Contenido de trabajo en las exportaciones manufactureras mexicanas, 2008 y 2012

En este trabajo se presenta una estimación del número de puestos de trabajo contenidos en las exportaciones manufactureras mexicanas en 2008 y 2012, basada en las matrices de insumo-producto elaboradas por el Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía (INEGI). Se presentan los datos de trabajo directo (el necesario para producir los bienes exportados) e indirecto, es decir, el trabajo contenido en los insumos nacionales incorporados en las exportaciones, más el empleo generado por todas las repercusiones indirectas derivadas de la producción de los bienes intermedios que se incorporan en ellas. El empleo en las exportaciones se desagrega por sectores manufactureros exportadores y por sectores donde el empleo es creado. Dado que cualquier sector exportador requiere bienes intermedios que se producen en el mismo sector o en otros, el trabajo indirecto contenido en las exportaciones es dividido entre empleo indirecto intrasectorial e intersectorial.

Natal has come through major changes in the last 150 years, since the actions of city beautification, in the 19th century, until the present day, when such transformations start to have the objective of including the city in the competition for the attraction of the capital flows and consumption, domestically and in a foreign sense. It is thought that the first initiatives aimed at increasing tourism in Natal occurred in the 1960s, however, it became apparent that only from the 1980s was there a significant increase in tourist activities in Natal and the Metropolitan Region, especially on the east coast of the state of Rio Grande do Norte, leading to an expansion of the labour market, the significant increase of foreign investment, territorial changes of great impact and the production of buildings primarily intended for the hotel industry and second residence for European tourists. Since then, the incentives for tourist activity in the state have been maintained and even increased, based on tourism aimed at natural beauties, local cuisine and events, which transformed the tourist activity in one of the main sources of foreign exchange for the city of Natal. In the early 21st century, the construction of high-rise condominiums, monuments (including the designer ones), such as the Parque da Cidade, designed by Oscar Niemeyer, were already established. Also, shopping centers and, in order to host the World Cup, the new football stadium, the Arena das Dunas, among others, which were aimed at local and foreign consumers, especially European, stood out in the city. It is understood that these new buildings, monuments and also renovations and restorations that were deployed in the city of Natal aimed at constructing a new identity for the city, within the process of capitalist development and urban spectacle. It is considered that the monuments and the iconic buildings are attributes of the cities aimed at selling locations as goods, establishing a new urban environment, a new role as cities, which aimed at seeking greater autonomy from the nation-state. In this research, it was sought to analyze the architectural object, that is, buildings and monuments built or restored in Natal and its relevance to the city marketing promoted by the city itself. It was found that, indeed, such buildings and monuments are inserted in contemporary architectural production as a basis for increasing the competitive nature of Natal. In addition, they reveal a capitalist mode of production, supported by public resources, operating in the production of urban space with a view to repeating the hegemonic model of a competitive city

Inter-relação entre lesão cervical não cariosa e comprometimento periodontal: diagnóstico, tratamento e previsibilidade - estudo clínico prospectivo e laboratorial

The coexistence of gingival recession (GR) with root coverage indication and non-carious cervical lesions (LCNC) generates the need for a protocol that respects and promotes health of dental and periodontal tissues and allows treatment predictability. The main objectives of this theses were: (1) verify, through clinical evaluations, the connective tissue graft for root coverage on direct and indirect restorations made of ceramic resin; (2) analyze the influence of the battery level of the LED curing unit in the composite resin characteristics; (3) assess the influence of restorative materials, composite resin and ceramics, on the viability of gingival fibroblasts from primary culture. Nine patients with good oral hygiene and occlusal stability diagnosed with LCNCs the anterior teeth including premolars associated with gingival recession (class I and II of Miller) and only gingival recession were selected. After initial clinical examination, occlusal adjustment was performed and the patients had their teeth randomized allocated on direct composite resin restoration of LCNC, polishing and GR treatment with connective tissue graft and advanced coronally flap CR group (n = 15); and indirect ceramic restoration of the LCNC's and GR treatment (CTG+CAF) Group C (n = 15). The GR presented teeth with no clinically formed LCNCs cavity were treated using (CTG+CAF) being the control group (n = 15). Sorption and solubility tests, analysis of the degree of conversion and diametral tensile strength were performed in composite resin samples (n = 10) photoactivated by 100, 50 and 10% battery charge LED unit. The viability of fibroblasts on composite resin, ceramics and dentin disks (n = 3) was examined. Clinical follow-up was performed for three months. The data obtained at different stages were tabulated and subjected to analysis for detection of normal distribution and homogeneity. The results showed that: the LED unit with 10% battery affects the characteristics of the composite resin; restorative materials present biocompatibility with gingival fibroblasts; and the association of surgical and restorative treatment of teeth affected by NCCL and GR presents successful results at 3-month follow-up.

