The misuse of land by man and is causing serious problems to the environment, resulting in ecological imbalance and depletion of natural resources, especially when it comes to areas of permanent preservation, that ecosystems are essential for balance and water conservation importance . Conflicts of land use is a major cause of silting of rivers and water bodies, causing significant losses in soil and decaying natural water resources both in quantity and in quality. Within this scenario, the planning becomes essential for the control of environmental impacts to the environment factor. This study aimed to evaluate land use conflicts in permanent preservation areas of the stream Água Fria watershed, Bofete (SP) using Geographic Information System and satellite image of LANDSAT - 5 of 2010, scale 1:50000. The results show that 51.16% of the permanent preservation areas of the watershed are conflicting, especially for pasture (88.94%) and reforestation with eucalyptus (11.06%). The GIS IDRISI Selva and Cartalinx along with GIS techniques demonstrated speed and efficiency in identifying, measuring and editing maps of land use, preservation and ongoing conflicts in areas of permanent preservation.

This work aimed to carry out a study of the environmental conditions of the Permanent Preservation Areas (PPAs) in the sub-basin of Marimbondo Stream in the city of Jales (SP), through remote sensing techniques and taking as the basis Brazilian environmental legislation, the Forest Code Federal Law Nº 12,651/2012. Permanent Preservation Areas are inserted intrinsically improved conditions in the quantity and quality of water in the areas of springs and along water bodies in rural properties. Therefore, we also carried out studies on the new Forest Code compared to the old Federal Law Order no. 4771/1965 and the observation of its application in the area of sub-basin as well as carrying out the simulation. The results of this research allowed toverify the need for direct implementation of the monitoring measures with the Forest Code, and this water management tool in Brazil, which will ensure sustainable management practices of land use and land cover, with direct benefits to water production, mainly for public supply. Also there was a greater need for involvement by the public actors, the Basin Committee of the São José dos Dourados and the municipal government of Jales, in order to truly act aimed at the protection and maintenance of the water body Stream Wasp

Reduced platelet amyloid precursor protein ratio (APP ratio) predicts conversion from mild cognitive impairment to Alzheimer's disease

Studies have shown that platelet APP ratio (representing the percentage of 120-130 kDa to 110 kDa isoforms of the amyloid precursor protein) is reduced in patients with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and Alzheimer's disease (AD). In the present study, we sought to determine if baseline APP ratio predicts the conversion from MCI to AD dementia after 4 years of longitudinal assessment. Fifty-five older adults with varying degrees of cognitive impairment (34 with MCI and 21 with AD) were assessed at baseline and after 4 years. MCI patients were re-classified according to the conversion status upon follow-up: 25 individuals retained the diagnostic status of MCI and were considered as stable cases (MCI-MCI); conversely, in nine cases the diagnosis of dementia due to AD was ascertained. The APP ratio (APPr) was determined by the Western blot method in samples of platelets collected at baseline. We found a significant reduction of APPr in MCI patients who converted to dementia upon follow-up. These individuals had baseline APPr values similar to those of demented AD patients. The overall accuracy of APPr to identify subjects with MCI who will progress to AD was 0.74 +/- A 0.10, p = 0.05. The cut-off of 1.12 yielded a sensitivity of 75 % and a specificity of 75 %. Platelet APPr may be a surrogate marker of the disease process in AD, with potential implications for the assessment of abnormalities in the APP metabolism in patients with and at risk for dementia. However, diagnostic accuracy was relatively low. Therefore, studies in larger samples are needed to determine whether APPr may warrant its use as a biomarker to support the early diagnosis of AD.

Aplicación móvil para dispositivos iOS

[ES] Este proyecto aborda la creación de una aplicación móvil, enfocada a los aficionados del campeonato del mundo de rallyes, en la que el usuario pueda grabar, publicar, compartir, comentar y valorar sus propios vídeos así como los vídeos de los demás usuarios. Además, los usuarios también podrán seguirse entre ellos, los que les permitirá mantenerse informados tanto de nuevas publicaciones como de actividades realizadas por sus amigos. En resumidas cuentas podría decirse que se trata de una red social donde todo gira en torno a los vídeos del campeonato del mundo de rallyes. Esta aplicación será desarrollada para dispositivos móviles con sistema operativo iOS.

