Crise h��drica no Brasil gera grande n��mero de debates nas redes sociais

Monitoramento de redes sociais realizado pela Diretoria de An��lise de Pol��ticas P��blicas da FGV (FGV/DAPP), entre 18 e 21 de janeiro, registrou 315 mil men����es relacionadas �� crise h��drica em todo o Brasil. S��o Paulo foi a cidade com o maior volume de coment��rios, concentrando 16% do total, mais do que o dobro do Rio de Janeiro, a segunda cidade no ranking, com 7%. Os termos mais mencionados foram "��gua", com 46% do total, e "seca", com 32%. Outras palavras muito citadas foram "falta", "cantareira" e "racionamento".

Em comemora����o aos 450 anos do Rio de Janeiro, Brasil rende milhares de homenagens nas redes sociais

Neste domingo o Rio de Janeiro completou 450 anos. O epis��dio tem sido marcado por eventos comemorativos espalhados por toda a cidade. Muitos deles ser��o realizados durante o ano todo. No site do Rio50Anos �� poss��vel conferir toda agenda. As comemora����es foram assuntos nas redes durante o final de semana. De acordo com a an��lise de rede feita pela Diretoria de An��lises de Pol��ticas P��blicas (FGV/DAPP) foram mais de 250 mil men����es ao anivers��rio do Rio em todo o Brasil entre os dias 1 e 2 de mar��o. Os internautas fizeram diversas homenagens ao Rio e reproduziram muitas mensagens referenciando a paisagem da cidade, como as praias, sol, mar, futebol, montanhas. Igualdade de g��nero no ambiente corporativo: desafios, avan��os e tend��ncias para grandes empresas com atua����o no Brasil

Ao longo dos ��ltimos anos, diversas iniciativas empresariais surgiram no Brasil como forma de organizar, fomentar e atuar como catalisador da igualdade de g��nero no ambiente corporativo nacional, seja na esfera p��blica ou na privada. Diferente das pesquisas que buscam retratar a realidade das empresas atrav��s da percep����o de presidentes, diretores ou representantes internos, este estudo teve como objetivo ir al��m do discurso institucional, tentando captar a percep����o qualitativa dos coordenadores desses grupos representativos (selos, redes, movimentos, organiza����es), que, juntos, mobilizam mais de 200 empresas no pa��s. As entrevistas com estes indiv��duos puderam propiciar uma maior capilaridade e vis��o cr��tica em rela����o aos avan��os, desafios e tend��ncias para quest��o de g��nero nas grandes empresas com atua����o no Brasil.

Determinantes de interven����o do Banco Central do Brasil no mercado de c��mbio: uma abordagem emp��rica por regress��o log��stica e redes neurais

Em economias com regimes de metas de infla����o �� comum que Bancos Centrais intervenham para reduzir os n��veis de volatilidade do d��lar, sendo estas interven����es mais comuns em pa��ses n��o desenvolvidos. No caso do Brasil, estas interven����es acontecem diretamente no mercado �� vista, via mercado de derivativos (atrav��s de swaps cambiais) ou ainda com opera����es a termo, linhas de liquidez e via empr��stimos. Neste trabalho mantemos o foco nas interven����es no mercado �� vista e de derivativos pois estas representam o maior volume financeiro relacionado �� este tipo de atua����o oficial. Existem diversos trabalhos que avaliam o impacto das interven����es e seus graus de sucesso ou fracasso mas relativamente poucos que abordam o que levaria o Banco Central do Brasil (BCB) a intervir no mercado. Tentamos preencher esta lacuna avaliando as vari��veis que podem se relacionar ��s interven����es do BCB no mercado de c��mbio e adicionalmente verificando se essas vari��veis se relacionam diferentemente com as interven����es de venda e compra de d��lares. Para tal, al��m de utilizarmos regress��es log��sticas, como na maioria dos trabalhos sobre o tema, empregamos tamb��m a t��cnica de redes neurais, at�� onde sabemos in��dita para o assunto. O per��odo de estudo vai de 2005 a 2012, onde o BCB interveio no mercado de c��mbio sob demanda e n��o de forma continuada por longos per��odos de tempo, como nos anos mais recentes. Os resultados indicam que algumas vari��veis s��o mais relevantes para o processo de interven����o vendendo ou comprando d��lares, com destaque para a volatilidade impl��cita do c��mbio nas interven����es que envolvem venda de d��lares, resultado este alinhado com outros trabalhos sobre o tema.

El ��mbito tem��tico: un an��lisis de dominio de las conferencias nacionales y regionales de ISKO (Brasil, Espa��a y Am��rica del Norte)

This article is the result of a domain analysis of the articles published in the congresses of ISKO in Brazil, Spain and North America, aiming at identifying the themes and scientific collaboration characteristics, as an input for future studies on research trends and promoting the growth of the participation in each community. So it was characterized as an exploratory research focused on the analysis domain. The results showed that the Brazilian, North American and Iberian ISKO Chapters have been building a large space of scientific production with some convergent subjects like the epistemological questions, but also considering the regional specific ones. In this vein, the presence of researchers in the three studied academic spaces reveals a concern on establishing dialogical basis in KO research, whose main research institutions are S��o Paulo State University (UNESP, Brazil), University of Wisconsin Milwaukee (UWM, United States) and University Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M, Spain), which have deeply intensified their collaboration in joint publications.

