Desarrollo de un softphone, implementación de una centralita basada en código libre e integración con herramienta CRM

El proyecto consiste en la creación mediante software libre de un sistema de telefonía corporativo, que ofrece la mayor parte de las funcionalidades de un sistema telefónico implantado en cualquier PYME de la actualidad y que tiene como elemento principal una centralita telefónica Asterisk, así como en el desarrollo de un softphone(teléfono software) utilizando el protocolo de señalización SIP, que explota gran parte de las funcionalidades que proporciona la centralita. Este sistema de telefonía tiene además la capacidad de integrarse con herramientas CRM a través de la importación de los contactos en el listín corporativo del softphone.

El principal propósito del proyecto consiste en el intento de desarrollo de un softphone para Android empleando para ello el protocolo IAX2 soportado por la PBX Asterisk

Treball Final de Master - Servidor de Comunicacions Unificades

L'objectiu d'aquest projecte és la creació d'una prova de concepte de comunicacions unificades utilitzant productes de programari lliure existents. Aquesta prova de concepte servirà per poder fer demostracions del funcionament general del programari implicat amb el mínim de preparacions, instal·lacions i configuracions prèvies possibles. El projecte es dividirà en dos appliances o LiveCD, creats a traves de Suse Studio, anomenats Comunicacions Unificades i Comunicacions Unificades 2.Els productes de programari lliure que composen el Servidor de Comunicacions Unificades els podem classificar en productes principals, plugins o addons dels productes i productes secundaris.Com a productes principals tenim els següents servidors que cobreixen les necessitats principals del Servidor de Comunicacions Unificades:Asterisk v1.8.3 : Servidor de telefonia amb veu sobre IP (VoIP).FreePBX v2.9.0beta2 : GUI de control i administració d'Asterisk.Openfire v3.7.0 : Servidor de IM basat en el protocol XMPP.BigBlueButton v0.71a : Sistema de conferència web. Pendent finalitzar-ne l'implementació.I els seguents productes principals que cobreixen les necessitats del servidor de Comunicacions Unificades 2:Zimbra v7.0.1 : Servidor de correu electrònic i de calendari. Pendent resoldre conflicte inicialització LDAP.Funambol v9.0.0 : Sincronització Zimbra amb mòbils.Com a plugins o addons del productes tenim, classificats segons el producte:Asterisk addons: chan_jingle i chan_gtalkZimlets: Asterisk, Google Translator, Funambol i SocialsOpenfire pugins: Asterisk, Facebook i GmailCom a productes secundaris tenim els clients necessaris per poder utilitzar l'appliance:Firefox: Navegador web que servirà com a interfície d'usuari per les diferents eines d'administració i la demostració.Pigdin o Spark: Clients de missatgeria instantània, per l'appliance Comunicacions Unificades.A més d'instal·lar aquests productes, s'implementa una interfície web, mitjançant Drupal, en format HTML per enllaçar les diferents eines d'administració dels productes, per a cadascun dels dos appliances i es realitzara un Kiosk appliance per a familiaritzar-se amb l'entorn SuseStudio.

Implantació de la telefonia IP en un entorn empresarial

L’objectiu d’aquest treball és dissenyar un model general d’un sistema de telefonia IP per a una petita o mitjana empresa. El model ha de tenir en compteles característiques actuals de la xarxa de l’empresa i proposar una solució adient. Un altre requeriment és la utilització de software de lliure distribució, des del sistema operatiu fins al relatiu a VoIP, i més concretament, el software de centraleta VoIP Asterisk sobre GNU/Linux.En primer lloc s’estudiaran els conceptes bàsics de la telefonia IP (protocols,codificadors, servidors, etc.). En segon lloc, s’analitzaran els diferents escenarispossibles i es proposaran solucions adequades per cadascun d’ells. Després s’estudiarà el funcionament de les centraletes Asterisk i la seva configuració encada escenari. Finalment s’aplicarà aquest estudi a una empresa concreta

