The objective of this work was to evaluate the effects of kinetin and calcium applications on the physiologic and productive traits of soybean plants, subjected to drought and shade conditions, at flowering. A randomized complete block design was used, in a split-plot arrangement, with four replicates. Soybean plants cultivated in 38 dm³ pots were sprayed with calcium and kinetin, alone or mixed, and subjected to drought and shade during 12 days. After stress period, plants were cultivated under appropriate water and light availability. Calcium and kinetin application resulted in maintenance of the relative water content after four days of drought beginning. Membrane damage, measured at the end of stress period, was lower in plants sprayed with calcium and kinetin. CO2 assimilation diminished by stress condition, mainly under drought, and grain yield decreased at the same intensity in both environments.

The Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) can be combined with the acquisition of academic knowledge and cultural development of students, as they improve their information literacy, and why not say, also digital. Weaim in this research seek references and present experiences that encourage a new concept of school library with the use of ICT in teaching and learning in individual and collective development of the student community. To complement this study we prioritized the following objectives: to insert the technology into the routine of a school library; identify the informational and technological profile of adolescents; understand the needs and technological resources they use to obtain information in daily life and also analyze the importance the effective participation of the school library in the educational context of the school, through greater interaction between the librarian, teacher and pedagogical coordination seeking a cooperative and informal ICT teaching and learning for along with the students, sharing the search for information and knowledge, in a conscious and responsible way. Chosen as theoretical foundation the cognitive studies of Jean Piaget, witch explains how the stages of assimilation and accommodation of knowledge in cooperative practices work. As a methodology was developed a participatory-action research, to learn the behavioral state of young people and adolescents, based on the model of information search for the everyday life (Everyday Life Information Seeking) – ELIS, developed by Finnish researcher Savoleinen (2006), as well as identify the informational and technological profile of adolescents from two selected approaches in the scientific literature (HUGUES-HASSEL; AGOSTO, 2007; UCL, 2008). Thus, came up the initiative to create a Confraternity of the Library in a collaborative digital environment, providing the participants discussion and learning technologies as well as digital information literacy enhancement.

A escola compreende espaço privilegiado na transmissão-assimilação do saber elaborado, e para tanto adota atividades curriculares e extracurriculares. Assim, como as demais disciplinas que compõem o currículo escolar, a educação física desempenha uma função específica e integrante no processo de formação discente. Para tanto veicula conteúdos que lhes são muito próprios no âmbito da escola. No entanto, o que a realidade evidencia é que o desenvolvimento das atividades extracurriculares na Educação Básica fica em sua maioria a cargo do professor de educação física e o pior: ocupando muitas vezes o horário destinado à realização das aulas desta disciplina no decorrer do período escolar. Comprometendo desta maneira os conteúdos específicos desta disciplina. Este estudo buscou compreender a atuação do professor de educação física, face às atividades extracurriculares que perpassam o processo transmissãoassimilação na escola bem como as implicações que decorrem do atendimento por parte do professor das solicitações advindas pela escola na realização das atividades extracurriculares na escola, buscando identificar se os docentes estão preparados para lidar com suas próprias emoções e com as emoções advindas de seus alunos. A breve revisão de literatura feita proporcionou o estudo caracterizado como uma pesquisa qualitativa, utilizando pesquisas bibliográficas e entrevista semi-estruturada, com a análise interpretativa dos dados coletados. A delimitação do campo de investigações desta pesquisa se deu com a escolha de professores de educação física inseridos em escolas da rede estadual de ensino. As concepções sobre a importância do ensino da educação física escolar sofreram inúmeras mudanças desde a sua implementação como matéria no currículo da escola. Segundo SOARES (1994), a cultura corporal de movimento, é o conhecimento que constitui o conteúdo da educação física, esta é representada pela ginástica, esportes, lutas, capoeira, atividades físicas de aventura, práticas corporais alternativas, jogos, circo e dança. Os PCNs trazem uma proposta de problematizar os conteúdos de ensino, elencando alguns dos principais problemas que a sociedade deve se atentar para se manter equilibrada, estes são denominados Temas Transversais. Este estudo tem como propósito é investigar as relações entre o Meio Ambiente e a Educação Física na perspectiva da cultura corporal de movimento, mostrando que é possível o trabalho de ambas temáticas em conjunto. Em paralelo a isso, o estudo também tem como objetivo a elaboração de uma proposta de organização dos conteúdos que relacionam algumas temáticas do Meio Ambiente com os alguns conteúdos da Educação Física. Para o (PCN/BRASIL 1998), o papel da educação em relação ao meio ambiente é proporcionar para o aluno a possibilidade da construção de um mundo socialmente justo e ecologicamente equilibrado. O que requer responsabilidade coletiva e individual de qualquer individuo planetário, interferindo no modo como a sociedade programa as prioridades no seu cotidiano. Esta interferência só será possível se houver a construção dos conceitos gerando uma assimilação de valores. Para isso, propomos uma organização curricular dos conteúdos da educação física juntamente com as temáticas ambientais. The idea of this research is to analyze the possibilities of using chess as a nice alternative for motivating and teaching mathematics. The study was carried out in three steps, consisting of a literature review about the importance of games for education, followed by the importance that the game of chess has on the student's cognitive development and, finally, a qualitative analysis of data obtained by recording it. The data were taken from some activities performed in the 6th grade class of elementary education at a public school in the city of Roseira, state of São Paulo, in a team at the age 9 and 12 year-old students. The result of this research proved to be significant the use of chess game to teach math, we were able to verify that there was an easy assimilation of the subject, because when a student plays, he/she willdevelop skills in the game which becomes an incentive to study even more