An��lise cientom��trica: produ����o cient��fica e redes colaborativas a partir das publica����es dos docentes dos programas de p��s-gradua����o em Fonoaudiologia no Brasil

This study aimed to identify the post-graduation programs in Speech Pathology in Brazil, present the production of professors of these programs in the aspects of documentary typologies and present the evolution of this production up to year 2011, delineate the collaborative networks between professors and between institutions, as well as to present the indicators of networks. By accessing the Capes website, eight post-graduation programs were found, revealing a list with a total of 118 professors in Brazil. Data were extracted from the Lattes Platform using the ScriptLattes. The graphs were created in Excel, the networks were traced using the software Ucinet and the density and centrality indicators were calculated. It was observed that most courses are located in the South and Southeast regions of the country and, even though this is a recent field, it presents a significant collaborative network.

Studies about cooperation between Portugal, Brazil and Angola are recent and controversial, mainly when we see them from the perspective of democratic countries, Republicans and capitalists. From the middle of this decade to this current date, that triangular relationship historic brought many important issues to international geopolitics, particularly those involving the Southern Cone of America and Africa. In that play of interests, the strategicdiplomatic and cultural universities��� role, of the civil society organizations, enterprises and institutions with mixed capital is too important because they are who forged the new Angolan group leader as the nation-state need contribution of human resources, scientific, technological and cultural order to consolidate their position as a regional power in southern Africa.

Pr��ticas de gest��o da melhoria cont��nua e aprendizado e suas contribui����es para a capacidade de inova����o na ind��stria de constru����o naval do Brasil

After years of stagnation, the naval construction industry in Brazil has been experiencing a period of recovery caused by investments in the oil and gas sector and the implementation of governmental programs that aimed to regenerate it. However, efforts in learning and innovations are needed in order to reinsert the country in this activity and achieve international levels of competitiveness. Based on literature about learning processes and continuous improvement practices and their impact in the innovative and productive processes, this paper aims to identify the main tendencies, mechanisms and procedures to improve the construction and management processes in the Brazilian naval construction industry. The methodology used for the data analysis classifies obtained information from magazines and annals of congresses of the sector, according to the established analysis categories (phenomena). Such categories study information related to the productive and technological processes of the industry, the main internal and external relations of the industrial park, the management of resources and processes, policies, investments, etc. The data was collected in the period 2004-2010, and more than 500 registers that show a dominance of the investment phenomenon, especially in the increase of productive capacity, were catalogued. In addition to this, there is evidence of modernization in the manufacturing plan and the equipment, diverse forms of cooperation, implementation of human resources management practices and engineering or processes and products. Hence, a process of catching up governs and is guided by modernization and increase training in this industry.

Redes sociais na Internet: uma investiga����o sobre pr��ticas de compartilhamento de arquivos no Facebook

The social networking sites have experienced a large and rapid growth in recent years and bring together millions of users in Brazil and worldwide. Such networks allow adding groups of people with common interests or relationships, enabling members of this group to communicate and exchange information. Some social networks have specific goals, for example, aggregate individuals with common interests and professional relationships. However, they all share information in some way, whether in the form of short texts, photos, videos, among others. Sharing information in files is also a growing activity on the Internet and can be done in various ways, from sending files via email to multiple contacts to make available areas shared by the same contacts. However, applications are not yet available to enable file sharing on Facebook, considered the premier social network today. Given the growing demand for sharing files over the Internet, and a large number of users familiar with the use of these integrated applications for Facebook there is a demand for applications that allow users to share files with their contacts in this social network. This study aims to investigate how users use Facebook, and their practices for file sharing. It is believed that the results will substantiate future projects to develop software for file sharing on Facebook. Due to the exploratory nature of this research, the choice was made for a survey to collect data, applied through the web. From the results obtained, was possible to observe a frequent use of file sharing, but no interest in paid services. Regarding Facebook, was possible to observe their extensive use in both the frequency of access as the hours spent, as well as an increased use of applications (games, quiz, etc.). The full set of results shows a favorable environment for developing applications for sharing files on Facebook.

Congresos y conferencias de una tarde de verano

Con la llegada del est��o ha comenzado, como todos los a��os, la interminable serie de galas que, en el entorno de la I + D, reciben el nombre de congresos y conferencias. Tambi��n, m��s recientemente, ha proliferado otro tipo de actos que, sin saber muy bien por qu��, se re��nen bajo el ep��grafe de cursos de verano. Esta ��ltima variedad, aunque podr��a tener alguna extra��a relaci��n con la I + D, se sale de lo que habitualmente se entiende como piedra angular del sistema. Creo que ni los m��s benevolentes lo har��an. Por tanto, voy a evitar hablar de ella, a pesar de que las tentaciones para hacerlo son muchas. Prefiero centrarme en los primeros que, esos s��, son punto central de la actividad investigadora.
