Estructura y tipología de las "estimes-manifests" en Cataluña (Siglos XIV-XV)

Este artículo es una recapitulación y una puesta al día de nuestros actuales conocimientos sobre los libros de estimes o de manifests confeccionados en los municipios catalanes durante la Edad Media. Para ello se revisa la situación historiográfica, se plantea el estado de la cuestión sobre la materia y se abordan los principales problemas planteados entorno a la confección de los libros de estimes o de manifest a partir de un significativo elenco de ejemplos locales. Además del particularismo geográfico, el trabajo no olvida el enfoque evolutivo. Pese a la variadísima casuística existente, debida a que no existió un marco normativo único o general, se analizan los criterios que cada municipio puso en práctica en la elaboración de las estimes o manifests y se repasan los procedimientos seguidos tanto en la declaración de los bienes como los relativos a la tipología de la riqueza anotada.

Molecular phylogeography of the nose-horned viper (Vipera ammodytes, Linnaeus (1758)): evidence for high genetic diversity and multiple refugia in the Balkan peninsula

The nose-horned viper (Vipera ammodytes) occurs in a large part of the south-eastern Europe and Asia Minor. Phylogenetic relationships were reconstructed for a total of 59 specimens using sequences from three mitochondrial regions (16S and cytochrome b genes, and control region, totalling 2308 bp). A considerable number of clades were observed within this species, showing a large genetic diversity within the Balkan peninsula. Splitting of the basal clades was evaluated to about 4 million years ago. Genetic results are in contradiction with presently accepted taxonomy based on morphological characters: V. a. gregorwallneri and V. a. ruffoi do not display any genetic difference compared with the nominotypic subspecies (V. a. ammodytes), involving that these subspecies can be regarded as synonyms. High genetic divergence in the central part of the Balkan peninsula is not concordant with low morphological differentiation. Finally, the extensive genetic diversity within the Balkan peninsula and the colonisation routes are discussed

Yearbook of Private International Law, Volume XIV, 2012/2013

The "Yearbook of Private International Law" provides all about the conflict of laws developments of 2012 and 2013 in one book: Volume XIV (2012/2013) includes contributions on the proposed codification of the General Part of Private International Law in Europe, on the reform of the Chinese legal system as well as on defamation and violation of personality rights (the latter in a whole section). Furthermore, the book deals with the application of EU legislation on jurisdiction and enforcement of judgements, the recognition of judgements overturned by another judgement, and the conflict of decisions in international arbitration. Reports and court decisions from the Netherlands, Turkey, India, Finland, Croatia and Switzerland and a summary of two dissertations on the role of sovereignty and choice of courts agreements complete the book.

Coreografiant el passat : la dansa a la cort de Lluís XIV : notació i criteris d'interpretació

Aquest projecte estudia la dansa francesa dels segles XVII i XVIII i la seva relació amb la interpretació musical. A partir de les fonts de l’època (tractats, coreografies i testimonis) s’han analitzat els components de la dansa i la seva significació social en el context de la cort de Lluís XIV a Versalles. L’objectiu final es oferir al músic actual alguns elements necessaris que contribueixin a la interpretació d’un repertori molt habitual i sobre el qual es basa molta de la música instrumental de l’època. La cultura de la dansa formava part de la quotidianitat del músic d’abans: música i dansa eren elements inseparables. Per tant, l’intèrpret de música històrica actual hauria de considerar-la com un element constitutiu per la formació de criteris d’interpretació històricament informats.
