A Poética do amor em O Romance da Rosa

We aim with this article to analyze the poetics of love in The Romance of the Rose. We think that Guillaume de Lorris’s conception of love is associated with the flourishing of the French courtly society of the XIII Century, and that Jean de Meun’s conception of love is a result of the decline of this same society. Behind the virtues offered by Guillaume to the medieval lover we find the notion of courtesy, of the art of living in society, the understanding of the poetry as a form of ethics, and the medieval poetic of desire – intimately associated with the religious mysticism appeared from the XI Century and with the troubadours’ poetry. Jean is more influenced by the Ovidian tradition of thinking about the causes and effects of love. In the first part of the poem, Guillaume idealizes the conquest of the Rose; in the second, Jean describes the cueillette of the Rose, which could be read as a rape, in an allegorical way. It is this tension between different conceptions of love in a same poem that makes possible a better comprehension of the ways people used to think and feel in the Middle Ages.

The autism is a severe mental illness that involves psychological, social, educational and neurobiological aspects. The Education plays an important role in recovering, preserving and increasing the cognitive task of people with autism. There are several ways to observe a person with autism. Through the studying of cases, it is also possible to address issues of everyday life of the person with the illness, its cognitive issues and its obstacles of psychosocial involvement, as well as psychological aspects such as illness acknowledgement. Through specialized literature, it is possible to identify characteristics referring to the learning process and neurobiological components involved in the condition, such as brain activity disorder and genetic factors. The objectives of this paper are: from the analysis of two books: Unique World: comprehend the Autism (SILVA, A. B. B; GAIATO, M.B; REVELES, L.T) and The cats never lie about love (DILLON, J.), it is intended to describe cognitive and psychosocial aspects of the autism. Based on the specialized literature, the goal is to identify cognitive and neurobiological components in the illness. The methods that were used: analysis of the books Unique World: comprehend the Autism and The cats never lie about love to describe psychosocial and educational aspects of the autism; analysis of the specialized literature to identify clinical and neurobiological components of the illness, such as changes in brain activity, genetic factors or clinical evolution; and also details of the Education role in preserving the person with autism and his cognitive and emotional development. The study had the documentary research as reference for the methodological design, including book analysis and research in specialized literature. It is intended to deepen discussions about the Education roles related to the cognitive and neurobiological aspects of the autism

Horacio y el sexo: amor y seducción en la poesía de Horacio

[ES]En el presente trabajo se ofrece una panorámica sobre el tema amoroso en la poesía de Horacio. El amor es un tema importante, aunque no nuclear, en su poesía. Se analizan todas las modalidades de amor que contempla Horacio, según la destinataria de la relación: amor conyugal a la esposa, amor adúltero con esposas ajenas, amor no adúltero con cortesanas y sexo con prostitutas vulgares. Horacio elogia idealmente el amor matrimonial tradicional y denuesta el adulterio, pero prefiere personalmente un amor donjuanesco con múltiples parejas. Esta inclinación tiene una base literaria (pues era el sesgo dominante en el epigrama griego de época helenística), pero también responde a los gustos personales de Horacio. Se concluye que los datos extraídos de su poesía son relevantes para comprender las preferencias eróticas del Horacio hombre.

Proposta di traduzione del romanzo di Antonio Ventura: Un amor en tres tiempos

Il presente elaborato è dedicato alla proposta di traduzione, dallo spagnolo in italiano, del romanzo di Antonio Ventura "Un amor en tres tiempos". Protagonisti della storia sono Emile e Alexandra e il sentimento amoroso che li lega lungo i ventotto anni in cui essa si sviluppa. Attraverso le loro emozioni e le loro paure, Ventura ci fa entrare, in modo mirabile, nel mondo dei due protagonisti, con un’approfondita indagine introspettiva nella loro vita, seguendo l’evoluzione di un sentimento che si modula, nei tre tempi cui fa accenno il titolo, dall’infanzia, quindi l’adolescenza, infine, l’età adulta. Oltre all’introduzione e alle conclusioni, il lavoro si compone di cinque capitoli: il primo è dedicato all’autore che ho avuto modo di conoscere di persona e di incontrare più volte, sia in Italia sia in Spagna, e con cui ho mantenuto uno stretto rapporto di collaborazione lungo tutto il percorso traduttivo; nel secondo sviluppo la mia analisi del testo focalizzandomi su trama, paratesto, temi, personaggi, narratore, tempo e spazio della storia e stile dell’autore; il terzo, che contiene la proposta di traduzione, è seguito dal commento alla traduzione, argomento sia del quarto capitolo, di carattere teorico, che del quinto, in cui si analizzano più da vicino i problemi traduttivi riscontrati e le strategie messe in atto per risolverli.
