Jogos digitais como estratégia de aprendizado: uma proposta de aplicação para o ensino da administração pública

O estudo objetivou dimensionar o valor estratégico dos Serious Games e da Gamificação como alternativas pedagógicas em favor do aprendizado sobre Gestão Pública. De cunho exploratório e descritivo, o estudo, visa fornecer algum conhecimento sobre ferramentas alternativas de apoio ao ensino da Gestão Pública, tomando o papel dos jogos digitais como instrumentos contributivos aos educadores. A metodologia aplicada é fenomenológica, pois buscou extrair significados por intermédio dos sujeitos, a fim de obter uma maior compreensão do fenômeno de aprendizagem baseada em jogos digitais. A investigação foi conduzida por pesquisas bibliográficas e de campo, na qual a coleta de dados foi obtida por meio de entrevistas por pautas. Ao todo, a amostra contemplou 18 sujeitos envolvidos com games em educação, baseando-se em três critérios: pesquisa, desenvolvimento e aplicação. Foram analisados artigos e publicações de autores brasileiros, constatando-se a baixa produção sobre o tema, principalmente, de cunho qualitativo sobre ao assunto. Além disso, observou-se uma presença de livros e publicações em língua inglesa muito superior às produções nacionais, por essa razão, a pesquisa buscou ampliar a discussão sobre o tema. Como resultados das entrevistas, foram destacados benefícios cognitivos, pedagógicos, interacionais com base nas teorias interacionistas de Vygotsky e Piaget, nas quais os jogos digitais formam espaços de aprendizagem e interação, cabendo, contudo, aos educadores, a escolha de empregá-los ou não em salas de aula. Os resultados também revelam alguns problemas de implementação, tais como: (1) falta de investimentos em treinamento dos professores, (2) falta de infraestrutura nas instituições de ensino, (3) integração curricular, (4) acesso à infraestrutura/tecnologia em comunidades ribeirinhas fora dos grandes centros urbanos, (5) adequação ao público-alvo, pois nem todos os estudantes se interessam por jogos eletrônicos. Ao final, iniciativas do MEC têm propiciado a busca de novas ferramentas e tecnologias que venham a incrementar as práticas pedagógicas, e nesse sentido, os jogos digitais adequam-se a esta realidade exigida, pois trazem consigo novas reflexões acerca do ensino, do papel dos professores, e de novas possibilidades no ensino de Gestão Pública. O valor estratégico dos games revela-se como uma ferramenta pedagógica propiciadora de espaços de aprendizado alicerçados em: interatividade, imersão e interconectividade, responsáveis por tornarem os aluno sujeitos ativos no processo educacional.

Administração estratégica em hospitais

O estudo das diversas abordagens utilizadas por esses hospitais poderá contribuir para a discussão sobre a importância da aplicação de técnicas modernas de gestão e de um modelo sistemático de administração estratégica em hospitais. Além disso, os resultados fornecem pistas sobre tendências dos mercados de saúde brasileiro e americano e sobre os desafios para os quais os executivos hospitalares devem estar preparados.

Ética na pesquisa em Administração

Ethics on scientific research is approached and often discussed in several areas of knowledge connected to health. In the Administration area there are very few studies which approach the topic of ethics on research. The present paper tried to fill in this gap in the production of knowledge about the topic, investigating how the ethical principles found in the literature and in the codes of conduct are noticed and taken into account in Administration research activities developed by acting researchers in Administration Post Graduation Programs. Theoretically speaking, the study was based mainly on the approaches by Creswell (2007) and Bell and Bryman (2007), which discuss the research ethical principles. Methodologically speaking it was all about an exploratory kind of study, with qualitative research approach. Upon data collection, personal interviews were made aiming at its depth and focus groups were formed. The first stage had interviews with four experienced researchers who took part on a teaching and researching event and on the second stage we used the focus group technique. The focus groups were done in four college institutions along with the post graduation programs in Administration in the states of Rio Grande do Norte, Paraíba and Pernambuco, in Brazil. The results suggest the existence of general principles and parameters for the scientific research recommended in the literature and on official resolution. However, in the Administration area, there are only a few recommendations of good practices when it comes to submitting articles for scientific publications but we found no guidance with ethical principles and parameters which cover all the activities in the scientific research and which specifically meet the research particularities in Administration. The main ethical dilemma pointed by the researchers refers to ethical questions which arise at the time of data collection and on disclosing the results. Most researchers do not know the guidelines and the ethical norms on ethics about research that we have in our country neither do they send in their projects to the research ethics committee. When dilemma arises, they decide the ethical question based on their values and common sense. These elements confirm the thesis that the researcher s procedure in the research activities in Administration is predominantly signed by personal values or by common sense and less by ethical principles, whether by not knowing the normative instruments related to ethics or by disagreeing with any disciplining rules on ethical behavior in the research

Práticas interdisciplinares no ensino superior: a experiência do curso de graduação em administração da UNAMA - Pará

