O comércio interno no Pará oitocentista: atos, sujeitos sociais e controle entre 1840-1855

Na segunda metade do século XIX, os discursos dos presidentes da Província do Pará enfatizavam os ideais de progresso econômico local, que seria alcançado através do restabelecimento dos negócios e do comércio entre as diversas vilas e cidades da região. Para isso, lançavam a proposta de se organizar o mercado interno e se instalar companhias de comércio e navegação a vapor para dinamizar essas atividades comerciais. Porém, essas idéias políticas também atentavam para a necessidade de se implementar o controle fiscal, diante da ação do comércio clandestino. A partir das fontes impressas e da historiografia sobre o tema, analisam-se essas idéias e políticas entendendo nelas os argumentos e as finalidades da implementação da navegação a vapor voltada para o abastecimento interno da província e para o incremento do comércio de exportação. O objetivo deste trabalho é estudar essas políticas sobre a navegação fluvial e a fiscalização das atividades comerciais que burlavam as ações do fisco, fato sobre o qual reincidem as falas das autoridades da província.

Discurso do desenvolvimento sustentável: a polêmica relação entre preservação ambiental e desenvolvimento econômico

Esta pesquisa tem como intuito investigar a polêmica fundadora do discurso do desenvolvimento sustentável. Trata-se de observar de que modo o posicionamento do desenvolvimento sustentável constituiu a sua identidade a partir das relações interdiscursivas que mantém com seus Outros do espaço discursivo, a saber, o posicionamento desenvolvimentista e o posicionamento ambientalista. Busca-se examinar os simulacros que o posicionamento do desenvolvimento sustentável, na posição de discurso-agente, constrói dos seus Outros discursivos, na posição de discurso paciente, a partir do processo de interincompreensão regrada e, concomitantemente, a imagem que ele procura estabelecer de si Mesmo. O corpus desta investigação é formado por textos que circulam em dois veículos de comunicação especializados na temática ambiental: o site do Instituto Akatu e o Portal do Meio Ambiente. A abordagem desse corpus dar-se-á com base na perspectiva teórica e metodológica de Análise do Discurso francesa, essencialmente os conceitos de polêmica como interincompreensão e interdiscurso propostos por Maingueneau (2005).

Increasingly, the furniture market is competitive. The construction industry presents itself in growth, mainly due to the lines of existing incentives and tax credits established by the government, assisting the impulse to purchase real estate, building materials and furniture. Factors that promote and strengthen the sector's growth. With high demand from the furniture market, demand for higher quality and increasing technological advances, research is often undertaken in search of solutions for process improvement and product features, focusing on the production of materials less harmful to the environment, provision of raw press to lower cost, improve the production process and product development of cost-effective. This research focuses on the comparative study between two materials widely used in furniture manufacturing. MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) and MDP (Medium Density Particleboard). The subject provides the focus in furniture production, presenting and comparing data collected from three companies producing panels between physical and mechanical characteristics of the materials, also presenting some of the main factors of influence on the quality of the panels, their features and applications on mobile. The study shows the high potential of using the MDP (Medium Density Particleboard) in furniture designs, as well as MDF (Medium Density Particleboard), favoring the final terms of the project , resulting in better utilization of each material , avoiding waste and increase unnecessary cost . Currently, several projects are developed in MDP and MDF furniture, where there is no relevance to their characteristics regarding their limitations. The cylinder head contains the combustion chamber for the air-fuel mixture and the intake and exhaust valves, the valve guide and the valve seat. The cylinder head also is a support for the camshaft and valve rocker. The holes where the spark plugs are connected are designed to fit the better place in the combustion chamber. The cylinder heads often are manufactured using materials such as aluminum and cast iron. The cooling fins located in the outside of the cylinder head are designed for a good heat transfer and therefore their dimensions and positioning are important. This work aims the calculation for a cylinder head to be installed in a 400 cc displacement, gasoline powered, four stroke, single cylinder engine. According to the displacement it will be analyzed the combustion chamber, the intake and exhaust valves, as well as the camshaft and rocker arms. This also a work to help to accomplish the design of a single cylinder engine, where the alternatives parts, cylinder block and crankcase are all already machined and assembled in this campus
