Esta animao apresenta o funcionamento e manipulao de ferramentas digitais muito utilizadas: os editores de texto, criadores apresentao de slides e geradores de planilha de clculos. Atravs de um passeio por um prdio fictcio, explica de forma sucinta cada uma, trazendo tona suas caractersticas principais.

O presente trabalho insere-se no mbito do Mestrado em Arte e Patrimnio, no Contemporneo e Actual. Pretende-se com este estudo caso valorizar uma antiga casa, dos finais do sculo XIX, que at muito recentemente serviu de residncia de famlia. Hoje, cremos ser necessrio repensar a actualidade, colocando a hiptese da valorizao destas habitaes e a sua preservao. Reflectir a sua reutilizao, apostando noutras iniciativas multidisciplinares, onde as reas da cultura e do lazer possam coexistir, e permitir, assim, a sua sustentabilidade. Deste modo, pretendemos elaborar um projecto, um espaço inovador, alternativo; criar um espaço Galeria Livraria Restaurante e/ou outros servios contribuindo assim para o desenvolvimento local Freguesia de Santo Antnio mas tambm para toda a Madeira. Ao investir nas reas da cultura e do lazer, ambicionamos atrair o pblico e possibilitar que os visitantes possam usufruir de eventos e encontros significativos, bem como a oportunidade de um maior convvio social e cultural, proporcionando a interaco e as aprendizagens informais. Na primeira parte, tratamos de alguns aspectos relacionados com a sociedade actual e a cultura. Tambm fazemos um breve estudo sobre a evoluo do Espaço Galeria em Portugal e apresentamos alguns espaços da actualidade, quer em Portugal Continental quer na Madeira. A segunda parte, refere-se ao local de implementao do espaço dinamizao de espaços e actividades culturais na Freguesia de Santo Antnio; criao e apresentao do espaço estudo caso: Reabilitao - a primeira ideia/ Ante Projecto.

Na presente dissertao prope-se analisar o turismo em espaço rural na Regio Autnoma da Madeira, focalizando o estudo na caracterizao das unidades de alojamento e na apresentao de uma proposta de um modelo de gesto da qualidade. Numa primeira parte efetuamos a contextualizao do turismo rural na Regio, apoiada numa abordagem terica e na exposio de conceitos chave, que consideramos importantes para o tema. Na segunda parte deste trabalho apresentamos metodologias de gesto a adotar nas unidades de turismo rural e uma possvel proposta de um sistema de gesto da qualidade, salientando tambm alguns aspetos importantes para a gesto dos empreendimentos, a nvel de compreenso de estratgias e de metodologias da qualidade. A ltima parte, apoia-se numa abordagem preliminar, com base num questionrio/entrevista dirigido aos proprietrios e/ou aos responsveis das unidades de alojamento de turismo rural da Regio Autnoma da Madeira, que visa caraterizar a oferta existente, compreender o perfil do gestor e a perceo do mesmo quanto aos critrios da qualidade. Para este efeito foram abrangidas 47 unidades de turismo rural.

Este trabalho consiste na criao de uma relao entre uma investigao cientfica e um relatrio da prtica pedaggica, subordinados a mesmo tema. No mbito da relao entre a sociedade e o espaço virtual, so abordadas noes referentes cibercultura, entendendo o espaço virtual como um novo espaço social. desenvolvida a ideia de que a opinio individual foi enfatizada pelas redes sociais e pelos blogues, que aliados ao facilitado acesso ao conhecimento, levaram proliferao da informao. No domnio das artes visuais so abordados temas referentes arte digital e ao desenvolvimento de prticas artsticas no espaço virtual, tal como a new media art, referindo-se trabalhos de artistas como Manfred Mohr, Charles Csuri, Gerhard Mantz, Vuk Cosic, Jodi.org e Cornelia Sollfrank. Neste campo, foi ainda, estudada a importncia dos softwares para a produo artstica digital e a relevncia das instituies virtuais para a dinamizao cultural. Por ltimo, so estabelecidas relaes entre o espaço virtual e o ensino das artes visuais, onde so analisadas questes referentes a introduo de ferramentas digitais na sala de aula, com o intuito de contribuir para a evoluo do aluno e para o melhoramento da formao profissional do docente Relativamente pratica docente nas disciplinas de Desenho B e de Histria das Artes, do Curso Tecnolgico de Multimdia, realizada na Escola Secundria de Francisco Franco, so apresentados de forma crtica e reflexiva, os procedimentos necessrios para a aplicao da componente cientfica, tais como as planificaes, propostas de trabalho e visitas de estudo. So ainda apresentadas as restantes componentes relativas prtica letiva, tais como as atividades de Direo de Turma; o acompanhamento do projeto da Associao Companhia Contigo Teatro; e as atividades de enriquecimento curricular.