This work addresses the study of interdisciplinarity in higher administration education, a topic of great relevance in the present context, due to guidelines issued by Ministry of Education through the National Curriculum Guidelines -NCGs for undergraduate courses in Management. The attention on the subject emerges from the gained experience of a researcher and teacher working as manager of an undergraduate course in Business Administration who set up interdisciplinarity through interdisciplinary projects in a management course pedagogical project at a private university in State of Pará/Brazil. The work rebuilds and reports experiences, and studies the practice of lecturers involved in those interdisciplinary actions. The study aimed to identify changes in pedagogical practices of teachers involved in the searched interdisciplinary experience. To address the questions that directed the work and achieve proposed objectives, from a qualitative approach, a significant bibliographical and documentary work was conducted on the topic. In the survey carried out on secondary sources such as publications of major authors and scientific papers reporting interdisciplinary experiences in higher administration education, it was found that interdisciplinarity for its ambiguous character is still poorly understood by teachers, and reports on its application in administration teaching are incipient. This study also used data collected from primary sources, from dialogues through interviews with educational fellows - teachers and officers of the institution that served as locus of the research, who had the opportunity to experience the studied interdisciplinary experience. Data were processed and analyzed using content analysis technique. Research results showed that teachers of the institution of research have a good understanding of meaning of interdisciplinarity as a link between disciplines; it was also found substantial evidence of changes in teaching practices and actions of such teachers based on their participation in interdisciplinary projects. Although the experience studied can be considered innovative and challenging, much needs to be done in the course management for achievement of interdisciplinary actions in the course, particularly regarding to the removal of institutional, methodological, psychosocial, epistemological obstacles in operationalizing interdisciplinary practices, with emphasis on the need of a process of continuous and specific training aiming at developing skills for interdisciplinary acting, to the extent that these education professionals do not perceive themselves able to act as interdisciplinary lecturers

Estudo bibliográfico de publicações sobre a atividade administrativa da enfermagem em saúde mental

0bjetivando estudar a atividade administrativa do enfermeiro em saúde mental enquanto um instrumento do processo de trabalho, realizamos um estudo bibliográfico de publicações de enfermagem sobre esta temática no período de 1988 a 1997. Através da leitura e análise crítica de 8 artigos e 19 dissertações e teses selecionadas, identificamos as principais características dessa prática, quais sejam: os enfermeiros são os responsáveis pela equipe e assistência de enfermagem, obedecendo à lógica determinada pela instituição; suas ações não são planejadas, coordenadas e avaliadas; as atividades administrativas utilizam a maior parte de seu tempo de trabalho e o cuidado direto de enfermagem é realizado pela equipe auxiliar de enfermagem, sendo que nos serviços extra--hospitalares os atendimentos diretos e grupais são mais freqüentes.

O provimento do cargo do gestor escolar e a qualidade de ensino nas escolas públicas: análise a partir das publicações nacionais (1990-2005)

The research that originated this article was aimed at analyzing how the Brazilian publications from 1990 through 2005 set out the relationship between the appointment of school principals and democratic management and quality education. To that end, 38 books were selected and divided into three periods: 1990-1995; 1996-2000; 2001-2005. The findings indicate that from the second period on there is increasing consensus among scholars about the election of school principals as a form of appointment directly related to the democratization of management and quality improvement, defined as a collective and participatory construction of educational goals and practices.

Gestão para eficiência energética: levantamento e análise da produção científica divulgada em alguns periódicos das áreas de engenharia de produção e administração (2001-2011)

This research leads to a meta-analysis of scientific production in energy efficiency in industrial sectors, recorded in ten (10) leading journals in Administration and Engineering Production in Brazil, between 2001 and 2011. To this end, this scholarship was examined based on the following parameters: a) the total contribution and journal articles, b) methods used in studies, and c) the theoretical gaps to exploit. The diagnosis is that one infers: academic work in energy efficiency industries accounted for only twenty-nine (29) published articles, and only eight (8) have energy efficiency as a central theme of the work. Although the results still showed a rising trend in the number of publications since the last five (5) years analyzed showed 65.5% of all published files relating to energy efficiency. It contributes, therefore, the systematization of the academic production in the area of energy efficiency and business subsidies are provided for this field of research in Brazil.

Sustentabilidade e cadeia de suprimentos: uma perspectiva comparada de publicações nacionais e internacionais

O objetivo do artigo é apresentar um quadro de referência de conceitos da Gestão da Sustentabilidade na Cadeia de Suprimentos (GSCS) para auxiliar pesquisas futuras na tentativa de integração intra e interorganizacional fundamentada em aspectos da sustentabilidade. Trata-se de um artigo teórico, cujo procedimento metodológico adotado foi o desk research em periódicos da área de gestão e operações, realizado em duas etapas. Na primeira, buscou-se visualizar os estudos da temática em seis importantes periódicos internacionais da área, totalizando 53 artigos entre 1954 e 2009. Esta etapa gerou uma evolução da temática, contribuindo para apontar tendências. Na segunda, foram revisados seis periódicos nacionais da área de administração. Selecionaram-se 11 artigos, publicados entre 1961 e 2009, resultando em um panorama da temática no contexto acadêmico brasileiro. O conceito de GSCS apareceu apenas em 2007, o que mostra a atualidade do tema, embora este seja a junção de temáticas anteriormente estudadas.
