The spatial formation of Rio Claro city preserves several features of the problematic transition from the slave to remunerated labor in the late 20th, when the tacit ethnic bipolar sociability standard emerged, imprinting “black” and “white” forms to the city’s urban space. The ethnic social clubs José do Patrocínio and Tamoio, are two objects of ethnic groups’ exclusive use. Such ethnic social clubs indicate the existence of conflicts in their formation, as well as in their present existence, they are forms that preserve in themselves the codes and histories of the local black movement’s fight for their rights and for an autonomous place in the local society. In the present context the spaces are increasingly subjected to commercial interests and the spirits are embedded in confusion. What is the value of these spaces for the subjects who built them? The versions and narratives from oral accounts will allow us to understand the existing dimensions in the relation between the places and the memory, evidencing the importance of the patrimony and the patrimonial policies to the cities in the present historical period of geographic space globalization

A dimensão dialógica e a prática educativa: reflexões a partir de Paulo Freire e Humberto Maturana

Ao observarmos o cotidiano nas escolas é possível constatar que nem sempre se reconhece e se valoriza a diferença e a singularidade que caracteriza cada sujeito envolvido, pois ocorrem situações de negação mútua entre alunos, entre alunos e professores e entre outras relações do espaço escolar que ferem a dignidade humana. Uma alternativa a essa realidade é a promoção de vivências dialógicas. Nesse sentido, objetivamos com este trabalho: Refletir sobre as contribuições teórico-conceituais desenvolvidas por Paulo Freire e por Humberto Maturana acerca da vivência do diálogo, suas possibilidades e impasses nas relações sociais e na relação educativa; e identificar, a partir de um estudo de caso realizado em uma escola da Rede Pública Estadual, as concepções dos educadores sobre a prática dialógica no cotidiano escolar. Para Freire, o diálogo é o encontro e a partilha de concepções de A com B e não de A sobre B ou vice versa, sendo que nesta relação é importante que ambos se disponham à escuta mútua reconhecendo a diversidade de concepções que estimula a curiosidade epistemológica. Para Maturana, a partir da Biologia, cada ser vivo se constitui como uma organização autopoiética, ou seja, tem a tarefa de produzir-se a si próprio, estabelecendo relações com o meio. Na existência humana, essas interações com o meio e entre os humanos se estabelecem num entrelaçamento de emoções e ações, que ele nomeia de conversação. A partir das reflexões pelos autores e o diálogo estabelecido com sujeitos da pesquisa destacamos: 1) As relações sociais se mantêm quando há aceitação do outro como legítimo outro na convivência, o que implica a aceitação de si próprio; 2) O diálogo cria um clima de aceitação para com a história e a diferença do outro, o que favorece relações de partilha de ideias e de releitura coletiva do mundo. Educação e modos de subjetivação no capitalismo contemporâneo: reflexões a partir de Zygmunt Bauman

The article aims to give a brief reflection about education in the context of consumer society from the contemporary society analyzes performed by polish sociologist Zygmunt Bauman. It’s highlighted the relationship between the educational institution and the discourse of the market and consumption that building practices that feedback into the practices and values defended by contemporary capitalism. Also it is indicated the effects produced by this relationship on the question of teaching and learning and teacher training. Finally, the article analyzes the dilemmas of the current school in the face of the weakening of human relations and their role in addressing of the problems identified.

This work explores the flash mobs, which are flash mobilizations arranged by intent that involve a large number of people to do something together in a pre-arranged place. With the advent of 2.0 Internet, the sharing of information and the mobile virtual communication grown up and showed behavior of an individual person to meet for a common interest. Those affective relationships born in the social networks come to the urban space in a real-virtual space junction and the possibilities of that are unexplored yet. Studied by this work, the Y generation is the flash mob most popular public and uses those mobilizations to reinforce their fan identity and appreciation for a media product

Rugby, sob o olhar da agressividade

Rugby, English origin of sport, has as its origin in the late nineteenth century, and features a large number of fans in Brazil, this number that has had a significant increase. And as you know, in human relationships that take place between the competitors, technical and audience go through the various feelings and emotional fields, creating space for all kinds of possibilities, including aggression. Thus the aim of this study was to investigate factors involving bullying by the Rugby game. Given the large number of materials found in the literature dealing with the theme of aggression, a survey in the literature was conducted to investigate the theme of aggression relationship with Rugby. The literature review was made up of journals, theses and materials found in online news, blogs in order to streamline the text. It can be concluded that despite a very physical contact sport the issue of aggression is wide and is related to many factors

Praça comercial em Bauru-SP

A partir da problemática dos centros comerciais fechados e que se relacionam pouco ou nada com seu entorno, principalmente áreas públicas, este trabalho busca estabelecer um panorama histórico do consumo, dos estabelecimentos comerciais, e sua relação com o lazer e com o encontro cada vez mais evidente, para propor uma intervenção na cidade de Bauru - SP, em uma localidade consolidada, porém alvo de questões como especulação imobiliária e falta de opções qualificadas de lazer. A área de intervenção apresenta uma praça pública imediatamente ao lado, a qual é bastante frequentada em determinados horários (condicionado à um consumo alimentício), porém recebe pouca manutenção. Este trabalho busca entender as relações existentes atualmente neste local e propor um novo empreendimento que diversifique as opções presentes e possa contribuir para uma melhora estrutural, cultural e social do espaço urbano

Parque da Sanbra: requalificando um vazio urbano em Ourinhos

This work consists in analyzing an urban area of the city of Ourinhos. That site was located an old industry, the 40s, the Brazilian Northeast Algodoeira Society (Sanbra). Which was shut down and the existing buildings were demolished. With the demolition, was an area unused to city, and became an urban empty in the railway area of Ourinhos. The local study is an example of what happened in many Brazilian cities, where old factories were closed, making it useless to the city and also without identity with the urban space. Therefore, this project sought the potentialities and problematics of the area and its surroundings, for the purpose to get elements to create a quality space for the life of ourinhenses and give a new use to space
