Refere-se o presente modelo a um acessório de proteção individual, para aplicação de agrotóxicos, que cobre e protege toda a parte frontal do corpo do operário, desde a parte inferior do pescoço, as frentes do tórax, das coxas e das pernas até encontrar os pés, cobrindo parcialmente, também, as partes internas das pernas. É fixado no corpo por fitas fixadas nas extremidades da parte que contorna o pescoço e na altura da cintura, que são amarradas na parte de trás do pescoço e da cintura, respectivamente. A parte inferior é fixada por fitas elásticas na altura do "cavalo" das coxas e logo acima dos joelhos e dos tornozelos. Opcionalmente e, de acordo com as necessidades das atividades que o operário realiza são afixadas mangas compridas e/ou "capa", podendo ser confeccionado com plásticos imperméaveis ou tecidos sintéticos, tipo Tyvek.

Resistência contra ectoparasitas em bovinos da raça Crioula Lageana e meio-sangue Angus avaliada em condições naturais

This study was carried out to evaluate the breed resistance against ectoparasites infestations in Crioula Lageana and crossbred Angus male calves under natural condition. Ten weaned and neutered male calves (6-8 months) of each group were kept together in winter and summer pastures in Monte Castelo, Santa Catarina State. Every 28 days, female ticks (Rhipicephalus (Boophilus) microplus) more than 4 mm long were counted on the right and left side of the body of each animal, as well as the D. hominis nodules. Coat thickness also was measured at each sampling and all animals were classified according coat color. Crioula Lageana group was less infested by D. hominis than crossbred Angus in five times and by ticks in the infestation peak (P<0.05). There were no differences in the distribution of the ticks and grubs between animal body sides. Dark-haired animal in both groups were the most susceptible.

This experimental project consists of a proposal for an editorial product in a magazine format that approaches in its pages the aspects on the use of social media on internet. For the production of the reports the spheres of sociability, leisure and professional development were explored. The editorial product approached the editorials of sociability, leisure, culture, ethics, consumption, politics and sports. The influence of the social media was demonstrated in the scope of each of these editorials. The magazine, named Follow, was elaborated in order to reach readers ranging from 21 to 60 years old, with an accessible language. The first edition of Follow was concluded in November 2010, with the format 17,5 X 25,4 cm. The magazine has 40 pages of editorial content and 4 pages corresponding to the cover and back cover. Follow’s production proposed itself as a contribution to the practices of editorial innovation in the communication market

Artemidia independente: Vidas Imperfeitas, o quadrinho em um diálogo entre linguagem e suporte

The term “independent media art” expresses an artistic-scientific process performed in the Art- Science Communication interface presented as Final Paper in Visual Arts baccalaureate modality. The first part consists in gather, in artisticscientific research, an overview of the production of independent comics, mainly in Brazil, as well as some of the manifestations that were derived from it. The identification is made from bibliographical and iconographical survey, both printed and virtual materials. The second part discusses the production of a comic of my own - Imperfect Lives - published independently. This work is inserted in the line of research “Artistic Processes and Procedures” of the Department of Fine Arts of the Art Institute of UNESP and describes: Creative process, production, dissemination and influences. The third and final section brings together the work done by me during the four-year course, whose theme has some relation with comics. Experiments are in various media, using one or another characteristic intrinsic to them. The monography includes as an appendix a copy of each issue of the fanzine Imperfect Lives. The methodology used was Freinetiana Educational Cybernetics, developed in the research group “Art media and Videoclip”, whose leading advisor is the one from this Final Paper. The result and discussion of the artistic research and scientific monography were reported in the following versions: PDF File repository for dissemination in the virtual library of the Institute of Arts. Hardcover version for physical collection in the Library of the Institute of Arts. Paper version for the committee. Template version appropriate for submission to International Scientific Congress in the area of Arts

Artemídia escrevente: a caligrafia entre a arte e o design

The term “writing media art” expresses an artisticscientific process performed in the Art-Science Communication interface presented as Final Paper in Visual Arts baccalaureate modality. The first part gathers, in artistic-scientific research, a historical overview of the relation between image and writing, which its main focus is calligraphy and its different expressions in art and design, including their interrelations. The identification is made from bibliographical and iconographical survey, both printed and virtual materials. This approach involves the selection of authors’ statements and comments in order to offer a deeper historical basis, since it comes to facts and events. The second part relates to the set of works produced during the four-year period of the Visual Arts course, including a reflection about the creation process and all that surrounds it – influences, memories, visions etc. – to finally establish a connection between all these elements in order to make clear this incredible web of creation. This work is inserted in the line of research “Artistic Processes and Procedures” of the Department of Fine Arts of the Art Institute of UNESP and describes: creative process, production and influences. Análise da influência da concentração de feixeis de fibras de bambu em ensaios de piso

Bamboo has one of the highest growth rates among plants, however, its lignifications (which confers resistance) takes around a few years and, therefore, certain physical characteristics and mechanical, that depend on this process will only be acquired between the three to six years old. In addition, bamboo also has significant density variations in different parts of the stem, both in the radial direction as the axial. In particular the radial direction, where the density found in the inner and outer (near the bark) of a single stem can range on average from 0.5 to 0.9 g/cm3. Thus, the application of bamboo as a floor, there to examine whether both sides of the bamboo (internal and external), provide resistance properties required for that purpose. In this study sought to characterize and quantify the influence of the concentration of fiber bundles in the inner and outer sides of rules or bamboo strips of bamboo flooring through testing service. Analyses performed were based on ASTM D 2394- 83 for wooden floors and derivatives. This was necessary because of the absence of a specific prohibition of the use and testing of floors made of bamboo and its products. The data were analyzed by ball indentation test shooting, test for resistance to abrasion, indentation test for stress / load treadmill test and by indentation loads applied to small areas - test the jump. The results of the tests were extremely friendly bamboo, even this presents considerable differences between the resistances obtained from assay of the cover of the inner and outer face, being comparable with those of many commonly used to manufacture wood flooring. Os ídolos nas revistas teen: uma análise de Atrevida, Capricho e Todateen

