A aprendizagem do Inglês em Cabo Verde: a Língua Inglesa como uma nova interpretação da realidade

Cada sujeito constrói a sua realidade através do seu universo linguistico. Neste trabalho, pretende-se expor o facto de a língua não se tratar unicamente de um meio que se utiliza para comunicar. Na realidade, duas línguas diferentes constituem distintas organizações da realidade. Neste sentido, após se fazer a contextualização da organização e valores do Sistema Educativo em Cabo Verde numa perspectiva histórica, é delineada esta teoria, que encara a língua como a forma de organizar e criar o mundo específico de cada sujeito, a qual é corroborada pela Linguistica Moderna. Neste caso, o facto de em Cabo Verde se aprender Inglês como língua estrangeira cria a possibilidade de colocar os aprendentes do Inglês perante um mundo distinto do seu, o que poderá contribuir para o desenvolvimento da tolerância e solidariedade nos indivíduos. No entanto, para que isso se torne possível, a língua não deverá, em caso algum, ser encarada apenas como um instrumento de comunicação nem poderá ser separada da cultura dos povos que a falam. Nesta conjuntura surge esta investigação na qual, após a análise do conteúdo a documentos referentes ao processo de aprendizagem do Inglês e após a interpretação de opiniões e da praxis de alguns professores de Inglês se pretende definir o estado da situação da abertura dada à cultura dos povos da língua alvo e da concepção de língua no processo de ensino – aprendizagem do Inglês em Cabo Verde.
