This study based on moral culture research and the theoretical Piagetian perspective aims to investigate the relation between virtue and rules in the procedures of participants in the Internet game Colheita Feliz (Happy Harvest) – an Orkut application. By means of descriptive qualitative analysis, the behavior of 60 participants in the game was observed during two months. The participants’ performance ranking was analyzed according to the procedures they used. The results showed predominance of the crop stealing procedure in comparison with the crop cultivation procedure and allowed to consider that the action of stealing of the participants was not guided by the universal principles of virtue, honesty or lack of it (moral domain) but by the playing convention for the game (social domain) favoring the stealing procedure, and also by personal domain (choices) and mutual agreement among the subjects participating in the game. The data did not indicate connections between the participants’ actions inside and outside virtual and real fields with regard to stealing, and reinforced the idea that rules are conventionalized in the domain of a group and depend on social interactions by which mutual respect among peers must prevail. The data also shows that morality is not the regulatory actions in the game. The results also showed the importance of carrying out research on procedures used by computer game players since such procedures can demonstrate cognitive, moral, affective and social aspects perceived during playful interaction situations.

The perception of modern society regarding the nature and indigenous peoples came to be shaped in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, with two major events, the invasion of Europeans in America and the scientific revolution. These events symbolize the cultural overlap and European thinking about the rest of the world. The current scenario is industrialism, consumism and cultural standardization driven by Cartesian thought. This work demonstrates, through literature research and data analysis, that this dominant model has caused the crisis of modernity, focusing especially on the environmental crisis that threatens human life. The solutions are present in the modern society the knowledge of indigenous peoples that is inherently ecological and sustainable by tradition. From the union of diverse cultures and knowledge dialog you can find solutions for today's problems and provide a renewal of relationships between modern society, indigenous peoples and nature. The World Conscious Pact presents this proposal which can be increased through public relations strategies in order to reconnect the man-nature bond, generating critical behavior with respect to the current dominant system and motivate society to adopt truly ecological postures. For this it is necessary to rescue the Earth image as a mother

Objective: The objective of this work, and review concepts on the physiology of hormones Adrenals to enhance pre, trans and post-operative care to dentists facing surgical, dental care of immunosuppressed patients. Literature review: The corticosteroids are among the most used drugs in medicine in recent times due to its anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive activities, especially in transplant patients and patients with chronic autoimmune diseases. However, the continuing use of these drugs leads to a decrease in endogenous production of cortisol by the adrenal. Besides depressing the patient’s immune system, it may generate many parallel undesirable effects like blocking the production of the natural hormone of adrenal cortex, or steroid called cortisol, which may be the cause of a malfunctioning of the adrenal gland, causing hypofunction or hyperfunction of the gland. Final considerations: This fact will lead to changes in the planning of dental surgery, where it will be necessary special actions towards the patients who have this condition.

The practice of pharmaceutical care (PC) is recent in Brazil and little is known about its impact on the health system or patients. The aim of this review was thus to identify the clinical, humanistic and economic outcomes achieved by the practice of PC in Brazil. In order to assess those outcomes, data published in studies from 1997 to 2011 were collected from Lilacs and MEDLINE databases, using the technique of content analysis. Original studies on PC that included pharmacotherapeutic follow-up were considered eligible for this descriptive review. A total of 306 articles were identified through the chosen descriptors. Of those, ten studies were eligible for this review and only two did not report significant results. The others reported increased adherence to pharmacotherapy, resolution of pharmacotherapeutic issues and control of clinical parameters of diseases (such as maintenance or reduction of blood pressure, reduction in HIV viral load and increase in lymphocyte count), promoting improvements in the general state of health and behavioral changes. However, economic impact was not assessed in any article analyzed, nor was a direct measurement of life quality performed. Although there are few studies on the outcomes of pharmaceutical care services in Brazil, it is demonstrated in this review that positive results were obtained when the pharmacist acted as a provider of optimized pharmacotherapy. This may be considered a result of the actions that followed the Brazilian Pharmaceutical Care Consensus of 2002, such as the restructuring of the curricular basis of pharmacy courses. From this point on, Brazilian researchers and pharmacists should think of a strategy to expand the offer of pharmaceutical care beyond academia and reach people in general who need this type of health care.

The anticipation of the beginning of Elementary School for six-year-old children, recently imposed by the Brazilian federal law, brought controversies and debates about the organization of the curriculum, routines, contents and activities, spaces and objects, conduct of behavior of teachers and parents, as well as about the policies of teachers’ training, amongst other issues. The present article, supported by advances of scientific production on children formal education, considers the changes in the concepts of children education and, consequently, in curricular practices. For this purpose, games and fun are taken as object of analysis and discussion, and the playfulness is proposed as a central curricular axle in the initial years of Elementary Education.

The work completed on the use of para-didactic texts do not address the issue of education in a state that considers the presence of students with visual impairments. Therefore, this article discusses an innovative situation, investigating if the use of para-didactic texts provide the necessary conditions for the inclusion of students with visual impairment in physics education classes. The response indicates a discreet participation of these students, however a significant one, in this application the students were motivated and interested in all of the topics discussed. This prudent participation may have occurred for reasons such as shyness and the behavior of teachers, as they tended to to be more talkative to these students.

This essay raises problems around the possible relationships of Semiotics, understood as science that investigates the life of signs, with Physical Education. It emphasizes the Semiotics or the General Logic of Signs elaborated by Charles S. Peirce (1839-1914), and presents its fundamentals, applications and implications for research in the field of Physical Education. It concludes that Semiotics allows launching new epistemic looks at the analysis and intervention in Physical Education, in order to: comprehend all its manifestations as expressive, meaningful and communicative; review the existing dichotomies in Physical Education; claim for the enhancement of looking at the subjects, their conducts and living motion situations as producers of language, and, therefore, of communication with the world.