Assessing negative priming by attended distractors in a paper-and-pencil task

The paper-and-pencil digit-comparison task for assessing negative priming (NP) was introduced, using a referent-size-selection procedure that was demonstrated to enhance the effect. NP is indicated by slower responses to recently ignored items, and proposed within the clinical-experimental framework as a major cognitive index of active suppression of distracting information, critical to executive functioning. The digit-comparison task requires circling digits of a list with digit-asterisk pairs (a baseline measure for digit-selection), and the larger of two digits in each pair of the unrelated (with different digits in successive digit-pairs) and related lists (in which the smaller digit subsequently became a target). A total of 56 students (18-38 years) participated in two experiments that explored practice effects across lists and demonstrated reliable NP, i.e., slowing to complete the related list relative to the unrelated list, (F(2, 44) = 52.42, P < 0.0001). A 3rd experiment examined age-related effects. In the paper-and-pencil digit-comparison task, NP was reliable for the younger (N = 8, 18-24 years) and middle-aged adults (N = 8, 31-54 years), but absent for the older group (N = 8, 68-77 years). NP was also reduced with aging in a computer-implemented digit-comparison task, and preserved in a task typically used to test location-specific NP, accounting for the dissociation between identity- and spatial-based suppression of distractors (Rao R(3, 12) = 16.02, P < 0.0002). Since the paper-and-pencil digit-comparison task can be administered easily, it can be useful for neuropsychologists seeking practical measures of NP that do not require cumbersome technical equipment.

3D Analysis of the TCR/pMHCII Complex Formation in Monkeys Vaccinated with the First Peptide Inducing Sterilizing Immunity against Human Malaria

T-cell receptor gene rearrangements were studied in Aotus monkeys developing high antibody titers and sterilizing immunity against the Plasmodium falciparum malaria parasite upon vaccination with the modified synthetic peptide 24112, which was identified in the Merozoite Surface Protein 2 (MSP-2) and is known to bind to HLA-DR beta 1*0403 molecules with high capacity. Spectratyping analysis showed a preferential usage of V beta 12 and V beta 6 TCR gene families in 67% of HLA-DR beta 1*0403-like genotyped monkeys. Docking of peptide 24112 into the HLA-DR beta 1*0401-HA peptide-HA1.7TCR complex containing the VDJ rearrangements identified in fully protected monkeys showed a different structural signature compared to nonprotected monkeys. These striking results show the exquisite specificity of the TCR/pMHCII complex formation needed for inducing sterilizing immunity and provide important hints for a logical and rational methodology to develop multiepitopic, minimal subunit-based synthetic vaccines against infectious diseases, among them malaria.

6-Sulfatoxymelatonin as a predictor of clinical outcome in depressive patients

Objectives This study established the value of the 6-sulfatoxymelatonin (aMT6s) urine concentration as a predictor of the therapeutic response to noradrenaline reuptake inhibitors in depressive patients. Methods Twenty-two women aged 18-60 years were selected. Depressive symptoms were assessed by using the Hamilton Depression Scale. Urine samples were collected at 0600-1200 h, 1200-1800 h, 1800-2400 h, and 2400-0600 h intervals, 1 day before and 1 day after starting on the nortriptyline treatment. Urine aMT6s concentration was analyzed by a one-way analysis of variance/Bonferroni test. Spearman`s rank correlation coefficient was used to analyze the correlation between depressive symptoms after 2 weeks of antidepressant treatment and the increase in aMT6s urine concentration. Results Higher and lower size effect groups were compared by independent Student`s t-tests. At baseline, the 2400- to 0600-h interval differed from all other intervals presenting a significantly higher aMT6s urine concentration. A significant difference in aMT6s urine concentrations was found 1 day after treatment in all four intervals. Higher size effect group had lower levels of depressive symptoms 2 weeks after the treatment. A positive correlation between depressive symptoms and the delta of aMT6s in the 2400-0600h interval was observed. Conclusion Our results reinforce the hypothesis that aMT6s excretion is a predictor of clinical outcome in depression, especially in regard to noradrenaline reuptake inhibitors. Constraining the nuclear gluon distribution in eA processes at RHIC

A systematic determination of the gluon distribution is of fundamental interest in understanding the parton structure Of nuclei and the QCD dynamics. Currently, the behavior of this distribution at small x (high energy) is completely undefined. In this Letter we analyze the possibility of constraining the nuclear effects present in Xg(A) using the inclusive observables which would be measured in the future electron-nucleus collider at RHIC. We demonstrate that the Study of nuclear longitudinal and charm structure functions allows to estimate the magnitude of shadowing and antishadowing effects in the nuclear gluon distribution.
