Terapia per i mali dll'uomo d'oggi, complementant l'adhesió de l'autor italià al pensament grec més metafísic amb el recordatori de moltes més savieses gregues d'índole diferent que paga la pena de tenir en compte per aplicar, emprant les seves paraules, una teràpia correcta als mals de l'home contemporani.

Miquel Àngel Riera's The Unattainable Gods (Els déus inaccessibles), or why can Platonic Western world not restore Paganism?

The aim of this article is to read accurately the novel by M. A. Riera from the point of view of the Classical Tradition and, specifically, from the perspective of the evident Platonic tradition ¿the most metaphysical Platonic love- upon which it is based. In the author¿s opinion, only this accurate reading makes us understand why certain values coming from Paganism and which were considered as such cannot be restored by the Platonic Western world.

Els Déus inaccessibles de Miquel Àngel Riera, o per què l'Occident Platònic no pot restaurar el Paganisme?

L'objectiu d'aquest article és fer una lectura acurada de la novel·la de M. A. Riera des de la perspectiva de la Tradició Clàssica i, específicament, des de l¿'vident tradició platònica -l'amor platònic més metafísic- en la qual recolza. En opinió de l'autor, només aquesta lectura acurada amb una referència constant als textos de Plató permet entendre per què alguns valors considerats com a tals pel Paganisme no poden ser restaurats per l'Occident Platònic.

Thanks to a powerful intellectual weapon, paradox, Oscar Wilde also discovers the dark side of both Classicism and Hellenism. An accurate analysis of his works from the point of view of the Classical Tradition shows an Oscar Wilde who is quite different from the usual Philhellenic one and, above all, from the Platonic one. The aim of this article is to approach a theme which has been hardly studied by classical philologists, that is, anti-classicism and anti-hellenism as an intellectual urge.

Éros en la Física de l'Estoïcisme Antic (Per què Crisip pensà en una fel·lació cosmogònica?)

L'objectiu d'aquest article no és tan sols mostrar el paper que la Física de l¿Estoïcisme Antic atorgà a éros, sinó també desxifrar l'al·legoria eròtica, una fellatio cosmogònica, que Crisip introduí en les seves Cartes Eròtiques. El significat d¿aquesta gosadia intel·lectual esdevé clar quan analitzem els textos d'acord amb la interpretació al·legòrica de textos practicada pels estoics i quan analitzem també l'enodatio nominum del terme stóma.

The aim of this article is to show how, although the poet finds himself materialist or both Presocratic and Aristotelian, his poetic emotiveness is truly Platonic or idealist, so that that tension between reality and desire with the help of which his poetry has always been defined becomes once more confirmed thanks to the analysis of his poems from a philosophical rather than a literary point of view.

The aim of this article is to show, by means of an accurate philological analysis of Plautarch's Eroticus, how Western Ethics has been clearly sexualized. Indeed, the specific features of masculine bodies become the suitable ones to define what is really ethical, while the specific features of feminine bodies become in their turn the suitable ones to define what is by no means ethical.

La Ismenodora de L'Eròtic de Plutarc. (La Cultura Occidental ha "sexualitzat" -i. e. "masculinitza"- l'Ètica?)

L'objectiu d'aquest article és, mitjançant l'anàlisi filològica acurada de l'Eròtic de Plutarc i dels arguments de Protògenes, defensor de l'amor pederàstic, mostrar l'evident sexualització de l'ètica occidental, ja que els atributs propis del cos masculí esdevenen definidors d'una ètica saludable, mentre que els atributs del cos femení defineixen la baixesa ètica.

Algunes reflexions crítiques al voltant de la lectura de Michel Foucault de L'Eròtic (Amatorius) de Plutarc

L'objectiu d'aquest article és fer una reflexió crítica de la lectura de M. Fouccault de l'Eròtic de Plutarc en la seva Histoire de la sexualité, posant especial èmfasi en el fet que, en contra del que afirma el pensador francès, el centre del debat no és, en opinió de l'autor, el tema del veritable plaer, l'obtingut per l'erastés del seu erómenos o l'obtingut pel marit de la muller, sinó la necessitat d'atribuir també éros i amistat (éros kaì philia) a l'amor matrimonial.

Some critical reflections on Michel Foucault's reading of Plutarch's Eroticus (Amatorius)

This aim of this article is to reflect on Michel Foucault's reading of Plutarch's Eroticus in his Histoire de la sexualité, putting emphasis on the fact that, against what it is affirmed by the French thinker, the real debate is not, in the author's opinion, about true pleasure, that obtained by the erastés from his erómenos or that obtained by husbands from their wives, but the need to assign also love and friendship (éros kaì philia) to the conjugal love.

Eros in the Physics of Ancient Stoicism (Why did Chrysippus think of a cosmogonal fellatio?)

The aim of this article is to show not only what is the role played by eros in the Physics of the Ancient Stoicism but also to discover the meaning of the allegorical fellatio, a cosmogonal fellatio, which was introduced by Chrysippus in his Erotic Letters. The meaning of this intellectual boldness becomes quite clear if the texts are analyzed in accordance with the allegorical interpretation developed by the Stoics and when we also analyze the enodatio nominum of the word stóma.

L'objectiu d'aquest article és mostrar la secular tradició misògina occidental des dels seus orígens a Grècia tot analitzant un text de l'intèrpret al·legoric de la Bíblia Filó d'Alexandria, el De opificio mundi, al qual aplica una lectura fortament platonitzant. L'anàlisi acurada dels capítols dedicats a la creació divina de la dona i les seves conseqüències mostra fins a quin punt no és possible entendre aquest text sense tenir en compte una tradició filosòfica grega ja aleshores secular.

The aim of this article is to show which are the dramatic "yields" of the inclusion of the reference to the goddess Diana in Tennessee Williams's Cat on a Hot tin Roof. In the author's opinion, it does not deal simply with a meaningful reference; on the contrary, the accurate analysis of Williams's text proves that it is a true nuclear and cohesive element of the whole drama.
