El desarrollo de la presente tesis busca la comprensión del aporte que brindan los conceptos: inteligencia emocional y liderazgo transformador en la formación y desarrollo de equipos efectivos de trabajo. Ambos elementos son relevantes para lograr una buena gestión de trabajo individual y de equipo, que favorezca la eficiencia organizacional y las relaciones interpersonales. Desde la perspectiva laboral, tanto el liderazgo transformador como la inteligencia emocional generan en las personas sentido de pertenencia a la organización, promueven su desarrollo profesional y personal, mejoran su satisfacción y actitud logrando un adecuado trabajo de equipo. La inteligencia emocional es la capacidad de entender los sentimientos propios y de los demás para generar respuestas adecuadas. El liderazgo transformador es el conjunto de habilidades y destrezas de un individuo para gestionar, estimular o motivar a un equipo favoreciendo el cumplimiento de objetivos comunes. Finalmente, a través de la correlación entre las variables inteligencia emocional y liderazgo transformador, se buscará entender el nivel de efectividad de los equipos de alto rendimiento en la fuerza comercial de microfinanzas CREDI FE Zona Quito.

A voz dos alunos como potencial transformador da formação e prática dos professores

Apesar de esta investigação ser sobre a formação de professores, não pretende ser apenas mais uma sobre o tema. Por isso, encaro-a numa perspectiva pouco habitual: partindo do princípio de que os alunos são os melhores conhecedores do trabalho dos professores, acredito que as suas opiniões sobre o trabalho docente, em particular, e sobre a escola, em geral, poderão não só criar um ambiente mais propício para a aprendizagem mas também transformar positivamente quer o desempenho quotidiano quer a formação dos professores. A necessidade de se encontrar um novo modelo de formação emerge da constatação de que no seu dia-a-dia os professores se vêem confrontados com o cumprimento de rotinas que os impedem de ver e escutar com atenção os alunos e de através deles reflectirem sobre o seu trabalho. Além disso, esta invisibilidade do aluno é também consequência do desprezo a que as opiniões dos alunos têm sido votadas na formação de professores, quer na inicial, quer na contínua. Tudo isto tem contribuído, muitas vezes, para o esquecimento do aluno como elemento central do trabalho dos professores, tantas vezes mais absorvidos no cumprimento de uma miríade de funções que lhes são impostas do que com a criação de condições de aprendizagem favoráveis. Defende-se, por isso, o recentrar a formação e a prática dos professores nos alunos, através do desenvolvimento de uma relação dialógica que comprometa reciprocamente docentes e discentes na procura de processos de aprendizagem mais adequados às novas exigências da sociedade hodierna. Adoptando uma metodologia etnográfica, de cariz qualitativo, e baseada num estudo de caso, a Escola Básica e Secundária do Porto Santo, desenvolvi uma investigação que me permitiu ouvir os alunos sobre as práticas docentes e deduzir daí alguns contributos para a formação de professores.

Projeto de um Transformador utilizado em uma Planta de Plasma

This work discusses the design of a transformer used in a plant plasma. This plant, which is being developed in UFRN, will be used in the treatment of waste. It consists basically of a radio frequency power supply and a inductive plasma torch. The transformer operates at the nominal frequency of 400 kHz, with 50 kW, allowing the adaptation of impedance between the power supply and torch. To develop the project, a study was done on the fabrication technologies and physical effects on the frequency of operation. This was followed by the modeling of this transformer. Estudo imuno-histoquímico da presença de miofibroblastos e da expressão do fator transformador de crescimento-beta1, interferon gama, metaloproteinase de matriz 13 e indutor de metaloproteinases de matriz em lesões odontogênicas epiteliais