O objetivo deste estudo visa compreender como as crianas e os jovens se relacionam para aprender, num espaço de socializao cultural e de contexto educativo no-formal, no campo das artes plsticas, na comunidade de prtica: Espaço das artes, no Funchal. Perceber se, nesse contexto educativo, h lugar a prticas pedaggicas inovadoras, susceptveis de estimularem o desenvolvimento do conhecimento. Para interpretar o fenmeno educativo, recorri metodologia etnogrfica, no mbito da abordagem qualitativa, observei os indivduos no seu ambiente natural recorrendo observao participante, o que implicou o contacto com alguma durao, para observar do ponto de vista de quem vai ser observado, tornando-me no outro, para depois compreender melhor pelo lado de quem est por dentro. A observao, o dirio de bordo etnogrfico, a fotografia, o udio, conversas informais e entrevistas etnogrficas foram os instrumentos utilizados; os dados foram sujeitos a anlise de contedo e as categorias da derivadas foram: o conhecimento, as competncias scio-afetivas e a inovao. Verifica-se que os aprendizes aprendem, com prazer, a desenvolver e expressar a sua capacidade criativa atravs do desenho e da pintura, num contexto de aprendizagem situada e colaborativa com monitores ou outros aprendizes mais capazes em determinada atividade e onde a instruo no organizada. Conclui-se que h indcios fortes de inovao pedaggica.

O programa de matemtica do ensino bsico revela que a escola exige uma formao slida em Matemtica para que os alunos, ao longo do seu percurso escolar, possam compreend-la e utiliz-la, mas o faam igualmente depois da escolaridade, na sua vida pessoal, profissional e social. A investigao feita visa compreender como que a Educao Matemtica Crtica e a rede social Facebook potenciam a aprendizagem crtica da Matemtica. A utilizao mais frequente desta rede social, possibilita chegar a um maior fluxo de informao/publicidade. Sob a gide da Educao Matemtica Crtica, com o objetivo de observar que alteraes ocorriam na forma como os alunos aprendiam determinados conceitos matemticos em situaes rotineiras da nossa sociedade. Esta aprendizagem pode ocorrer cooperativamente e/ou colaborativamente conforme as atividades e os alunos que realizam o estudo. O estudo realizado foi de natureza qualitativa de carter interpretativo. Os alunos realizaram trs atividades. A primeira denominada Atmosfera Terrestre para introduzir o captulo de intervalos de nmeros reais e para os discentes se familiarizarem com as ferramentas do Facebook. As outras duas foram uma publicidade de uma empresa e uma notcia sobre as tabelas de IRS para o ano de 2013. Depois de concludo esse estudo, verificou-se que os alunos no tiveram qualquer problema ao nvel do manuseamento das ferramentas proporcionadas pelo Facebook. Na atividade introdutria para o captulo de intervalo de nmeros reais, os alunos conseguiram transpor o que tinha sido discutido em espaço Facebook para a sala de aula, apresentando exemplos da referida atividade. Conseguiram retirar, atravs da matemtica, concluses e resultados muito pertinentes para uma melhor perceo do que estava implicitamente presente em cada uma das atividades. As concluses evidenciadas pelos alunos aludem que aps vrias discusses, argumentos e mesmo algum clculo matemtico conseguiram observar e justificar criticamente que algumas informaes estavam camufladas nas distintas atividades. Os alunos constaram que aps estas atividades esto mais alertas para situaes similares, o que constitui uma conquista do papel da Matemtica na sua vida.