This study aims to conduct a comparative analysis of the cover stories of magazines Atrevida, published by Escala, Capricho, published by Abril, and Todateen, published by AltoAstral, published between 2008 and 2012, which give prominence to the phenomena with more recurring presence on the covers. The objective of the research is to analyze the criteria for newsworthiness adopted by publications targeting a teenage audience, relating them to cover highlights involving idols of that audience. As object, we study the press coverage given to four magazines phenomena of cultural industry: the actors in the Twilight saga, the actors of the Disney Channel series, singer Justin Bieber and actors of Brazilian soap opera Rebelde. The work begins with a history of magazine journalism, from its origin to the journalism geared toward teenage readers, through the history of women's magazines and variety. Then, we present the theoretical concepts from the Theory News (Traquina) in confrontation with the notions of consumption (Canclini) and behavior (Featherstone). Finally, analysis of the corpus, which was defined by a cutout thematic within this period, divided into two major groups of news reports: those in which the idol is the news, and those in which he serves as a guide for the reader

Governament organizations has as challenge for their governance the requirement ro improve evaluation system that measure the acting of their mediations and profefer for society informations about achievements. The text analyze the challenges and advances of evaluation tools for produce guidelines that could be inserted at context of decision-making from public agents. Thereunto informations must be reliable and real-time, creating vectors of haste for modernization of informational capacity of State as a whole.

Influencia del número de capas de adhesivo en la conductancia hidraúlica en dentina humana

The aim of this study was to compare the hydraulic conductance in human dentin disks, where 1, 2 or 3 layers of adhesive Single Bond 2(SB2) and Single Bond Universal(SBU) were applied. 84 1 mm. thick(+/- 0.1 mm.) dentin disks were fabricated. Samples were divided into 7 groups (n = 12) Control (without adhesive), A1: one layer of SB2, A2: two layers SB2, A3: three layers SB2, B1: one layer SBU, B2: two layers of SBU, B3: three layers of SBU. The results as averages for the hydraulic conductance of each separate group were: Control (0.0363), A1 (0.0206), A2 (0.0070), A3 (0.0061), B1 (0.0161), B2 (0.0062), B3(0.0056) expressed µl/min.cm2. There is statistically significant difference CH, between the control group and those samples that one coat was applied (p = 0.000) and also between the application of one and two layers (p = 0.000). No difference between the two adhesives (p = 0.434). Summary Key words: Dentin, conductance, difussion adhesive layers.

Antimicrobial susceptibility to b-lactams and metronidazole of microorganisms isolated from chronic and aggressive periodontitis

The objective of this study was to evaluate the microbial susceptibility to ß-lactams and metronidazole, and evaluate the production of ß-lactamases by microorganisms isolated from patients with chronic or aggressive periodontitis. The samples were obtained from 50 patients with periodontitis and microorganisms were isolated onto selective and nonselective culture media, identified by biochemical methods and tested for susceptibility to antimicrobial agents (amoxicillin, amoxicillin/clavulanate, cefoxitin, imipenem, metronidazole, penicillin G). The isolates were resistant to at least 1 mg/ml of any drug tested were evaluated to verify the production of ß-lactamases by the method of double layer (or biological) and chromogenic cephalosporin using nitrocefin. The results evidenced resistance to amoxicillin and penicillin G, while the susceptibility to association amoxicillin/clavulanate, imipenem and cefoxitin was widely disseminated among the organisms. Resistance to these drugs showed a clear correlation with the production of ß-lactamase in the majority of microbial groups.

Suplemento literário e eventos do mercado editorial: o jornalismo cultural do caderno Prosa & Verso

Ao refletir sobre a esfera do jornalismo sob influência da lógica mercadológica, esta pesquisa contextualiza teoricamente o cenário atual das características e tendências do jornalismo, especificamente o jornalismo cultural praticado pelo caderno Prosa & Verso, o suplemento literário do jornal carioca O Globo. O presente estudo tem por objetivo estudar a cobertura jornalística do citado suplemento, identifi- cando os valores-notícia presentes nas reportagens de capa, especificamente nos períodos referentes ao ano de 2008 em que ocorrem a Feira Literária Internacional de Paraty e a Bienal Internacional do Livro de São Paulo. Tratando, portanto, da cobertura de eventos do mercado editorial, propõe-se uma análise e reflexão acerca das tensões existentes entre campo jornalístico e campo literário, focando a influência da citada lógica mercadológica na produção jornalística. Com a elaboração da análise dos suplementos veiculados durante a ocorrência de ambos os eventos e a partir das relações entre produção da notícia, imposições de mercado e espetacularização na indústria cultural, verifica-se, entre outras questões, que a notícia não escapa da necessidade de possuir valor de troca, mesmo quando se trata do jornalismo cultural, uma vez que a cultura também tem sua própria economia.