The aim of this experiment was evaluate the effect of the bioestimulant administered in grafted and non-grafted japanese cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) plants, under greenhouse conditions, in gas exchanges during the development of the plant and in the increase of yield. The experiment was carried out in the experimental area of Agronomic Sciences University of UNESP, Campus of Botucatu, São Paulo State, Brazil. The experiment design was completely randomized, in a factorial arrangement of 2x5, grafted and non-grafted plants and 5 treatments with bioestimulant: control, indolbutyric acid 0,0005% + citocinine 0,0009% + gibberelic acid 0,005% 250 mL ha-1; indolbutyric acid 0,0005% + citocinine 0,0009% + gibberelic acid 0,005% 375 mL ha-1; indolbutyric acid 0,0005% + citocinine 0,0009% + gibberelic acid 0,005% 500 mL ha-1; Yuca extract (Yucca elephantipes) + manganese + iron + copper + sulfur 375 mL ha-1 applied 15 days after the transplant, in intervals of 7 days between the applications, via leaf. The effect of the treatments were evaluated through the observations of the following characteristics: production of fruits (number and mass), average mass of the fruit and measures of gas exchanges. It can be concluded that indolbutyric acid 0,0005% + citocinine 0,0009% + gibberelic acid 0,005% 250 mL ha-1 increased CO2 assimilation rate and the water efficiency, influencing in addition to increase the quantity of the fruits
Políticas culturais, participação e educação: o caso da rede Arte Cultura Rio Claro - SP (2008-2012)

No atual momento as redes sociais, fazendo uso dos meios digitais/virtuais e partindo para ações no real/presencial, têm tido cada vez mais papel político importante nas transformações das relações humanas. Nestas redes há compartilhamentos de diversas informações, documentos e materiais com conteúdos que auxiliam na formação, assimilação e aprendizagem tanto pelos participantes diretos destas redes quanto pelos demais sujeitos e cidadãos influenciados pelas ideais elaboradas a partir destas redes. Este projeto pretende estudar a rede “Arte Cultura Rio Claro” no período 2008 a 2012 tendo como foco a realização da I Conferência Municipal de Política Cultural e as lutas pela criação do Conselho Municipal de Política Cultural. O trabalho abordará: as trocas e compartilhamentos entre os integrantes desta rede, a realização de encontros, reuniões, fóruns; o recebimento do Prêmio do Ministério da Cultura como ‘Articulação da Rede’ e a realização do Projeto “Tuxáua”; a realização das pré-conferências e 1ª Conferência Municipal de Política Cultural; a criação do Conselho Municipal de Política Cultural; entre outros. O objetivo do projeto é avaliar a rede como processo participativo, mostrando a relevância da política cultural para a educação não-formal de uma comunidade, principalmente por conta das pautas desta rede trazerem tanto a importância de valorizar a diversidade cultural, quanto a importância da participação cidadã nas decisões políticas

The yeast Cryptococcus neoformans is the etiologic agent of cryptococcosis, an infectious cosmopolitan disease that affects humans. Although rare, this disease is potentially fatal, especially for immunocompromised hosts. This pathogen is frequently isolated from excrements of pigeons and parrots, with many environmental sources such as birds, pigeon droppings, eucalyptus leaves, decaying trees, towers, churches and places of storage of grain (the port area). The isolation of this microorganism has been obtained also from the aquatic environment. The identification of environmental sources is needed to protect human health, especially susceptible populations such as immunocompromised. Therefore, this study investigated the presence of Cryptococcus neoformans in yeast isolates obtained from samples of sea water and sand from three regions of São Paulo: São Sebastião Channel, Santos and Ubatuba. Isolates were analyzed according to micro-and macroscopic characteristics and biochemical tests: microculture, urease, ink nankin, auxanograma, zymogram and phenol. We analyzed 199 isolates, 175 of which had features suggestive for Cryptococcus spp. in microculture. All these 175 isolates were sown in the Christensen urea middle to verify the production of urease and submitted to the technique nankin ink to visualize the capsule. Of these, only 24 were selected for the next test that was the auxanograma (assimilation of carbohydrate and nitrogen). Of the 24, 10 were tested in zymograms (fermented sugar), from which 5 were selected for the phenoloxidase test in medium containing dopamine. None of the 5 isolates tested had black or brown color characteristic of Cryptococcus neoformans. Among living beings, the human species is distinguished by the need to produce material and intentionally its existence through labor, an important part of a process of humanization. However, in the current historical conditions, the work does not meet the vital needs of the vast majority, as they do not owned what they produce, they do not realize as humans beings in work activity, they dehumanize themselves. Since, even in such conditions, continue to work everyday, we ask ourselves how they support the condition in which they live. As the decision of the historical men are defined by the education process they experienced, we question whether the schooling that take places in capitalist public school has the purpose of developing an instruction in the working class graduating to be exploited at work throughout life, consenting to be bound of the relationships use of themselves by others, multiple determinate, while they are adapted to a life without the products work. Our hypothesis is that to make this education project, the public school needed to assimilate the scientific management, developed by Frederyck Taylor, in the pedagogical organization. We based on dialectical and historical materialism, which we established the public school environment as reproducing the class struggle, highlighting the teacher work. The research was conducted in a Bauru’s public school, where teachers answered questionnaires that were used to analyze the formulated hypothesis