Myofibroblasts are cells that exhibit a hybrid phenotype, sharing the morphological characteristics of fibroblasts and smooth muscle cells, which is acquired during a process called differentiation. These cells then start to express -SMA, a marker that can be used for their identification. Studies suggest that myofibroblasts are related to the aggressiveness of different tumors and that TGF-1 and IFN- play a role in myofibroblast differentiation, stimulating or inhibiting this differentiation, respectively. The objective of this study was to investigate the role of myofibroblasts in epithelial odontogenic tumors, correlating the presence of these cells with the aggressiveness of the tumor. Immunohistochemistry was used to evaluate the expression of TGF-1 and IFN- in myofibroblast differentiation, as well as the expression of MMP-13, which is activated by myofibroblasts, and of EMMPRIN (extracellular matrix metalloproteinase inducer) as a precursor of this MMP. The sample consisted of 20 solid ameloblastomas, 10 unicystic ameloblastomas, 20 odontogenic keratocysts, and 20 adenomatoid odontogenic tumors. For evaluation of myofibroblasts, anti- -SMA-immunoreactive cells were quantified in connective tissue close to the epithelium. Immunoexpression of TGF-1, IFN-, MMP-13 and EMMPRIN was evaluated in the epithelial and connective tissue components, attributing scores of 0 to 4. The results showed a higher concentration of myofibroblasts in solid ameloblastomas (mean of 30.55), followed by odontogenic keratocysts (22.50), unicystic ameloblastomas (20.80), and adenomatoid odontogenic tumors (19.15) (p=0.001). No significant correlation between TGF-1 and IFN- was observed during the process of myofibroblast differentiation. There was also no correlation between the quantity of myofibroblasts and MMP-13 expression. Significant correlations were found between MMP-13 and TGF-1 (r=0.087; p=0.011), between MMP- 13 and IFN- (r=0.348; p=0.003), as well as between EMMPRIN and MMP-13 (r=0.474; p<0.001) and between EMMPRIN and IFN- (r=0.393; p=0.001). The higher quantity of myofibroblasts observed in solid ameloblastomas, odontogenic keratocysts and unicystic ameloblastomas suggests that these cells are one of the factors responsible for the more aggressive biological behavior of these tumors, although the myofibroblast population was not correlated with TGF-1, IFN-, MMP-13 or EMMPRIN. The correlation between MMP- 13 and TGF-1 suggests that the latter induces the expression of this metalloproteinase. The present results also support the well-established role of EMMPRIN as an inducer of MMP-13. Furthermore, the relationship between EMMPRIN and IFN- and between MMP-13 and IFN- suggests synergism in the antifibrotic effect of these markers

Abordagens corporais: recurso transformador na formação do terapeuta ocupacional

The objective of this study was to discuss the teaching-learning process of corporal approaches in the Occupational Therapy fi eld. The informations were collected during the classes, in the body approaches matter, administered in the fourth period of the graduate program in Occupational Therapy of the Universidade Estadual Paulista, through focus groups conducted at the end of all twelve-face meetings with classes of four hours each. The study was realized by forty students enrolled in the discipline. All meetings were fi lmed, which allowed the full transcript and analysis of the students reports. The speeches analysis consisted of content analysis and categories creation. The results indicated to the perception of the thematic discussed during the meetings enabled the student to experience and build critical thinking about what is proper the client, and through a holistic approach, about what is guiding the potency of the Occupational Therapy process. The body approaches are considered a feature powerfull transformer in the teaching-learning of occupational therapy as an investigative and formative activity in the understandings’ construction of the professional practice of occupational therapists in situations of uniqueness, complexity, uncertainty and confl ict in the value process.

O potencial transformador das relações públicas comunitárias: um estudo de caso sobre o projeto de extensão Taquara

The present work refers to graduation media with specialization in Public Relations and intends to observe the potential for social transformation present in the work of the Community public relations and critical development of the profession in a community, from the perspective of economics concepts creative. Specifically highlights this practice in the community and region of Bauru from observation and evaluation of the work done by the author for two and a half years in project Taquara extension, along with Project Bamboo, which has bamboo as a focus of study and its extension actions.
