O estudo representa uma contribuio para enriquecer o patrimnio do Ensino de Cincias, a partir de experincias profissionais e pessoas com a teoria nos campos da sade, meio ambiente e educao ambiental, em meio ambiente escolar. Este estudo representa tambm uma responsabilidade no sentido de colaborar com a construo de uma educao formal que possa desvendar uma viso crtica da realidade social. Duas questes de pesquisa (Como alunos de 5 srie do ensino fundamental expressam em suas idias os conceitos de sade, meio ambiente e educao ambienta e, Por que a sade de uma pessoa est relacionada com o meio ambiente onde ela vive e, com a educao ambiental que ela tem) foram propostas com o intuito de buscar um entendimento melhor da forma como estudantes do ensino fundamental mostram em suas idias a enunciao dos conceitos de sade, meio ambiente e educao ambiental e a relao entre eles. O marco metodolgico aponta o estudo de caso como o conhecimento utilizado para a sustentao e materializao da investigao e, a observao e a entrevista como conhecimento complementar necessrio realizao do planejamento, da coleta e da anlise dos dados. O delineamento metodolgico descreve do contexto no qual os sujeitos da pesquisa esto inseridos, o ambiente da pesquisa, a construo dos dados, o encontro pesquisador-sujeitos e os conceitos utilizados no estudo. Os resultados so mostrados em duas sees. A primeira mostra como os sujeitos da pesquisa se manifestaram em relao aos conceitos de sade, meio ambiente e educao ambiental. A segunda mostra o porqu a sade de uma pessoa est relacionada com o meio ambiente onde ela vive e com a educao ambiental que ela tem, segundo as manifestaes dos sujeitos da pesquisa. O estudo mostra uma reflexo sobre o tema em pauta (conhecimento total) e a sala de aula (conhecimento local) e. aponta que possvel construir uma educao escolar, significativa, a partir dos conhecimentos, interesses e necessidades locais sem perder a dimenso macro da escola, da sociedade e do mundo.

The Gymnastic as a manifestation of the Body Culture Movement should be part of the contents worked in scholar Physical Education, throughout the process of Basic teaching. However, according to studies conducted by researchers from academic Gymnastics school knowledge involving the gymnastics have been tentatively taught in school by numerous factors. For this, the objective of this research was to understand and analyze the opinion of students in middle and high school about gymnastics classes developed with the involvement of graduation scholarship holder and the coordination of the project Gymnastics Goes to School from the UNESP/Campus Rio Claro Ncleos de Ensino, in 2012. This research used a questionnaire with topics about the Gymnastic with options: Never Practiced, Like a Lot, Like, Am Indifferent, Dislike, Hate with a space for writing and drawing, relevant to the research objectives. The research was performed with 79 students in middle and high school. With data analysis, it was observed that the students identified themselves more with the Artistic Gymnastic, followed by Rhythmic and Acrobatic Gymnastic and, at last, the General Gymnastic, both through the questionnaire and trough the drawings, which goes against the results from the article published in 2010 by Pereira et al, entitled The students detest the contents gymnastic in physical education classes: motives and alternatives, where the students understand the gymnastics activities only as support, abdominal and stretching. Therefore, to have a real understanding of gymnastics in school, there is a need for teachers to explain and develop the contents gimmicks, so the students could understand the difference among Gymnastics activities and, at the same time, discovering the pleasures of this body practice

This cross-sectional study aimed to evaluate the load carried by students in primary and secondary schools, state Vespasian /MG, and quantify the percentage established between backpack weight and body mass of these young people carry every day. The study included 916 students of both genders. Ages ranged from 10-19 years. 541 students (59.06%) carried the load backpack ranging from 10.02 to 33.43% of his body mass. Students with younger age, female students and those who opted for the backpack model designed dorsal attachment tended to carry a load higher than 10% of his body weight. 224 (24.45%) students complain of back pain and shoulder. It was concluded that the cargo is inadequate from the point of view of biomechanics and ergonomics, especially for younger individuals and females, since they are in growth phase, and this exposes them to an overhead increased risk of spinal injuries, with consequent repercussions in adulthood.

