Helminofauna da sarda (Scomber scombrus L. ) peixe da Costa Continental Portuguesa

Dos primerios 80 espécimens da sarda examinados (de janeiro a maio de 1982), apenas seis (7,5%) estavam livres de helmintos, apresentando os demais as espécies de parasitos seguintes, por ordem de freqüência dentro de cada grupo taxonômico: Kuhnia scombri (Kuhn, 1829) e Grubea cochlear (Diesing, 1858) (classe Monogenea); Lecithocladium excisum (Rudolph, 1819) e Opechona basillaris (Molin, 1859)(classe Digenea); pelrocercoides de Lacistrorhynchus tenuis (Beneden, 1858) de Scolex pleuronectis (Muller, 1788) e de Echeneibothrium sp. (classe Cestoda); Rhadinorhynchus tenuicornis (Linton, 1891) (filo Acanthocephala); formas dos tipos larvares Anisakis e Contracaecum e ainda, larvas de Goezia sp. (classe Nematoda). São referidas, pela primeira vez, neste hospedeiro, formas larvares do cestóide Echeneibothrium sp. e do nematóide Goezia sp.

Utilizando como ejemplo la obra Himmelweg, de Juan Mayorga, se pretende demostrar la existencia de la tragedia en el drama contemporáneo, estableciendo, primero, la posibilidad de un sentimiento trágico actual y, segundo, las bases de la dramaturgia contemporánea tras la crisis del drama expuesta por Peter Szondi.

La alegoría de la prosa del Cántico como explicación de la experiencia mística

San Juan de la Cruz utiliza imágenes alegóricas en la prosa de Cántico para transmitirnos su experiencia mística, este recurso ha propiciado su lectura en diferentes culturas y épocas. En las explicaciones en prosa retoma ideas anteriores, profundiza y enlaza con nuevas; por ello hablamos de una alegoría de conjunto con influencia de los textos bíblicos, la teología vigente y las corrientes de su época. Las imágenes alegóricas recrean el espacio del encuentro entre el Amado (Jesucristo) y la amada (el alma); la transformación de la persona en todas sus dimensiones, los impedimentos y cómo es el matrimonio espiritual.

Diseminación de enteroparasitos por Calliphoridae (Insecta, Diptera)

It is establish the dissemination enteroparasite by Calliphoridae in a district situated around by Federal Capital of Argentina. The species implicated in this dispersal are: Phaenicia sericata (meigen, 1826); Calliphora vicina Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830; Chrysomya chloropyga (Wiedemann, 1818) and Phaenicia eximia (Wiedemann, 1819). Fifty two flies was studies, thirty four (65%) to belong at the family Calliphoridae. Of this thirteen (38%) have eggs of taeniid and cysts of Entamoeba coli (Grassi, 1879) and Giardia lamblia Styles, 1915.

Toxoplasma gondii: a rapid method for the isolation of pure tachyzoites: preliminary characterization of its genome

A rapid and simple technique for the purification of Toxoplasma gondii tachyzoites was developed. Highly purified parasites were obtained from the peritoneal exudates of infected mice by means of two consecutive discontinous sucrose gradients run at low speed (10,000xg, 30 min). Parasites obtained by this method conserved its biological activity. Hybridizations tudies with DNA from healthy mice and from purified tachyzoites preparations demonstrated that Toxoplasma gondii tachyzoites DNA could be obtained with better than 90 per cents purity. Preliminary studies with DNA endonucleases showed the presence in the tachyzoites genome of highly repetitives sequences.

Ecological aspects of nematode parasites of introduced salmonids from Valdivia river basin, Chile

Between 1986 and 1987 fishes distributed among the following species introduced in Chile, and from different sectors of the Valdivia river basin (39º30' - 40º00', 73º30' - 71º45'W), were examined: 348 Salmo trutta, 242 Salmo gairdneri, 24 Cyprinus carpio and 52 Gambusia affinis holbrooki. The presence of Camallanus corderoi and Contracaecum sp. in S. gairdneri and of C. corderoi in S. trutta is recorded in Chile for the first time. Cyprinus carpio and G. a. holbrooki did not present infections by nematodes. The prevalence and mean intensity of the infections by nematodes presented significant differences among some sectors of the Valdivia river basin. In general, the prevalence and intensity of the infections by C. corderoi were greater than those by Contracaecum sp. The infections in S. gairdneri were higher than in S. trutta. The sex of the hosts had no influence on the prevalence and intensity of the infections by both nematodes. The length of the hosts did have an influence, except in the case of the infections by Contracaecum sp. in S, gairdneri. The infrapopulations of both nematode species showed over dispersion in most cases. The diet of the examined salmonids suggests that they would become infected principally throught the consuption of autochthonous fishes.
