A Amazônia brasileira detém mais de 60% da água doce disponível no Brasil, por onde passa um dos maiores rios do mundo, o Rio Amazonas, tanto em extensão como em volume de água, além de abrigar uma das maiores redes hidroviárias do Planeta, com centenas de rios caudalosos. É nesse sistema que a presente pesquisa se propôs a fazer uma análise quantitativa e qualitativa da frota de embarcações, terminais e demanda de passageiros que são transportados pelos rios da Amazônia brasileira, visando contribuir para o desenvolvimento tecnológico do transporte hidroviário de passageiros na região. Através de um método matemático para o cálculo do valor da tarifa por passageiro, que leva em consideração as características físicas e operacionais de cada linha, buscou-se analisar os valores praticados, assim como otimizou-se os parâmetros de uma embarcação com as condições ideais e de menor custo por passageiro transportado. Neste aspecto verificou-se ainda, que o custo do transporte do passageiro pode ser reduzido com um projeto de embarcação mais adequado para cada linha e respectiva demanda. Os dados, informações e previsões sobre a produção do transporte hidroviário de passageiros são apresentados para melhor entendimento do setor de maneira a possibilitar propostas de transportes mais eficientes, de acordo com as características da via navegável e do ambiente operacional. Com o método de avaliação de custo proposto foi possível verificar que o custo do transporte hidroviário de passageiro na Amazônia não é homogêneo, em virtude da grande diversidade de embarcações que operam em cada linha, e que, a otimização do projeto adequado para cada linha pode ter grande reduções no custo do passageiro transportado.

This research attempts to analyze the relationship between the National Secondary Education Examination and the design of teaching, specifically in the way of defining what should be taught, in the present National Curriculum identifying clues that help us in the explanation of a conception of teaching and making the confrontation between the evaluation device in this ENEM. We intend to identify, even if there is consistency between what is taught and what is learned in schools, whether it public or private, and it evaluates the evidence as ENEM. This work is part of the Bachelor's Degree in Education Full theme is a critical analysis of the evaluation system ENEM regarding their school pedagogical practices. The overall goal is to bring to light the evaluative perspective envisaged in secondary education as a training practice, regarding the evaluation method levied by the National Examination of Secondary Education, seeking to raise the following reflection: The evaluation addressed in high school according to the National Curriculum meets view of the National Middle School? To answer this question, the work specified in a field research through analysis of evidence applied to the Portuguese Language School students in two schools, one in public and one private school, both in the city of Rio Claro, São Paulo, the analysis on the Matrix Reference ENEM in order to show whether the school pedagogical practice meets the demand of this evaluation system. This project aims to explore the many methods used for the development of recommendation systems to user ’ s items and apply the content - based recommendation method on a prototype system whose purpose is to recommend books to users. This paper exposes the most popular methods for creating systems capable of providing items (products) according to user preferences, such as collaborat ive filtering and content - based. It also point different techniques that can be applied to calculate the similarity between two entities, for items or users, as the Pearson ’s method, calculating the cosine of vectors and more recently, a proposal to use a Bayesian system under a Dirichlet distribution. In addition, this work has the purpose to go through various points on the design of an online application, or a website, dealing not only oriented algorithms issues, but also the definition of development to ols and techniques to improve the user’s experience. The tools used for the development of the page are listed, and a topic about web design is also discussed in order to emphasize the importance of the layout of the application. At the end, some examples of recommender systems are presented for curiosity , learning and research purposes

This research aims to present a new method to get real attenuation of hearing protection devices, with good reproducibility and a small standard deviation, without relying on skills and cooperation individual. Thus the authors performed tests in 10 individuals without protection and after with two kinds of ear protections (ear plug and ear muffs), to get the threshold limit value in each of the 3 stages. For this, the research used an electrophysical exam, normally used in speech therapy, named ASSR (auditory steady-state response). The principle of this exam is put on individual’s head 3 electrodes, to capture electrical signs directly in auditory nerve. In summary, the authors presented the final results. The method proposed by ANSI (American National Standards Institute) indicated an attenuation of 27.6 dB for ear plugs, while the value found in this work was 16 dB; and for ear muffs, the ANSI method indicated 29.8 dB while the value found here was 28.5 dB.
