The IDPH Public Health Tracking Program is an excellent way to collect data related to various indicators for Iowans, but those looking for national statistics or data from other states may want to check out the Health Indicators Warehouse (healthindicators.gov). Run and maintained by the CDC’s National Center for Health Statistics, this site is a centralized source for national, state, and county data for a wide variety of indicators. The data is available to the public, and can be accessed either through the tables and charts directly on the website, or indicators can be downloaded to use in a spreadsheet. Once on the site, users are able to search for their desired data either by topic or geographic region. Filters can then be applied to the chosen field to narrow down the user’s search and obtain the preferred statistics. In addition, users are also able to search for indicators derived from state and federal health indicator initiatives: County Health Rankings, Community Health Status Indicators, Healthy People 2020, and CMS Community Indicators. The warehouse provides an overview of each indicator after the user has made their selection. This overview includes information on how the data was calculated and what characteristics are being represented. For example, percent of binge drinking adults is prefaced in the overview that data was based on the question: “Considering all types of alcoholic beverages, how many times during the past 30 days did you have [5 for men, 4 for women] or more drinks on an occasion?" Data is viewable either in the basic table format, chart format, or for some indicators it is possible to view it in terms of a national map. The Health Indicators Warehouse updates indicators as data becomes available, but the collection of years varies amongst the indicators. Nonetheless, this site is a useful resource to anyone looking for comparative indicators throughout the nation or is interested in one of the hundreds of indicators housed by the site. Construcció i explotació d'un magatzem de dades per a l'anàlisi d'informació sobre allotjaments turístics

Trabajo centrado en el estudio y aplicación práctica de las técnicas conocidas bajo el nombre de almacenes de datos y, concretamente, en sistemas ROLAP para dar respuesta a las necesidades de los entornos decisorios. En él se detallan los requisitos para desplegar un análisis de información sobre establecimientos turísticos, se expone la planificación, método basado en UML, el análisis, diseño, los pasos de recuperación de los datos -para su posterior transformación y carga en un base de datos relacional MySQL- y la presentación de las consultas OLAP e informes.

Aquest document il·lustra el procés dut a terme a l'hora de realitzar el treball de fi de carrera en els estudis del grau en enginyeria informàtica a l'àrea de magatzem de dades. Inclou les diferents fases del projecte, des d'una introducció inicial on s'explica que és el data warehouse, la justificació i objectius del projecte, els requeriments del client, fins al seu anàlisi, disseny i posterior implementació.

Construcción y explotación de un almacén de datos para el análisis de información sobre alojamientos turísticos en Catalunya

El proyecto sigue el formato de un encargo de una solución de almacén de datos por parte de un cliente hipotético llamado ONdO que necesita poder analizar datos de establecimientos turísticos, población y equipamientos del territorio catalán.

Implantació d'un sistema SCADA en una cèl·lula flexible de fabricació

La Universitat de Vic disposa, entre altres equips, d’una cèl·lula flexible de fabricació, del fabricant Festo, que simula un procés de formació de palets amb els productes que es disposen en un magatzem intermedi. Aquesta cèl·lula està composta de quatre estacions de muntatge diferenciades (càrrega de palets, càrrega de plaques, magatzem intermedi i transport). Cada una disposa d'un PLC SIEMENS S7-300 per la seva automatització, i tots aquests es troben interconnectats amb una xarxa industrial Profibus. L'objectiu d'aquest projecte és implantar el sistema SCADA Vijeo Citect pel control i supervisió de l'estació magatzem d'aquesta cèl·lula flexible de fabricació, establint també un intercanvi de dades entre l'SCADA i el Microsoft Access, per poder ser utilitzat per la docència. Aquest projecte s'ha desenvolupat en cinc fases diferents: 1. La primera fase s'ha dedicat a l'automatització pròpiament de l'estació magatzem a partir de l'autòmat programable Siemens S7-300 i complint amb les necessitats plantejades. 2. En la segona fase s'ha programat i establert la comunicació per l'intercanvi de dades (lectura i escriptura) entre el sistema SCADA Vijeo Citect i la base de dades de Microsoft Access. 3. En la tercera fase s'ha elaborat i programat l'entorn gràfic de supervisió i control del procés a partir del sistema SCADA Vijeo Citect. 4. En la quarta fase s'ha instal·lat un OPC Server en el PC i s'ha establert la comunicació entre el PLC i el sistema SCADA. 5. Finalment s'ha anat revisant i depurant les diferents programacions i comunicacions per tal de que el sistema funcioni com a un conjunt.

El proyecto consiste en la creación de una base de datos que administra la información y actividad de un videojuego on-line. Adicionalmente se crea un DWH con Pentaho.

El objetivo principal del TFC es la construcción y explotación de un almacén de datos. El proceso de trabajo se basa en la ejecución de un caso práctico, en el cual se presenta un escenario en el que se necesita desarrollar un almacén de datos para la Fundació d'Estudis per a la Conducció Responsable, la cual desea estudiar la evolución del número de desplazamientos en vehículo de motor en Cataluña así como analizar las posibles correlaciones entre medios de locomoción, perfiles de conductores y algunas variables de seguridad vial.

Aquest document defineix la construcció i explotació d'un magatzem de dades per a la Fundació d'Estudis per a la Conducció Responsable. L'objectiu del projecte és homogeneïtzar la informació que rep la fundació, des de diverses fonts i en diferents formats, consolidar-la en un únic magatzem de dades i habilitar eines que facilitin la seva explotació i anàlisi. La consecució d'aquestes fites és determinant perquè la direcció conegui l'evolució del trànsit rodat de vehicles a Catalunya i minimitzi el riscos en cas de qualsevol presa de decisions.

El caso práctico de este trabajo consiste, en esencia, en la creación de un almacén de datos para nuestro cliente ficticio ¿FECRES¿, así como la realización de varios informes. Algunos de estos informes serán estáticos y otros dinámicos (cubos OLAP).
