O léxico do ribeirinho amazônico: um exemplo de sustentação e expansão de valores

A análise do léxico específico do ribeirinho põe-nos em contato não só com a praxis sócio-cultural que faz desse grupo social um grupo diferenciado de forma marcante, como também nos proporciona o conhecimento de sua dinâmica interna num espaço e tempo determinados. O campo Léxico das crenças mostra-nos como o caboclo amazônico se relaciona com o sobrenatural: encara-o como algo sempre presente em sua vida, é inclinado a lhe atribuir valor prático e se apresenta como indispensável à sua sobrevivência.

Vozes periféricas: expansão, imersão e diálogo na obra dos Racionais MC's

This paper presents a reflection on the work of the rap group from São Paulo Racionais MC's, highlighting points of dialogue between his last two studio albums: Sobrevivendo no inferno, 1997, and Nada como um dia após o outro, 2002. We found, in this discursive course, the presence of voices which intertwine and indicate a collectivized speech, seeking the identification between the slums and the group's rhetoric, but they also point out to an immersion into the subjectivity, to the problematization of the discourse itself, acting as a form of debugging of the social experience in the favela. We argue further that Sobrevivendo no inferno represents a turning point in the thinking of the quartet. Thus, themes and perspectives present, although embryonically, in the first focused album, point to dramas that take shape in the second one.

Geotecnologias para análise da expansão urbana e consequências na APP do Córrego Olinda - Rio Claro/SP

Despite the current Environmental Legislation resolution, concerning the protection of the Permanent Preservation Areas (PPA), be quite rigid, in practice, is observed noncompliance with the minimum limits of protection, especially in urban areas where, historically, the urbanization processes have been executed without compliance with the minimum standards of urban and environmental planning. Given the above, the present study aimed to analyze the urban sprawl evolution at the Olinda stream APP, located in the city of Rio Claro - SP. By means of the visual interpretation of aerial photographs in the GIS/ARCGIS environment, thematic maps of the urban sprawl of the years 1972, 1995 and 2010, as well as the Olinda Stream APP surroundings, were prepared. From the maps, it was possible to measure the occupation density for each scenario and indicate from which period the urbanization process has intensified. It was also possible to quantify the loss of vegetation area and indicate the major environmental problems in the basin of the Olinda stream. Therefore, the development of this research shows its importance, considering that its results can support the public administration, assisting in proper planning of land use and occupation in urban watersheds

Análise da expansão urbana da cidade de Piracicaba no período de 2006-2011

The fundamental objective of this research was analyzed the urban expansion’s process of municipality Piracicaba, it is located in the countryside of São Paulo state. The use and occupation of land by observing the social and environmental impacts related, including the Protection Permanent Area (PPA) of urban fringes according to the successive expansions of Piracicaba city in 2006, the publication year of the current city hall director planning, until 2011, when the approval of the eighth and most recent update of Piracicaba’s expanding the perimeter. The development of the study was conducted with the support of bibliographic, cartographic, considering maps and satellite images, further more field work. Thematic maps of the current urban expansion were created, urban voids and land use were developed, typifying the occupation according to the activities established thus through the analysis of land use through cartographic interpretation, as research in locus. To assist the research geotechnologies were used, both for production and for the interpretation of cartographic materials, specially in Geographic Information Systems

Estudo comparativo entre subestações ao tempo e subestações isoladas a gás

In this paper are compared two methods of deploying electrical substations, conventional type, when installed at open areas (Air Insulated Switchgear - AIS), and compact gas-insulated (Gas Insulated Switchgear - GIS) when installed inside buildings. With the expansion of urban centers, areas available for deployment of conventional substations become increasingly difficult to find in these locations. Also due to speculation in urban areas, it becomes feasible to install Gas Insulated Switchgear. This paper presents and evaluates criteria with advantages and disadvantages for application of the two methodologies, aiming to assist in decisionmaking moment of choice in deployment of Electric Power Substations in two scenarios. It is expected that at the end of this work, the criteria evaluated assist in this decision making

Políticas públicas, protagonismo social e comunicação na expansão da cultura no Brasil

Este trabalho analisa aspectos do contexto das políticas públicas culturais contemporâ-neas relacionadas com as ações de mobilização que envolvem a sociedade civil. A aná-lise engloba conhecimento sobre o papel do profissional de Relações Públicas na con-tribuição da execução de políticas culturais que incentivem o protagonismo social atra-vés do Programa Cultura Viva, desenvolvido pelo Ministério da Cultura, com a imple-mentação de Pontos e Pontões de Cultura, e no âmbito de movimentos sociais indepen-dentes.
