of the time, reconstituting the ways following the education. It was developed by Nestor shares in Lima on the administration of public schools, their way of management, and can see how was the process of modernization of education in Rio Grande do Norte state and how it followed the rapid changes, experienced by Brazil, during this period. Show up on the design aspects of modernizing Nestor Lima in the Department of Education, the Director General of Administrative Acts, the internal record of school groups, Isolated Schools, Schools rudimentary and the newly created Board of Education, highlighting the Internal Rules of Council but the General Regulations of the Department of Education. This work also highlights the proposed administrative Nestor of Lima, while educational model of an operating system of the organization, training and education, which is present in the area of production of discourse, through body practice, characteristic of the record established levels of policy development and implementation of educational instruction in all state. The black communities, nowadays known as quilombolas, have long been segregated in social and cultural distances in relation to other groups in the country. Gradually, the establishment of public policy has enabled the inclusion of these social communities in new instances, favoring the improvement of standards of learning. In order to know the route of the school in relation to its surroundings, this paper presents a reflection on the educational history of the Municipal School Padre Armando de Paiva, inserted in the context of afrodescendência (African descendants), in the community called Sibaúma, municipality of Tibau do Sul - RN, characterized as the object of this study. Methodologically, this study is limited in a descriptive research of the historical reconstruction of the school, a case considered worthy of analysis. From a reflection on the presence of African descent in Brazil and in Rio Grande do Norte, the study also presents information on education in Brazil. Finally, it presents the trajectories directed to the analysis of physical conditions, the dynamics of registration, and avoidance of repetition of its students and the qualifications of its teaching staff. La recherche propose un nouveau regard sur l Institution Scolaire École Doméstica de Natal, en essayant de tenir compte de la multiplicité des auteurs et des pratiques développées à l école qui définissaient le mieux et expliquaient les phénomènes de cette réalité éducative et des rapports avec le temps et le lieu où elle s insérait. Pour ce faire, les concepts de mémoire et culture scolaire ont été fondamentaux pour la compréhension de ces pratiques, parce qu ils ont contribué à notre lecture historique-culturelle de l ensemble d aspects institutionnalisés à l école, comme son curriculum, ses finalités, ses façons d enseigner et d apprendre, ses règles de conduite, ses normes, enfin, ce qui caractérisait son organisation et ses pratiques quotidiennes. C était l École Doméstica de Natal l institution pionnière dans le modèle d éducation féminine au Brésil, nous le reconnaissons en priorité et nous visons à le circonscrire à son indélébile contribution à l Histoire de l Éducation de Rio Grande do Norte. Conçue par un modèle d organisation scolaire européen pour l éducation féminine, l École Doméstica de Natal a été inaugurée en 1914, en ayant comme créateur l intelectuel de Rio Grande do Norte Henrique Castriciano de Souza. Sa singularité, s opposant aux écoles féminines existantes au Rio Grande do Norte et au Brésil en ce temps-là, était dû au modèle scolaire adopté, qui appuyait sur la formation d une femme préparée à répondre aux aspirations modernes surgissant avec l avènement de la République. Ce contexte exigeait de l école la formation d un modèle de femme dans les aspects moral, physique, culturel et intelectuel modelés sur les idéaux de l ordre et du progrès. Ce serait une nouvelle méthode d éducation scolaire qui pourrait favoriser la modernisation des anciennes méthodes d enseignement, provoquant le surgissement de modèles qui impliqueraient une nouvelle organisation pédagogique aux écoles de l`État et conduiraient la ville à de nouveaux et hauts paliers de culture et civilité. Avec cela, l école contribuerait à ce que la femme joue un rôle dans la société d une manière plus active, sociale et mieux adaptée. Les mots ordre, nouveau, civilité, moderne et progrès se répandaient et s entrecroisaient avec des valeurs archaïques toujours permanentes et enracinées dans la vision de vie et l idée de monde d alors. Ainsi, on voyait que l École Doméstica était une institution modèle, spécifique dans sa fonction, qui apporterait à la ville et, particulièrement au Rio Grande do Norte, des idées de civilité, ordre et progrès
