Augusto Matraga: um hérói além do bem e do mal - uma perpectiva trágico-ntológica

The present dissertation analyses the philosophy of Friedrich Nietzsche (1844-1900) and the short story written by João Guimarães Rosa (1908-1967), A hora e vez de Augusto Matraga (1946) seeking to point out the possibility of the philosophic application of some Nietzschean ideas to enlarge the aesthetic value of the short story. It has been especially aimed at applying the concept of the noble superior being described by Nietzsche, the ubermensch, to the hero s ontological nature, Augusto Matraga. Nietzsche s postulates of the will to power, the elements suggested of the trial between Dionysus and Apollo and the ascetic ideal, will be especially relevant to this work, which intends to establish until what point the hero can be conceived as a good ascetic person, in so far as his noble ontological nature trespass the Christian morality, bringing him closer to the man who, according to Nietzsche, is beyond good and evil. Some Heideggerian concepts will also be relevant in order to reinforce the idea that the judgment created about Matraga is just an appearance that does not contemplate his essential Being, contributing to veil his real tragic-ontological valour, what implies that the aesthetic power of the short has been under valued

Niilismo e técnica: a caminho da ultrapassagem

Pour formuler une discussion sur le nihilisme, l'enquête sur le premier chapitre examine les preuves historiques et philosophiques de montrer que la réflexion sur le nihilisme comme un problème philosophique, suite à l'analyse et la critique du philosophe Friedrich Nietzsche à partir des principaux concepts au sein de son travail: décrépitude, la mort de Dieu, la dévaluation des valeurs, transvaluation des valeurs, volonté de puissance et éternel retour, ils sont quelques-uns des concepts et servir de cadre au point critique de la métaphysique. Le deuxième chapitre est une analyse des idées qui ont émergé de la lecture de Nietzsche qui sont développées entre le philosophe Martin Heidegger et Ernst Jünger. Un dialogue qui limite le nihilisme et ses ramifications pour l'ère de la technique, et finalement vaincre leur pensée ou dépassement.

Nietzsche elaborates in The Birth of Tragedy a theory about tragic starting from the opposition and complementarity among Apollo and Dionysian, rationalism and instinct, and in the refusal of the pessimistic perspective. The objective of the dissertation is to discuss how the theory of tragedy modifies due to the rupture with the inspiring of the first moment of the nietzschian philosophy, Schopenhauer and Wagner - maybe the such things to be forgotten about The Birth of Tragedy - and the implications of this rupture, that transforms the philosophy of Nietzsche in dissident of the metaphysical tradition. Like this, it is noticed that there is more continuity than estrangement in what concerns to the definition of tragic, just announced in 1871. By the sentence of the eternal return to the concept of will of power Nietzsche elaborates a tragic perspective, marked by the Dionysian celebration of the life, also acted through the pessimism dionisiac , defined in Gaya Science's § 370 (1881-2), and of the sentence of the love fate, enunciated in the §276 of the same work; all those concepts, discussed in this research, concentrate, decisively, the acceptance idea and statement of life, or more precisely, the decline of the tragic hero, between joy and ruin

A fortuna crítica de Friedrich Schlegel é rica em alusões a sua relação com Schleiermacher. Ambos conviveram em Berlim por volta de 1800, época em que Schlegel editava a Athenäum e em que Schleiermacher ainda não escrevera seus principais textos sobre hermenêutica. É possível conceber Friedrich Schlegel como um predecessor de Schleiermacher? Faces do trágico na personagem Miguel dos Santos Prazeres da tetralogia monteiriana

O objetivo a ser alcançado na dissertação Faces do Trágico na Personagem Miguel dos Santos Prazeres da Tetralogia Monteiriana é apontar, mediante estudo de três das quatro obras que compõem a tetralogia, as características que fazem da personagem Miguel um herói trágico. Para tal escopo, será feita uma análise bibliográfica em que se congregam várias áreas do saber. A filosofia, assim como a história, embasa o trabalho servindo de sustentáculo a análise realizada. A sociologia também auxilia essa pesquisa na medida em que a investigação se estende a uma personagem localizada no tempo e em um espaço social.Quanto à literatura e crítica literária são referências necessárias por se tratar de um trabalho estético. Dentre os teóricos que foram utilizados, estão Aristóteles, Immanuel Kant, Walter Benjamin, Herbert Marcuse, Friedrich Schiller e Friedrich Nietzsche, Antonio Candido, Georg Hegel, Luiz Costa Lima, Georg Lukács, Roberto Machado, Michel Maffesoli, Octávio Ianni, Benedito Nunes, Anthony Giddens, etc. Pretende-se ainda que essa exposição seja veiculada a partir da inserção das obras dentro do contexto histórico e político da Ditadura Militar ocorrida no Brasil entre os anos de 1964 e 1985. Destaque-se que, a condição do estado de exceção, vivenciada pelo país, não representa apenas uma questão metodológica, mas concorre decisivamente para a consequente tragicidade de Miguel dos Santos Prazeres.

Nietzsche e a modernidade em Habermas

A crítica de Habermas a Nietzsche é apresentada pela demonstração do conceito de modernidade em Hegel, configurando-o, em primeiro lugar, no domínio da estética. No próprio Hegel, a filosofia coloca como necessidade a superação das fragmentações engendradas pela modernidade. Em Nietzsche, encontramos o ponto de inflexão que altera o rumo da trajetória anterior seguida pelo moderno discurso filosófico.
