The creation of this enterprise Web application arises from the need to optimize the time in the process of creating an online advertising campaign. The main objective of this work is to automate the process of validating fields in a web form. A web form [6] is a digital document that users enter data such as name, surname, address, ID number among others. These data will subsequently be processed and stored in a database and then be sent to the client. These data will subsequently be processed and stored in a database and then be sent to the advertiser. This validation process refers to programming the online form on the client‟s side using web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5 to control that the data entered by the user in this form are correct. Each field in a web form has a specific validation that depends on several factors; like being a nationwide launch of the campaign and validating data, thus depending on the type of validation a JavaScript file is generated with all validation web form. This file is integrated into the web form by calling the service. One purpose of this work is that any business user can program a web form, without prior knowledge of web programming, since programming is transparent to the user. This is a basic summary of the web application; however we must consider a number of requirements and parameters to make it more efficient and customizable depending on the needs of the end product of each advertising campaign. All these aspects are explained in detail in the following sections. This work was performed in the corporate Media Response Group, for the company Canalmail S.L, located in Alcobendas, supervised by professional tutors Daniel Paz and Jorge Lázaro Molina and PhD Assistant Lecturer at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Rafael Fernández Gallego.

Taxonomies have gained a broad usage in a variety of fields due to their extensibility, as well as their use for classification and knowledge organization. Of particular interest is the digital document management domain in which their hierarchical structure can be effectively employed in order to organize documents into content-specific categories. Common or standard taxonomies (e.g., the ACM Computing Classification System) contain concepts that are too general for conceptualizing specific knowledge domains. In this paper we introduce a novel automated approach that combines sub-trees from general taxonomies with specialized seed taxonomies by using specific Natural Language Processing techniques. We provide an extensible and generalizable model for combining taxonomies in the practical context of two very large European research projects. Because the manual combination of taxonomies by domain experts is a highly time consuming task, our model measures the semantic relatedness between concept labels in CBOW or skip-gram Word2vec vector spaces. A preliminary quantitative evaluation of the resulting taxonomies is performed after applying a greedy algorithm with incremental thresholds used for matching and combining topic labels.

Sending data between the construction site and an off-site design office is one of the more problematic areas in information technology for construction automation, particularly for construction defect management. The aim of this research is to investigate how mobile computing and new forms of human-computer interaction can be brought to bear on specific problems in construction management. The construction defect reporting system is one such application. Combining mobile and wireless computing technologies with a digital workbench, we have developed a system to facilitate remote telecollaboration between a construction site and an off-site engineering office. The application reported in this paper demonstrates how construction defect reporting can be streamlined by field collection of construction defect information using a mobile device and visualising the defect in a CAD model on a digital workbench in an engineering office. This paper reports on the design of the system and our tests of sending images from the construction site to the engineer’s office and positional accuracy of GPS for localization of the defect.

This cross disciplinary study was conducted as two research and development projects. The outcome is a multimodal and dynamic chronicle, which incorporates the tracking of spatial, temporal and visual elements of performative practice-led and design-led research journeys. The distilled model provides a strong new approach to demonstrate rigour in non-traditional research outputs including provenance and an 'augmented web of facticity'.

Recent organisational and technological changes à la Uber have generated a new labour market fringe: a digital class of workers and contractors. In this paper we study the case of CoContest, a crowdsourcing platform for interior design. Our objective is to investigate how profitable this type of work can be, also from a cross-country perspective, and why professionals choose to supply work on such a platform. Given the low returns, one might expect to see a pattern of northern employer/southern contractor. Yet analysis reveals a more nuanced pattern, in which designers supply their work even if they live in Italy, which is a high-income country. For these designers work on CoContest can make sense if they are new to the labour market and face high entry barriers, although crowdsourcing does not offer them profitable employment full time. The case of Serbia, the second-largest supplier of designers, is different, however. As a result of differences in purchasing power, if the market grows experienced Serbian designers can expect to make a living from crowdsourced contracts.