The managing Conselho of public politics constitute one of the main experiences of democracy in Brazil contemporary representing a conquest for construction of a democratic institutionalism. The historical newness consists of the intensification and the institutionalization of the dialogue between government and society - in public and plural canals - as condition for an allocation more efficient joust and of the public resources. In this context the present study it objectified to understand from readings of the performance of represented group of bencheses the dynamics of functioning of the Tourist Conselho Plo Costa das Dunas while space of participation and social control. The bibliographical research contemplated diverse sources in order to compile knowledge of credential authors in the quarrel of inherent subjects to the civil society and the public sphere to the construction of the citizenship to the conception formation and dynamics of the social control through Conselho of public politics. A qualitative perspective the case study was adopted as research method and for attainment of the data interviews with the members of the Conselho had been carried through beyond consultation the referring documents the dynamics of functioning of the Conselho. The profiles capacities and limitations of the members of the Conselho had been identified constitution social and dynamic organization of functioning of the Conselho and the readings of the members of the Conselho concerning the power to decide instances and participation. The results had shown that the allotment of being able in the Conselho does not occur of equal form. The functions of coordination of the activities of the Conselho are assumed by the representatives of the public agencies. Level of qualification of council members also if presents as difficulty to development of activities of Conselho since the majority of the interviewed ones disclosed unreliability and unfamiliarity when thematic specific that runs away from its organizacional reality they are boarded in the assemblies. Of this form the Conselho if presents more as half of institutional legitimation of what half of characterization of the creation of a public sphere properly said. Finally he could himself be concluded that a democratic culture inexists that inside crosses practical the institutional ones of the Conselho thus limiting the possibility to reach the effective social control of the public politics of tourism in the Rio Grande do Norte

In this work we thought about the social use of the domestic space and, specifically, the space destined to the preparation of food. The kitchen is a creative space of social relationships. There the families exchange daily interaction with the neighbors, in a collective of the space reserved to the making of food. Our empiric research was in the Mutamba da Caieira community, located in the county of Assu (RN). The data was collected through the etnographic method aided by the photographic resources. In the discussion, we delimitated at the house three types of kitchens: one reserved to the family, another kitchen in the terrace and yet another kitchen in the yard. They are kitchens that link amongst themselves with activities and differentiated temporalities. In the daily social exchange, the kitchen imposes itself as a social space through the conditions that it offers for the production of the foods, the circulation of domestic objects, the communication of knowledge around the cookery, operating a group of symbolic and ritual actions combined with appropriate techniques for the transformation of the foods. The study reveals that the domestic chores accomplished amon relatives and friends form webs of intracommunitary relationships in the use of the three kitchens, and that the social network is updated in a singular moment that usually happens in the community, the Game of Pacar

In the social-historical moment we live in, it is each time more evident the necessity of the people to learn to deal with the environment in conscientious way, taking care of themselves properly through it. In this direction, considering the school as a place where children, young and adolescents spend great part of their time, this work had as objective to examine the perception of school environment for students, professors and employees of two schools in Joo Pessoa city - Centro Estadual Experimental de Ensino-Aprendizagem Sesquicentenrio and Escola Estadual de Ensino Fundamental e Mdio Presidente Emlio Garrastazu Mdici (Experimental State Center of Learning-teaching Sesquicentenrio and Basic and High State School Education Emilio Garrastazu Mdici President). From the presupposed that the environments in which and with which people live reflect their daily practices, the field work searched to identify the social-environmental practices that characterize the relation of these users with the school and, from this understanding, to infer some of their concerns regarding the environment as a whole. To analyze the use of the available physical space in the two institutions it was opted the use of the After-Occupation Evaluation, one of the approaches that feed the process of building production or built set, rescuing aspects related to its use, operation and maintenance. Besides analyzing diverse school environments (such as classroom circulations/accesses, library, pedagogical and sportive spaces) in relation to the environmental comfort and the perceptions of the main users of the schools (pupils, professors and employees), the dissertation tried to inquire the care (ambient education) of these users with the school space. In general, it was verified that the two schools have evaluations and perceptions really different for four reasons: (i) management of the schools; (ii) the users perception; (III) localization of schools and (IV) feeling of place, territoriality and appropriation

This research investigates how functionality, rationality, and emotionality applied to urban furniture design contribute to the organization, legibility, and qualification of public spaces, according to different layouts, physical and visual qualities of the urban furniture as well as the quality of urban infrastructure that may influence the uses and appropriation of urban spaces by pedestrians, turning those spaces into socially centripetal or centrifugal places. The work consists of two parts. First refers to a bibliographical review concerning two main issues of the investigation: product design and legibility of public space, defining the conceptual and theoretical bases, linked to methodological strategies aimed at systemic planning and integrated management of urban furniture design and legibility of public spaces (sidewalks), that are necessary to define the existing relationships among the user s interface (pedestrians); product (urban artifacts); built environment (sidewalks). The second part refers to the achievement of empirical approach throughout visual analysis of public spaces and the functional and qualitative evaluation of the existing urban furniture in the central neighborhood of Cidade Alta, Natal, RN, according to the theoretical researched concepts and methodological procedures. The results expose the weaknesses and levels of intensity arising from the relations among public space, urban furniture, and users, revealing the need for theoretical and practical approaches which would help the decision-making in planning, designing and integrating innovative, sustainable, and ethical solutions in order to design attractive public spaces that could provide sociability and citizenship throughout integrated public management, city systemic thinking and urban identity. The suggested guidelines at the end of this research will provide the necessary strategies to design suitable urban furniture systems according to aesthetic and practical urban infrastructure and city context, aiming to ease visual and physical conflicts that may negatively interfere with the appropriation of public spaces by the citizens