This text presents developed in the Graduate Program in Science and Mathematics Education at the Federal University of Uberlndia, in which it was intended to answer the question: What are the pedagogical implications for the fractions concept learning for students of the 6th grade of elementary school that the teaching guide activities can provide? The objectives of this research were: a) analyze the possible pedagogical implications for the learning of the fraction's concept for students of the 6th grade of elementary school through guiding teaching activities; b) using the conceptual connections of the fraction to enable students to develop an abstract thought and c) investigate whether guiding teaching activities reflect on 'how to think' and 'how to do' of the student. Five teaching activities have been developed (MOURA, 2002) from the perspective of teaching guiding activity (TGA) and had as object of study the teaching of fractions for students in 6th year of elementary school. They have been prepared and proposed activities in which it was intended to investigate the use of history of mathematics as an aid in learning the conceptual fraction links (CARAA, 1951) by students. Such activities, for analysis, were organized into episodes and scenes (MOURA, 2004) and discussed how students deal with the measurement of whole quantity (all) and subunits (part); how they represent in verbal or written language. It is hoped that the research is set up as an important contribution to mathematics teaching area and may contribute to the initial and continuing training of mathematics teacher sand the formation of theoretical thinking of elementary school students.

Esta tesis (desarrollada en la Base de Pesquisa, Formao e Profissionalizao Docente da UFRN) concentra su mbito de inters en el problema de la formacin, de la profesionalizacin del pensamiento del profesor, buscando investigar las Teoras Implcitas de los estudiantes del Curso de Pedagoga sobre la docencia en los aos iniciales de la Enseanza Fundamental. La emergente necesidad de trminos acceso a las Teoras Implcitas de estudiantes de Pedagoga (futuros profesores) sobre la docencia en los aos iniciales de la Enseanza Fundamental, a travs de un instrumento de pesquisa que posibilite su aplicacin en varios contextos formativos para contribuir con su proceso de profesionalizacin docente, constituye el problema analizado. La pesquisa tiene como objetivo elaborar un instrumento investigativo para estudiar las Teoras Implcitas de los profesores sobre la docencia en los aos iniciales de la Enseaza Fundamental. La complejidad del estudio nos ha llevado a integrar diferentes procedimientos metodolgicos, segn orientacin del paradigma sociocultural, tales como: estudios exploratorios, a travs de la revisin bibliogrfica de la literatura especializada y tcnica de trabajo creativo en grupo; tcnicas normativas y psicomtricas. A travs de los estudios exploratorios identificamos y configuramos tres teoras profesionales de la docencia en los aos iniciales de la Enseanza Fundamental, las cuales presentan una importante relacin con el Estado: la docencia como actividad laica, la docencia como actividad tcnica y la docencia como actividad profesional. Para la configuracin de la teoras, definimos siete subdominios estructurales de la docencia: funcin docente, concepcin de aluno, contenidos de enseanza, gestin de aula de clase, proceso formativo, condiciones de trabajo y naturaleza del grupo profesional. El cuestionario normativo ha sido el instrumento orientado para investigar las representaciones de los estudiantes a nivel de conocimientos establecidos y reglamentados por la cultura, como condicin bsica para investigar sus Teoras Implcitas sobre a docencia. El estudio ha constatado que los subdominios determinados para la comprensin del objeto de estudio estn presentes, de manera reincidente, en la literatura especializada como los son representativos en las identificaciones de los estudiantes investigados. Hemos concluido que las teoras configuradas para caracterizar la profesin docente en los aos iniciales de la Enseanza Fundamental hacen parte de la estructura de conocimientos de los estudiantes sobre la docencia, aunque los enunciados de las teoras, como actividad laica y como actividad tcnica, no presente ndice de tipicidad y de polaridad muy significativo cuanto aquellos relativos a la teora de la docencia como actividad profesional. Las Teoras Implcitas de los estudiantes ensean que ellos comparten elementos o rasgos de todas las teoras de la docencia, aunque se revelen ms predispuestos a la docencia como actividad profesional. El estudio orienta la aplicacin del cuestionario reglamentado a un grupo de profesores actuantes en el nivel de enseanza en cuestin, para que averigemos si los enunciados que hacen parte de la estructura de conocimientos de los profesores son los mismos que componen la estructura de conocimiento de los estudiantes, de modo a fortalecer la validacin de nuestro instrumento de pesquisa

Although learning strategies are important tools for schooling process, there is a lack of national instruments to evaluate their knowledge by brazilian students. Therefore, the objectives of this paper are to describe the steps necessary for the construction of a scale to evaluate the learning strategies for basic education students and to present the preliminary study of its psychometric properties. It is also discussed the utility of this instrument for diagnosis, intervention and prevention in school and educational psychology.
