Organic agriculture represents one of the fastest growing segments of U.S. agriculture (USDA-RMA). With this in mind, the USDA’s Risk Management Agency (RMA) continues to expand crop insurance options for organic growers. In 2016 and 2017, organic producers in Maryland will see additional crops with organic crop insurance options. Increasing crop insurance options will allow this segment of producers new opportunities to manage their risks.

The Lieutenant Governor’s Office on Aging hereby submits the Federal Fiscal Year 2017 – 2021 State Plan on Aging for the State of South Carolina to the Assistant Secretary on Aging of the United States Department of Health and Human Services. The plan is effective for the period of October 1, 2016 through September 30, 2020. This document lays out a long-term strategic blueprint that focuses on how the state will modernize its service delivery system, while expanding the service options available for older South Carolinians, adults with disabilities, and their families. It also sets goals for consumer choice, and person centered and self-directed services. It addresses marketing, outreach, and advocacy issues, as well as the development of initiatives geared toward promoting evidence-based, consumer-directed, and community-based long-term services and supports.

O “Programa Nacional de Saúde Ocupacional: 2.º Ciclo – 2013/2017” (PNSOC) publicado na Norma n.º 026/2013 da Direção-Geral da Saúde (DGS), é dirigido pela Equipa de Coordenação do PNSOC da Divisão de Saúde Ambiental e Ocupacional da Direção-Geral da Saúde (DGS) e visa contribuir, através da implementação das suas Ações, para “a proteção e promoção da saúde de todos os trabalhadores, através de ambientes de trabalho saudáveis e da cobertura e qualidade dos Serviços de Saúde Ocupacional”. O presente Relatório, realizado pela Equipa de Coordenação do PNSOC conjuntamente com a Comissão Técnica de Acompanhamento do PNSOC, tem por objetivo apresentar as atividades realizadas no ano 2015 e o ponto de situação da monitorização das 51 ações do PNSOC 2013/2017. Neste Relatório destacam-se os 5 aspetos considerados mais significativos na implementação do PNSOC durante o ano de referência (2015), e sistematizam-se os trabalhos desenvolvidos, até à data, por ação do PNSOC.

The Iowa Department of Public Health's Office of Multicultural Health invited 21 representatives, key informants throughout the State of Iowa and five state personnel to help chart a strategic map for the OMH staff and it constituents to travel during the next 3-5 years, as the office strengthens its infrastructure and continues to meet its mission. This two day strategic planning session brought forth the consensus of maintaining the four major function areas held within the 2007 to 2011 strategic plan. Those four areas are: education, advocacy, data and training and development. 2

As the Housing Credit Agency responsible for allocating Tax Credits in the State of Iowa, IFA must adopt a written Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP). The purpose of the QAP is to set forth the criteria that IFA will use in evaluating and monitoring Projects submitted to it by the Developer/Ownership Entity for consideration in making an allocation of Tax Credits. The Governor must approve the QAP after the public has had the opportunity to comment through a public hearing.
