The aim of this research project is to analyze the spatial productive circuit and circles of cooperation of Fairtrade coffee, taking as a case of study the Associação dos Agricultores Familiares do Córrego D'antas (ASSODANTAS), Poços de Caldas - MG. The main purpose is to analyze material flows (grains, supplies, etc.) established between geographically separated stages of production (production, exchange, distribution and consumption) and the relationships between the agents in order to analyze the organization and regulation of production of Fairtrade coffee. It is understood as the insertion of the Fairtrade ASSODANTAS to permit the creation of new production lines, adding value and providing greater identity and autonomy to their small farms, when compared with traditional coffee trade commodity

O uso corporativo do território brasileiro no período técnico-científico-informacional: o circuito espacial produtivo e círculos de cooperação da empresa Natura

In the current historical period marked by globalization and neoliberal policies have seen the pursuit of expanded reproduction of capital by corporations, which make from the deepening territorial division of labor, ie, the increasing presence of its circuit productive space within steps towards the relations between capital and labor. This capital increase is made possible mainly by exploiting precarious forms of labor. In Brazil today, much of the population enjoys the possibilities of consumption, due mainly to the policy measures implemented in the last decade, this situation favors further expansion of large companies in our territory, thus the circuit analysis of spatial production of cosmetics contributes to a political debate about the uses of the national territory. Ações de apoio à gestão das Unidades de Conservação e o Programa RPPN Paulistas da Fundação Florestal

A Fundação para a Conservação e a Produção Florestal do Estado de São Paulo – Fundação Florestal, órgão vinculado a secretaria do Meio Ambiente, tem por objetivo contribuir para a conservação, manejo e ampliação das florestas de proteção e produção do Estado de São Paulo. A regional de Botucatu atua na gestão de Unidades de Conservação (UC), sendo elas a APA (Área de Proteção Ambiental) Corumbataí – Botucatu - Tejupá, a APA Ibitinga e a APA Rio Batalha. APA é uma UC de uso sustentável destinada a proteger e conservar a qualidade ambiental e os sistemas naturais ali existentes. Além disso, atua também na criação de Unidades de Conservação, em especial as RPPNs (Reservas Particulares do Patrimônio Natural), que é uma categoria de UC privada, com o objetivo de conservar a diversidade biológica. O presente trabalho teve como objetivo descrever as atividades realizadas durante o período de estágio, em especial aquelas voltadas ao Programa RPPN Paulistas da Fundação Florestal. Sabendo que a RPPN representa uma importante participação da sociedade na conservação da biodiversidade e da grande dificuldade encontrada pelos proprietários na gestão de sua reserva, com o objetivo de ampliar as estratégias do Programa RPPN Paulistas, foi desenvolvido uma entrevista com os proprietários mediante um questionário, estruturado em 5 partes, sendo elas: quanto à criação da RPPN, quanto à gestão da RPPN (Plano de Proteção e Plano de Manejo), quanto às atividades desenvolvidas na reserva, quanto ao grau de satisfação, e comentários finais, críticas e sugestões. Das 62 RPPNs reconhecidas no Estado de São Paulo, 21 proprietários participaram da pesquisa. Foi identificada a importância de parcerias entre proprietários de RPPN e as universidades. Diferentes mídias em parceria e cooperação: grandes produtoras de identidades contemporâneas

The aim of this paper is to present the results of a research in the area of Discourse Analysis, to describe discourses found in the media about the identities constructed in the Second Life virtual communities network and, to find out what discursive strategies are produced by the profile “fashion in the soap operas” hosted in the Twitter micro-blogging as an attempt to have a significant number of logfiles and to discover what leads men, women and, teenagers to participate of this “fashion in the soap operas” interaction. Our corpus consists of printed media reportings that present users of Second Life and its avatars with a proposal of new identities, including the utterances produced by the profile “fashion in the soap operas” and their respective followers. The analysis of the reports and discourses are based on the work by Michel Pêcheux and Michel Foucault. The analysis have shown that the new identities, created in virtual communities network and, the profile of the followers of “fashion in the soap operas”, hosted in Twitter, are characteristically contemporary sensibilities, who take part in the truth games and in the social pressing experimented nowadays

Avaliação de momentos fletores em estruturas de fundação tipo radier em concreto armado

It aims the comparison of these moments between an analytical plates theory and a computational numerical simulation. It is accented the details of studies about analytical theory as well the process, step by step, of a program that has as an influence the method of finite elements. The theory of plates has an extremely importance when it is talked about slabs and it takes as a base some fundamental hypotheses (that the middle point of the plate is considered flat and under formable) the points that are normal in relation to the middle surface is not considered because of its intensity that is irrelevant in comparison to the rest. The computational programs offer good results when they are applied in a correct way and, it resolves numerous functions in a short period of time. The objective is to highlight the importance of bending moments, its points of maximum and minimum, that has the objective of realize a good reinforcement sizing for a reinforced concrete. Furthermore, it can propitiate an economy in places that is demanded a small quantity of steel, before dimensioned for a load that is distributed in all the surface of the plate, at the same intensity

O continente africano e o Brasil: escravização, cooperação e intercâmbio

As reflexões e iniciativas brasileiras e africanas sobre acordos de cooperação mútua no plano científico, artístico e cultural vem crescendo nesta primeira década do século XXI visando uma integração e a constituição de mecanismo de cooperação técnico-científico a partir das história comuns que envolvem os escravismos, o tráfico, a diáspora africana, as independências e nossa identidade cultural construída no Atlântico. As universidades brasileiras através de seus centros e núcleos de pesquisas vinculados aos estudos sobre as populações afro-brasileiras e as sociedades africanas tem caminhado nesta direção de modo paulatino, mas flagrante.

Fundação Casa. a mútua descoberta da realidade do outro

In this paper we present a report of a project developed with young people who were in detention on the CASA Foundation, former FEBEM in Araraquara, in the period in which the activity occurred. Our goal with the project was twofold: that our presence at the Foundation supports the young people in that institution with leisure and social reintegration, and to enable students to make experience of new strategies for teaching undergraduate and citizenship training. The project developed there was entitled "The Art of Storytelling" and, and despite its catchy title, actually had a much less ambitious goal, which was not just enable artists to exercise the storytelling, but chiefly to raise awareness that our worldview and our inner lives are made up by micronarratives, which not only place us in the universe into which we belong and also creates our own identity. Having this perspective as a starting point and following the theoretical assumptions of Paulo Freire, for whom the learning process is interactive and based on the exchange of experiences, we held five meetings and the experience was enriching, both for students and for the Foundation´s youngs that took part in this activity.

O consórcio do Rio Jacaré: limites e desafios para a cooperação intermunicipal e para o desenvolvimento regiona

This article has, as its main subject of reflection, a brazilian experience of intermunicipal cooperation named the "Consórcio Intermunicipal pela Conservação da Natureza na Bacia do Rio Jacaré Pepira" better known as "Consórcio do Rio Jacaré", located in São Paulo State, Brazil. Having its origin in 1985, the consortium is considered the first inter-municipal experience of cooperation witch tried to associate regional development with environmental issues. The research, qualitative in the method, designed as single case study and supported by data collected through desk research, systematized information on the projects and activities of the Consortium, pointing among the members those which effectively beneficed from the supposed cooperation, along with the difficulties faced and the context which led the consortium to the state of stagnation in which plunged after 1999. The results showed that, despite its historical and regional importance, the consortium could not be seen as a management model, being weakened by the political and institutional environment, the local realities, the absence of maturity of partners for joint cooperation, in addition to the lack of clarity on the regional dimension of the projects.
