The studies paths in the maze: life story of individuals with oncological diseases into use of blood transfusion in Natal has the hemotherapy as a primordial procedure to review the relationship between users of oncological health and the due ramifications. The hemotherapy looks for supply the organic needs through blood transfusion, which acquires vital function to the ones that have cancer, because it might reestablish the functionality of the organism throughout the raising of blood components. The impact over the transfusion affects emotionally and physically the users life. Aiming to reflect on these impacts, this study tried, through narratives of lives, rescue their experience since their knowledge of the disease until the time of blood transfusion using. It s about an exploratory-descriptive study, where the qualitative approach uses the theoretical-methodological reference of the oral life history to analyze a colony consisting of five users of health diagnosed with cancer, with achievement of at least three blood transfusions, the clinic Núcleo de Hematologia e Hemoterapia - UFRN, in Natal-RN. The network, in turn, was composed by employees of both sexes, regardless of age, who voluntarily agreed to participate in the study. The data collection, with approval of the Ethics Committee in Research, Liga Norte Riograndense Contra o Cancer, on the number 001/001/2012, occurred through semi-structured interviews, recorded individually in the home context that was previously chosen by employees. The methodological procedure occurred with the transcription of the interviews and their transcreations, and analysis of reports by thematic content analysis. At the reading orientation and interpretation of the employees stories, were discussed three categories of analysis: the impact on psychological REVIEW; impact on socialization and group membership, the environment and the impact of blood transfusion on treatment. Based on the narrative of the life histories of employees, we conclude that the experiences and feelings, hope and sorrow, pain and faith, even when facing a disease like cancer, bring lots of teaching and learning to health professional that deposits humanization health and reinstate hemotherapy forms of clinical critical

Memórias subterrâneas, histórias (re) visitadas: a contribuição metodologia da história oral em estudos de grupos étnicos

This article aims to reflect on the contribution of oral history in studies involving memory and identity of ethnic groups. Problematic issues here are part of the result of two recently completed researches, which consisted of reconstructing the memory of Afro-Brazilians from the methodology of oral history. These surveys were intended to transpose, into written language, memories transmitted by oral tradition and which was confined to family circles. The first was to investigate the process of identification and transmission of knowledge from a black cultural practice in the countryside of São Paulo (Piracicaba, Capivari, and Tietê), the Batuque of Umbigada, and the second to reconstruct the stories and culture of Afro-Brazilians in the city of Itu, São Paulo.

Fazer uma história da própria vida. Narrativa pessoal e memória comunicativa em Paul Schatz im uhrenkasten

This essay offers a reflection on the concepts of identity and personal narrative, a line of argument that is closely interlaced with a subject‘s capacity to self-representation. As self-representation is necessarily composed upon remembrance processes, the question of memory as an element that directly influences the formation of an individual‘s identity becomes an emergent topic. Bearing this objective in mind, I shall highlight the notion of biographic continuity, the ability to elaborate a personal narrative, as an essential prerogative to attain a sense of identitary cohesion and coherence. On the other hand, I will argue that not only experienced memories play a key role in this process; intermediated, received narratives from the past, memories transmitted either symbolically or by elder members of the group or, what has been meanwhile termed ―postmemory‖, also influence the development of an individual‘s identitary map. This theoretical framework will be illustrated with the novel Paul Schatz im Uhrenkasten, written by German post-Holocaust author Jan Koneffke.

Vivendo com a depressão: histórias de vida de mulheres

Este estudo teve como objetivo compreender e descrever histórias de vida de mulheres com depressão. A pesquisa tem uma abordagem qualitativa e a coleta de dados foi realizada em um Centro de Atenção Psicossocial (CAPS) da cidade de São Paulo, por meio de entrevistas, utilizando-se como referencial metodológico a História Oral de Vida. Participaram do estudo seis colaboradoras. Vê-se que a depressão é uma doença vivenciada historicamente. Desse modo, o passado é narrado como sofrido, doloroso e pesado. No presente, a depressão assume todo o espaço e engloba a vida, de forma que ela se torna apenas pano de fundo. A probabilidade de um futuro possível é vislumbrada por algumas das colaboradoras. Assim, este estudo possibilitou compreender que as pessoas têm, nas suas histórias de vida, projetos e necessidades diferentes, e que o plano terapêutico e o cuidado prestado pelo enfermeiro devem ser dirigidos para atender as suas singularidades no mundo.

História oral e estudos de comunicação e cultura

O artigo pretende discutir questões relacionadas às possibilidades de utilização dos métodos da história oral nas pesquisas empíricas em Comunicação. Também se propõe a discutir os atributos que tais pesquisas devem apresentar para que sejam pertinentes para o uso dessa metodologia. Uma das principais questões abordadas é sobre quais objetos ou fenômenos da Comunicação podem ser estudados tendo em vista a metodologia da História Oral. A partir dessa discussão,apontam-se quais as pesquisas de Comunicação que se abrem a essa possibilidade: aquelas que tenham preocupações relacionadas aos universos multiculturais, às identidades locais, às comunidades e às relações existentes entre as pessoas e os processos de comunicação, bem como usos e consumos midiáticos.

O presente trabalho tem por objetivo a implantação de um Programa de História Oral na Câmara Municipal do Rio de Janeiro, com a constituição de um acervo de entrevistas gravadas sobre a história do Legislativo do novo município formado com a fusão dos antigos estados da Guanabara e Rio de Janeiro, em 1975.Esse acervo servirá não só como fonte de informação sobre o papel da Câmara Municipal na história da cidade, a trajetória de seus vereadores e a lógica do processo legislativo, mas também como importante ferramenta de preservação e divulgação do passado e da memória da instituição.
