Periódicos eletrônicos sobre administração disponíveis no portal de periódicos da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior: uma avaliação

Este trabalho analisa o conjunto de periódicos eletrônicos de administração disponíveis no Portal Capes, do ponto de vista dos interesses dos usuários de uma biblioteca universitária especializada no assunto. Empregou-se como método a análise das citações dos periódicos utilizados nas teses de doutorado defendidas no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Administração da Escola de Administração da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul no período 1999-2007. Observou-se que 25% dos periódicos citados nas teses não estão disponíveis no Portal e que os periódicos disponíveis apresentam limitações quanto à integralidade da coleção.

Web decoration of Micrathena sexpinosa (Araneae: Araneidae): a frame-web-choice experiment with stingless bees

The function of silk web decorations in orb weaving spiders has been debated for decades. The most accepted hypothesized functions are that web decorations I) provide camouflage against predators, 2) are an advertisement for vertebrates to avoid web damage, or 3) increase the attraction of prey to the web. Most studies have focused on only a few genera, Argiope being the most common. In this study, I evaluated the prey attraction hypothesis of silk decorations for a species of a poorly studied genus in this topic, Micrathena sexpinosa Hahn 1822. I used a web-choice experiment in which I presented empty or web-bearing frames at the end of a tunnel to stingless bees (Tetragonisca angustula). This frame-choice experiment consisted of the following comparisons: decorated web vs. empty frame, decorated web vs. undecorated web, and undecorated web vs. empty frame. Webs with decoration intercepted significantly more bees than empty frames and undecorated webs. Therefore, the decorations of Micrathena sexpinosa might play a role in increasing foraging success.

Identifying a mutual attending frame: a pilot study of gaze interactions between therapist and couple.

Refering to systems theory, we identify a supraindividual property in interactions between therapist and couple. We use gaze directions to describe the partners' behaviors and label this property the "mutual attending frame." We propose a procedure to observe triadic interactions in a consultation setting and a method to measure mutual attending. The method is illustrated by the data analysis of two triads contrasted on measures of therapeutic alliance. We discuss the potential of this method for the description of the interactive aspects of the therapeutic alliance.

Portal web para la empresa Ruben's instalaciones y excavaciones

Este proyecto consiste en el desarrollo de un portal web para una empresa de construcción. Estará formado por una parte pública de cara al cliente que contiene diversa información de la empresa y una sección para contactar con la empresa. Además, tendrá una parte privada de gestión de ciertos aspectos de la empresa como presupuestos y pagos, además de un módulo de estadísticas para el seguimiento. El desarrollo se ha considerado necesario debido al contexto actual y a las carencias detectadas en la empresa.

Disseny i gamificació d'un portal esportiu

Aquest projecte aborda el disseny d'un portal web promocional per a un negoci de temàtica esportiva (gimnàs) mitjançant DRUPAL 7. Inclou el disseny de mòduls administratius per tal de gestionar els clients i els pagaments mensuals, així com mòduls de campionats per als usuaris. Per tant, el portal esdevè una eina administrativa, un centre de reunió per als clients i una web promocional per potencials interessats.

Desde sistemas de gestión (ERPs) pasando por la gestión documental, el análisis de información con sistema de Bussines Intelligence, pudiendo incluso convertirse en toda una nueva plataforma para proveer a las empresas de nuevos canales de venta, como es el caso deInternet.De la necesidad inicial de nuestro cliente en comenzar a expandirse por un nuevo canal de venta para poder llegar a nuevos mercados y diversificar sus clientes se inicia la motivación de este TFC.Dadas las características actuales de las tecnologías de la información e internet, estas conforman un binomio perfecto para definir este TFC que trata todos los aspectos necesarios para llegar a obtener un producto final como es un portal web inmobiliario adaptado a los requisitos demandados por los usuarios actuales de Internet.

Formation of a direct arterial blood supply to the anterior pituitary gland following complete or partial interruption of the hypophyseal portal vessels

If regions of the anterior pituitary gland received systemic blood via a direct arterial blood supply these regions would escape hypothalamic regulation and thus be a sequela in endocrine disorders. Since, in the untreated rat, all of the blood supply to the anterior pituitary gland is via the hypophyseal portal vessels, we hypothesized that partial interruption of the portal vessels could provoke the establishment of a direct arterial blood supply (arteriogenesis). We utilized the injection of polystyrene microspheres (15 or 9 micron diameter) into the left ventricle of the heart to test this hypothesis. Microspheres are trapped in the first capillary plexus they reach since they are too large to traverse the capillaries. No microspheres reached the anterior pituitary gland of control rats, a finding consistent with the fact that the anterior pituitary gland receives all of its blood supply via the hypophyseal portal blood vessels. Microspheres were observed in the primary portal capillary plexus in the infundibulum (median eminence), infundibular stalk (pituitary stalk), and infundibular process (pars nervosa), the first capillary plexus which they reached. A lesion of the medial basal hypothalamus (MBH) which destroyed the long portal vessels did not result in arteriogenesis since few, if any, microspheres were observed in the anterior pituitary gland. We confirmed, using vascular casts, that these lesions resulted in the long-term destruction of the primary portal capillaries in the infundibulum and of the long portal vessels. In MBH-lesioned animals it appears that all of the blood supply of the anterior pituitary gland is via short portal vessels arising from the infundibular stem and process.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)