This study intends to enhance the existing knowledge concerning the patterns of the uses of space for low cost housing in Parnamirim, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil, by way of comparative morphological studies in spatial arrangements and articulations regarding three distinct, however inter-related, sets of social housing: (1) a development comprising 21 self-built houses erected on public routes and illegal plots within a tract of land originally designed to be an industrial development: (2) architect-designed houses built by the public authority in order to accommodate the previous 21 (plus a few additions) families occupying the self-built dwellings, and (3) modifications performed by dwellers on a total of those 24 houses built by the public authority after an occupation period of one year. The predominant uses of each room within the self-built and modified houses were represented in ground plan, based on empirical observation, surveys with dwellers and the use of analytical procedures of morphologic analysis of nature predominantly geometric (specific) and topology (space syntax analysis). A scale of priorities was identified in relation to the uses of each room, its geometrical arrangement (adjacency, front/back relations etc), and underlying structures (connectivity, depth and spatial integration) in order to establish congruencies and non-congruencies between a social-cultural order embedded in the self-built domestic space and the design logic contained in the houses offered by official agencies. The comparative analysis points towards the convivial existence of two tendencies: one that seems to reinforce a design logic inasmuch as the additions and modifications performed by the dwellers do not alter but even emphasize the original configuration of the designed houses, and another one in which those patterns are subverted in accordance with a logic which, to a lesser or greater degree, coincides with that of the self-built dwellings

Assuming that the form of a building shell and its content the spatial form are distinct dimensions of architecture - however indivisible and interdependent -, this study focus, in the light of the Social Logic of Space (HILLIER; HANSON, 1984), on the intrinsic properties through which domestic space was structured in a sample of single-family dwellings built in Joo Pessoa (PB) during the 1970s - when the vocabulary of modern architecture still prevailed in Brazil though sharing the urban scene with other architectural trends -, in order to investigate regularities or divergences underlying their conception. These dwellings were originally classified (ARAJO, 2010a) in five categories defined according to the form of their building shells and to their prevailing construction techniques: (1) Brazilian modern legacy (considered as truly Brazilian modern style); (2) Paulista architecture (that refers to the modern production of So Paulo, Brazil, from the 1950s through the 1970s); (3) experiences of rationalization and prefabrication ; (4) experiences of adaptation to the climate (referring to a design strongly influenced by the hot and humid climate of North-eastern Brazil); and (5) hybrid (to account for a kind of stylistic hybridism that includes formal attributes, which evoke our colonial past). This study aims to determine, through the analyses of nineteen cases that represent each category, whether this taxonomy corresponds to distinct modes of spatial configuration. This research therefore proposes an approach to the classification of domestic architecture based on topological properties. The dwellings spatial organization was represented, quantified and analyzed, their spatial properties explored in consonance with one another and with the literature. Results pointed out that there is no evidence of a reciprocal relationship between the formal look of the built shells and their respective spatial structures

The present work analyzes the fast evolution of gated communities in Natal-RNs urban space. Characterized by the occupation of large areas, providing private security and utilities, this kind of real estate use arises a long list of questions and issues from society and scholars, due to privatization of urban space, bending of law constraints and the lack of an integrated planning of the cities where they are built. The reasons for its fast growth in Brazil s urban areas are analyzed, considering the impact on formal urban planning and municipal services and on the identification of urbanistic, architectural pattern and constraints, as well as legal, social and economic issues. This study is based on the detailed analysis of the first three units of gated communities built in the urban space in Natal, between 1995 and 2003, including their evolution throughout time and the specific social and economic reasons for its present widespread adoption in Brazilian real estate market and, particulary, in our city. The main objective of this piece of work is to answer the why s and how s these phenomena evolved, setting a basis for the definition of adequate public policies and regulation of this kind of urban land use