Quintus Curtius before his sources: the episode of Alexander and the Scythians on the Tanais

Quintus Curtius found in his sources a speech where a Scythian censured Alexander, followed by the King’s reply. Curtius drastically abridged this second discourse in order to highlight the criticism of the Macedonian. The Scythian’s words have a striking rhetorical language and some allusions taken from Greek literature, in addition to possible indirect references to Caligula. Curtius declares that he follows his source word-for-word aiming to justify these inconsistencies, but also trying to hide the manipulations he has done to achieve his own narrative purposes.

Método para la cuantificación fluoirimétrica de la enzima LDH en disolución

La invención está dirigida al desarrollo de un método y creación de un kit para la cuantificación del efecto citotóxico y/o viabilidad celular ante agentes químicos (elemento, compuesto, mezcla o fármaco en cualquier de sus estados) y/o físicos (i.e. iluminación, temperatura, turbulencia, fluidodinámica, etc.) que puedan producir rotura de la membrana celular. El kit mide la liberación de la enzima citoplasmática lactato deshidrogenasa (LDH) proveniente de células muertas y/o lisadas. Esta enzima cataliza la oxidación del lactato, presente en el kit, a piruvato. Durante la reacción, el NAD+, también presente en el kit, es reducido a NADH. La concentración de LDH, se cuantifica a través de la fluorescencia del NADH formado. Las mediciones indirectas de la enzima LDH se realizan en el sobrenadante de cultivos celulares. El método es aplicable tanto en medios inorgánicos para microalgas como en medios comerciales para células animales y de insecto.

El complejo régimen que disciplina la responsabilidad civil por daños derivados del acoso escolar

El acoso escolar en todas sus manifestaciones (directas e indirectas) encaja y puede ser penado conforme a diversos tipos delictivos que, además del reproche criminal que merecen, conforme a la legislación penal del menor, producen un daño efectivo, que nadie tiene obligación de soportar (menos un menor de edad); por lo que ese daño, injustamente causado, da lugar al nacimiento de la correspondiente responsabilidad civil. Sin embargo, en nuestro ordenamiento jurídico coexisten una pluralidad de regímenes jurídicos «injustificables» que disciplinan una misma realidad jurídica en materia de Derecho de daños. Nuestro trabajo analiza, el distinto régimen regulador de la responsabilidad civil, en función del tramo de edad del menor y en función de si la legislación a aplicar es la civil (menores de 14 años) o la derivada de la LORPM (14 a 18 años). Diferencias sustantivas y procesales también, en función de si el hecho ilícito causante del daño y en que se subsumen las conductas de acoso escolar o ciberacoso está o no tipificado penalmente (ilícito penal o ilícito civil). Lo que, como se ha dicho, dará lugar a la aplicación de regímenes jurídicos diferenciados y a órdenes jurisdiccionales distintos (civil, contencioso y jurisdicción de menores) para su enjuiciamiento; ya sea condenado el Centro docente (público, privado o concertado), la propia Administración Educativa o los padres del menor o menores infractores. De ello nos ocupamos para clarificar la cuestión aportando las soluciones que adoptan los Tribunales.