Prototipo del aplicación de recomendaciones sobre la dieta mediterránea

[ES] Este prototipo pretende servir como base de una aplicación que busca mejorar el estilo de vida mediante la adaptación a la dieta mediterránea,  una de las dietas con mayor aceptación por parte de los expertos del campo de la salud. Este software consiste en una aplicación servidor en entorno Ruby on Rails que realiza la función de gestor de contenidos para la aplicación del dispositivo móvil bajo plataforma iOS usando Objective-C, comunicadas entre sí por una API REST. Entre sus funciones, se permite evaluar el nivel de adaptación a la dieta mediterránea del usuario, ofreciéndole posteriormente un menú variado siguiendo las recomendaciones de dietistas expertos. Dicho menú es individualizado, tomando en cuenta las diferentes alergias que padece el usuario para realizar un filtrado de las recetas, consultables en todo momento desde la aplicación. Se presentan además una serie de pantallas interactivas con información sobre la dieta mediterránea y la vida sana.

Desarrollo de una aplicación móvil híbrida de soporte para congresos en iOS

[ES]Esta aplicación surge de la necesidad de generar una herramienta de bajo coste capaz de dar un soporte estandarizado a diferentes tipos de congresos a través de un mismo software. Este tipo de congresos debe manejar grandes volúmenes de datos de forma eficiente. Así, el objetivo fundamental de este proyecto es generar una aplicación para móviles que de soporte a congresos, usando para ello un desarrollo móvil que incorpore elementos del desarrollo web; es decir, un desarrollo híbrido. Como objetivo secundario, se estudiará la viabilidad de este sistema de desarrollo, evaluando las diferencias obtenidas frente a un desarrollo web completo tanto en eficiencia como en recursos utilizados.

Mercato diritti e consumi: la tutela del consumatore nella disciplina antitrust

Lo studio “Mercato, diritti e consumi: la tutela del consumatore nella disciplina antitrust”, ricostruisce e analizza i rapporti intercorrenti tra pubbliche amministrazioni e consumatore, singolo e associato, concentrando l’attenzione sulla protezione del consumatore quale soggetto che opera nel mercato, titolare di un diritto economico, in relazione all’attività regolativa svolta dall’amministrazione nella cura dell’interesse pubblico alla tutela della concorrenza. Il lavoro è strutturato in quattro parti. Una prima parte, di carattere generale, è dedicata alla nozione di consumatore e ai diritti in capo allo stesso contemplati, nonché alle associazioni dei consumatori ed al ruolo istituzionale ad esse affidato. Nella seconda parte si concentra l’attenzione, da un lato, sulla posizione assunta dalle Regioni per quel che concerne la competenza legislativa ad esse riconosciuta nell’ambito della tutela dei consumatori e degli utenti e, dall’altro lato, sul versante degli strumenti più propriamente di diritto amministrativo, sull’attività amministrativa di controllo, vigilanza e disciplina delle attività economiche private rilevanti per i consumatori, attuata dalle autorità indipendenti e, per ciò che attiene alle loro funzioni, dalle Camere di commercio. La terza parte riferisce in ordine al quadro normativo in cui si colloca l’attività di regolazione del mercato soprattutto avendo riguardo alle recenti modifiche legislative che hanno profondamente modificato il Codice del consumo relativamente ai suddetti temi ed al ruolo svolto dall’Autorità Garante della Concorrenza e del Mercato, per poi dar conto dell’evoluzione giurisprudenziale cui si è assistito recentemente circa la rilevanza dell’interesse del consumatore nella disciplina Antitrust. Nell’ultima parte, anche alla luce delle osservazioni svolte, si affronta il fondamento giuridico – costituzionale dell’interesse del consumatore anche alla luce del nuovo assetto dei rapporti con l’Autorità Garante della Concorrenza e del Mercato e si tenta, attraverso una reinterpretazione del concetto di iniziativa economica, di ricondurlo al primo comma dell’articolo 41 della Costituzione.
