Elaboração de mapa de susceptibilidade de corridas de massa/detritos e ondas de cheia, aplicado a empreendimentos dutoviários, na bacia hidrográfica do Ribeirão da Prata (SP)

Given the intense expansion of the industries in Brazil and the discovery of hydrocarbons in the pre-salt layer of the Santos and Campos Basin, there is a need to expand the distribution of oil and gas network in the country. The present work aims to present the development of susceptibility map by two distinct methods of two events (debris flows and full wave), applied to the establishment of pipelines on Ribeirão da Prata Basin. The research area covers two municipalities: São João da Boa Vista and Águas da Prata, in total 145 km2. In the paper was used the methodology proposed by Zaine (2011) for the physiographic subdivision method, which uses geological maps, geomorphological maps, digital terrain models and aerial photographs, used to extract the main elements of the physical environment, as rivers, lines, ridges, tops forms and valley forms and historical processes. Thus, the basin was divided into 11 physiographic zones, considering the following elements: thickness of soil, rock type, geomorphology, amplitude, ridges orientation, erosion occurences and mass movements. Were subsequently performed location maps of dams, that had as main purpose to localize major dams in the study area along with their area and perimeter of the reservoir, and land use map that subdivided the area in woody vegetation, permanent culture, temporary culture and urban area. Along with the preparation of the auxiliar maps was conducted a field campaign with three days and approximately 2 points per km2, which aimed to better understand the physical environment and check the main peculiarities of the study area. This scientific research focus on the “Estudo de Impacto de Vizinhança” (EIV, Neighborhood Impact Study), a legal instrument instituted by federal law, and regulated by municipal law, that aims to evaluate the impacts in the neighborhood caused by the implantation or expansion of ventures within the urban zone. The main objective of this research was the formulation of general guidelines for EIV elaboration. Estudos em políticas públicas: cidadania, desenvolvimento e controle social

Os 13 artigos reunidos neste livro foram primeiramente apresentados em encontro internacional sobre participação, democracia e políticas públicas na América Latina, realizado em 2013 na Faculdade de Ciências e Letras da Unesp. Para os organizadores da obra discutir o tema, principalmente no que concerne à transparência dos sistemas de gestão, é extrema importância para apontar direções para uma renovação política, articulações sociais e desenvolvimento socioterritorial. Eles explicam que a análise de marcos legais, fragilidades institucionais e prática autoritárias permitem enxergar o seu contrário e, com isso, aprimorar a prática de políticas públicas voltadas ao desenvolvimento de um país sustentado na democracia e na cidadania ativa. O livro é divido em quatro eixos temáticos. O inicial apresenta artigos que analisam a cidadania relacionada à saúde, gênero, prevenção ao abuso sexual e juventude. Abarca temas como o Sistema Único de Saúde, os movimentos e grupos feministas e abuso sexual. O seguinte destaca temas ligados à educação, também relacionados à cidadania, como o financiamento da educação e a educação em presídios paulistas. Desenvolvimento e combate às desigualdades sociais norteiam os estudos da terceira parte. São três artigos que tratam da complexidade da produção de políticas baseadas no diálogo entre pares institucionais, como representantes de governos e sociedade civil. O capítulo final é dedicado ao tema controle social e aperfeiçoamento da democracia. Os artigos abordam a questão do monitoramento das políticas e investimentos públicos por parte da sociedade civil.

In the area of humanities, especially in Literature, can cause estrangement that perform research related to the creation of the database. It can imagine at first that tries to bring complex concepts such as "literature", "reading" and "literacy" to quantifications. However, it should be noted that the formation of these banks can contribute to the consolidation of research networks, with consequent exchange of information and references, including researchers from different and distant regions of country. Precisely because of this diverse spatiality, providing that the Federation units realize their research capacities and performance in certain areas brings significant elements for the advancement of scientific and cultural. In the case of this research aimed to briefly describe some clues about memories of reading teachers in the Literature, the region known as Norte Pioneiro, of Paraná State and the neighboring region with that, demarcated by the counties between Assis and Ourinhos from São Paulo State, enrolled in a specialized course, to contemplate works of juvenile literature.

Cálculo e implementação do índice de Desenvolvimento da Gestão Municipal (IDGM) no município de Itabaiana/Se

The scarcity of resources which frequently confronts the State, coupled with demands to provide assistance to a needy population, requires that public administrators formulate efficient and effective policies to pursue its goals. It is fundamental that such policies are based on solid information of existing conditions. As such, the availability of reliable and updated socio-economic indicators is an important tool on which to fundament public policies. The present paper aims to present a Municipal Development Index – Municipal Management Development Index (IDGM) – calculated for the city of Itabaiana/SE, and is divided in two sections. The first discusses the concept of economic development and the evolution of measurement frameworks, with emphasis on the IHD and some of its limitations. The second section describes an estimated IDGM for the city of Itabaiana, as well as its methodology, results, and a brief comparative analysis with four municipalities from the state of São Paulo. Itabaiana’s IDGM reached 849 points (the maximum is 1.000), which infers a good developmental condition.
